I recently had a scare with my almost 4 year old English bulldog. She woke up lethargic, not eating, not drinking, vomiting, diarrhea, and pale gums. My vet was unable to take me in and advised me to go to an emergency vet right away. I asked them to recommend the best one and I was advised to one on Jericho turnpike in Commack. I was so upset that I stopped at the wrong place but it actually was perfect. The staff at Peace Love Pets Veterinary Care took my dog in right away after they noticed she needed immediate care. The entire staff was very calm and caring with my fur baby, comforted and calmed me because I was an absolute mess. Dr. Crockett-Ho was absolutely wonderful. She examined my dog, put her on oxygen, performed the needed tests and thoroughly explained everything she was doing and her findings. While I was waiting for tests, the staff offered me tea, snacks, made me laugh to try and make the situation a bit more calmer. The entire staff went above and beyond my expectations. I honestly couldn’t come up with anything more meaningful and nice to say about the staff. I am extremely grateful for all of the help, love and care my dog and I received. Danielle called me 2 days after that scary day, to see how my fur baby was doing. She was very sweet. Thank you Peace Love Pets for taking such AMAZING care of my baby. Thank you for treating her like she was your pet. Thank you all for your honesty and compassion. I’m extremely grateful for all of you. I highly recommend anyone with a pet to go here for the best care!!!

Second visit here with my pup Roxie. Everyone is friendly and staff seems very knowledgeable. I researched many options within a few miles radius and ultimately chose here because of the positive reviews. My initial pup consultation and physical went well. Today we trimmed her nails and gave her follow up shots. I signed up for a monthly membership which seems worth it so far with the discounts. Recommended so far. Will update as time goes on.

In the past my senior dog needed medication before vet visits because he would screech and try to bite everything (he still tried even with medication). Since we starting visiting Peace Love Pets he stays laying calmly in his bed throughout his vet exam. The staff are all super patient with him and take the time to move at his pace giving him many treat breaks. It was truly a fear free visit!

Peace Love & Pets has been our Veterinary Care choice for over Five years. Dr. Jennifer Baillie has been my dog's Veterinarian for those five years as she is very knowledgeable & passionate & treats my dog Brownie like it was her own. Recently I had my 10 year old Puggle neutered and Dr Ballie & her associate Gina could not have done a better job. They put me at ease as they explained the entire process to me & they gave me a phone call after the procedure was finished to let me know that Brownie was recovering & doing well. Before I took him home both Gina & Dr. Baillie sat with me to explain the medicine & the symptoms to look for after surgery. I would not trust anyone else with my little pride & joy then Dr. Baillie & the entire Peace Love & Pets family.

I switched to Peace love Pets from another veterinarian in the area. I honestly only have good things to say about the practice. Appointments are always on time and haven’t waited more than 5 minutes. Doctors are all really nice and Informative. They did a great job with my dogs neuter and his incision looks great! I have used Dr. Bailee and Dr. Crockett.

I cannot speak highly enough of this veterinary clinic. Every doctor there is absolutely stellar. Very experienced but also empathic and sensitive to pet parent’s needs. I go frequently as I have 2 very small senior dogs. I very recently experienced an emergency situation with one of my pups, they accommodated me as an emergency appointment, they helped and guided me through how to get the specialized help my pup needed. I cannot thank them enough.

We recently brought our dog in to be checked for a coughing condition. Our regular vet (Dr. Crockett) was unavailable. Our dog was seen by Dr. Glaser. This experience was horrible. It seemed like Dr. Glaser was pushing EVERYTHING to make more money for the practice - knowing that concerned dog owners would say YES to anything for their beloved pets. The "breaking point" was when she prescribed Cerenia for our dog. The medication was $32 PER PILL. When I asked about the high cost - she replied it was due to "convenience." This medication was EXTREMELY OVERPRICED! The price on Chewy for a 4 PACK of the same medication is $20! It's inhumane to rip off pet owners who are in a vulnerable position. Dr. Glaser also took the time to remind us to bring in our other dog for follow-up procedures. Not asking about our dog's health - just looking to bring more money into the practice. We have since retrieved the records of our 3 pets and found another vet. This was simply unconscionable!

