Hands down the BEST BBQ spot in our area!!! All of their BBQ is mouthwatering and has us coming back every season. There isn’t one dinner on the menu that isn’t made to absolute perfection and let’s not forget about their HUGE list and options for ice cream/dessert. They have enough on their menu to try something different all season long. The owners are fantastic human beings, they are running a true staple BBQ spot in the community, love this place and love the owners!!! 💕

Classic American roadside BBQ with options from half chicken dinners to pulled pork to local specialty - spiedies! The ice cream is also classic America, with both soft serve and served on a cone or in a cup by the scoop (ok, technically sizes are small medium large)! They have milk shakes, banana splits, and so many other mouth watering combinations. The only mistake is not getting there before they sell out!

Got a twist and there was litteraly one swirl of chocolate, the rest was vanilla, ice cream was way too runny not even hard, the one younger girl there is very rude.!

Stopped here because I was working in the area had some great chicken cooked over charcoal. I'm sure they do sell out in the evening (as one reviewer said) because it's that good but like most businesses that want to make a profit they can't have something that takes hours to cook right up till closing. So call ahead or order it then you wont miss out. Worth the trip there icecream is really good also super creamy. Thanks for the great lunch!

Who doesn’t love the Big Dipper?! This location serves excellently seasoned and grilled chicken, at a decent price, whilst having some of the most pleasant staff around. I absolutely recommend the half chicken dinner for lunch!!There is limited seating available outside which is nice on a summer or fall day!

We go here for ice cream pretty regularly, which is always good. We tried the chicken dinner and were a little thrown off by the steep price of $14.50 per “plate.” We ordered 2 of them and were told it would be $29, I pay with my card so it goes up to $32 and change with the fee. I check my account the next day and I was charged $35. I left the tip line blank so I can only assume they tipped themselves. I did not get a copy of the receipt so there’s nothing I can do.The portions are small. The food was pretty ok so I won’t take that away from them. It’s a shame that for two people a half pound of chicken and 4 small scoops of sides cost $35 when all is said and done. We didn’t even get the waters we asked for. Unfortunately we chose to forgo the ice cream due to the large expense of the small meal.Needless to say, if we choose to continue to patron here, we will stick to ice cream and will only be paying in cash moving forward.

Just a truck driver passing through town and figured I'd stop in. Well im a huge critic when it comes to pulled pork and all I can say is even after digging for flaws I couldn't do anything but enjoy it! Keep up the good work, will definitely visit again!

We used the Big Dipper II to cater food for a small picnic. The food was excellent. I wish I had a dollar for every time someone asked me for the Mac Salad recipe! Super nice people too!

This was a great stop for lunch while traveling. The food was ready fast and the portions sizes were huge so you definitely get your money's worth (my wife couldnt even finish). We got the pulled pork dinner with coleslaw and macaroni salad, and it was all delicious. The rolls were soft and fresh as well. There is covered and open outdoor seating to choose from. Definitely worth a visit. Just a heads up for travelers there is not a public bathroom.

Really great people! The chicken dinners we had were awesome, and I can sethe e why they sell out so fast sometimes! It's THAT good! My daughter had the Pulled Pork, and she never comments on food... But straight up said, "this Pulled Pork is sooooo good!"Service was awesome, and the owners are really awesome people and incredibly friendly with their patrons! Support your small businesses!

Never disappointed with this place!!! Chicken is always so moist and flavorful, and the salt potatoes are money!!! Love when the juices from the chicken mix with the sides and create flavor nirvana in your mouth.Been times when they've been out of chicken because it's such a hot commodity, but I just try something else and it's always just as good!Keep up the great work?

My spouse ordered a chicken dinner and I ordered pulled pork dinner. The chicken tasted good. The Cole slaw was ok but did not taste homemade. The Cole slaw tasted like it was premade out of a jar. The fruit option was not fresh, if was canned fruit. My pulled pork was awful. I don't think it was made fresh there, it tasted like Lloyd's pulled pork that can be purchased at stores. I don't know if it was Lloyd's or not, but it tasted similar. Salt potatoes were fine. No ribs were available and no baked beans were available. Picnic tables were available outside to eat there, but the picnic tables were in sight of all empty boxes and garbage in the back.

MUST TRY!!This place has amazing BBQ! If you are anywhere on the Northeast coast you should just go ahead and detour here to get food.Ordered the half rack of ribs dinner and the pork sandwich dinner; included sides and we got the corn bread, macaroni salad, and cole slaw. Everything was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. And the portions sizes!!! HUGE!🤤🤤