I I'm so happy to have found this wonderful veterinarian facility! I was lucky enough to get Dr Baillie!💙🐾 She is the kindest & most thorough Dr, that I have ever been to! Her paper work from a well test, "I'VE NEVER SEEN SUCH PERFECTION! THANK YOU DR. BAILLIE🐾💜 The staff there is all, so lovely & helpful. I am so grateful to have found this place even though it was under sad circumstances. My senior cat was in need of immediate care. A receptionist was able to get us in an hour (luckily). There was little to no wait time to be seen. The nurse Laney (or Lanie (spl?)) was SO sweet and warm to my very skittish cat and to me. Dr. Jennifer Crockett was gentle and even called the next morning to check on my cat. After my cat passed away, the staff sent a handwritten condolence card. When I’m ready to have another pet, I’m 100% coming back to this Vet’s office.

AMAZING and wonderful staff who truly cares for their patients and families. We had to put our dog Piper down which was very traumatic for us and Dr Ballie and the entire staff was compassionate and wonderful. Dr Ballie was caring and sat with us for as long as we needed and made an impossible situation easier for us. You can tell she cares for the pets and their families and most of all is a tremendous doctor. We left two other places and drive over 30 minutes to go here. The entire staff are all great and many had tears in their eyes for us as we dealt with losing our fur baby. I can’t say enough about the staff and how great they treat everyone. This is not just a job for this great group of employees as you can “feel” the sincere care they have for everyone.

We started with Dr. Baillie at Peace Love Pets years ago after a negative experience with the vet who took over after previous vet retired. I can't say enough good things about all of the doctors and staff that have cared for our 2 dogs, Luke and Sophie. They are all caring, responsive and professional. We recently had to put one of our dogs to sleep and everyone there was so supportive and compassionate throughout her last weeks. We have total confidence in them and their care of our furry family members. We highly recommend them.

Dr. Levitan has been caring for Jive since he was a pup. The office is incredibly responsive, and they always follow up with a phone call after a visit to make sure everything is alright. They love animals, and it shows.

Sadly, my boy and I are moving out of state but Lucky wanted to leave a review for the best place he hated the most! - I still don’t understand why my mom took me to you guys a bunch of times. She totally knows when we reach the parking lot I got my tail between my legs and give her “again, how dare you”! look. Dr.Litwack and his assistants have been amazing and really care. Dr. L is very attentive and thorough and always makes sure all my moms 183 questions are answered. The ladies at the front desk are always a pleasure and today Mel went above and beyond helping my mom with a lot of annoying paper work and was very kind. The Victoria’s are always amazing as well! We will miss all of the staff, I just won’t miss the taking my temperature part. ❤️Lucky

From the cheap chairs shoved together in the waiting room to the filthy falling apart dirty exam room this place reminds me of where people on welfare would go. What ever happened to the days that any medical facility was spotlessThe mat on the table was filthy. The cabinets were falling apart. The walls were dirty There wasn’t even a seat for me in the exam room. Maybe it’s me but I expect a much higher levelOf decor for my pet and myself. The place was also boiling hot. Thank god I left before they could do anythingI can’t imagine anyone wanting to go hereYou’ve been warned And to the staff don’t bother responding as this is facts and nothing you can say changes that

This was a wonderful vet until recently. For ten years we had nothing but excellent feedback to offer. However, Daniel and Victoria are the last two staff members still working there who are wonderful people. Unfortunately, the two young girls at the front desk have no idea how to communicate with customers nor do they understand the relationship that many of us had with the former staff.

I had been curious to try Peace Love Pets as I had wanted to find a new veterinarian for our new dog and two cats. We had a dog emergency yesterday (Saturday) and I decided to call and see if we could get in... they took us within a few hours. We thought the office was cool, clean and welcoming. The receptionist was very sweet, the vet assistant was very kind and caring and we were very happy with Dr. Bailey. Our dog was well cared for and loved and she is already feeling better. We are happy that we have finally found a veterinarian's office that we look forward to having a long relationship with for our menagerie of pets.

I needed to bring my cat in for an ultrasound so I researched and found this place. I called to set up an appointment and whoever I spoke to was extremely rude and unprofessional over the phone, I should have listened to my gut and say never mind and find somewhere else to go. But, another lady had called me to confirm my appointment and was extremely sweet so I figured the first lady I spoke to was just having a bad day and it does not reflect the practice. Day of the appointment, one of the older ladies (I think it was the one doing the ultrasound, not sure bc she never even introduced herself) came out with my cats chart since I had previously sent over all of her information, and said to me in the waiting room in front of other customers “oh do you know that your cat has a high thyroid level” and I said that is something I went over with my vet and she assured me it was just slightly elevated, she then looked at me while still standing about 10 feet away from me IN FRONT OF THE OTHER CUSTOMERS, and said “oh no it is significantly elevated I would not be surprised if this cat has a thyroid issue” and then walks away. Keep in mind, I am still sitting in the waiting room she never once brought me into a room, and I was in shock at how unprofessional that was. After that, I looked at my sister and said I would never be going there again they are rude and unprofessional I am so lucky I have a vet that I love. I asked them before I left for a copy of the ultrasound and they said they are unable to send it to me until after my vet goes over it and for me to call them the next day. The next day comes around, and their website and voicemail say they open at 9 AM, let me know why I was still calling and getting the voicemail that they are closed at around 11:30 AM after calling them every 30 minutes. I am never the one to write reviews but I am just so shocked at how unprofessional this place is.

I thought taking my little Jimi Hendrix to a place with Peace and Love in their name was too good to be true, but they are different here. They made me feel a lot better about my current situation and I'm happy they're so close to home. I ended up in the hospital the next day with the same issue as my dog and I wish they could care for me too. I'll be relaxing with Jim in the meantime, see ya soon.

Peace Love Pets' entire staff is both professional and caring. They have treated my dogs for both minor and serious health issues. At all times my Golden Retrievers received the best possible care! I've always felt that I could ask questions and they have taken the time to be sure I understood what the treatment plans were for each of my dogs' issues. I highly recommend this practice if you are looking for exceptional veterinary care for your animals.

We have an 11yr old Black Lab mix who is everything to our family. We recently moved here and Peace, Love Pets is a new Vet for us. We never realized how much better pet care can be and the effect it could make on our dear boy. It's amazing their attention to detail and how many things our old Vet just never addressed. Our dog's behavior is more active and less itchy since going. He's definitely a happy pup and so are we :)

Dr. Baillie is an amazing veterinarian!Every visit we’ve ever had, she just connects completely with our two dogs and us. She sits on the floor initially with them, putting us all at complete ease. They only care about money not about there pets. They over charge and do not take medical emergencies seriously. They had me go to ER with my pet because they were closing in a half hour. my pet has been going to them for over 10 years. For approx 2-3 years this office has gone down hill. The receptionist and assistants are very nice but the doctors and the way they force you to come in just so they can charge you more. Manager Danielle was not helpful at all and they do not return calls and when they do they lie and say they said something different then they did and ofcourse require a visit even if your pet was in less then 6 months prior.Very disappointed in them, will be changing vets. You also can not post on the facebook page anything negative review because they do not approve it to be posted, they only want people to see the positive not the negative. Perhaps if you did you can learn from this and better your customer service to loyal and timely patients.

Dr Diane Levitan and her staff are amazing and have gone above and beyond any expectations in the treatment of our pet (and us) on numerous occasions.Our family understands the difficulty in finding someone you can trust and respect in the treatment of your furry family. We would not recommend someone without merit.You should choose Peace Love Pets - you will not be disappointed and your pet will be in the best of hands.
