The cashier that took care of me on register one was rude and nasty. She threw my bananas and my tomato into the cart without regard. She doesn't belong in customer service. She belongs in a stock room working alone so she's not around people. I called and talked to the manager to complain. Hopefully when I go back she's not on register. I watched her checkout the person behind me...she threw the canned goods into the cart like they were garbage. Customers do not appreciate this kind of treatment. She said that the cart was hers. The cart is not hers...it belongs to the store!

The staff has gone down hill and is rude and not helpful at all. They do not do their job of removing old sale tags and then refuse to give the price of the tags listed in front of the items. The door was driven into months ago and is still not fixed, so all customer traffic has to go through a single door while I was waiting to cash out the door broke and a small young child was literally holding the door up. A man finished paying for his groceries and ran to the help the young child and the cashier started yelling at him to put the door down thtlat he will just make it worse. This female cashier never even checked to see if the child was okay, just yelled at the guy for touching the broken door.

On Sunday 9/4/22, we purchased 6 steaks at a cost over $70. We brought them to a dinner party and they were so tough they were inedible. Went in today 9/7/22 and talked with Danielle and discussed the situation. She was not very friendly. Asked us if we brought the steaks back. How could we. Offered to refund one of the packages…about $20. I declined. The steaks were horrible. She stated that when they have “bad meat” there are usually many many complaints. Apparently they have experience with “bad meat”.

Manager was very rude as I was there 10 min before closeing. She was upset I walked in the door. I told her I just needed pizza, She told me two minutes to get my things and get out. I walked out with 7 min to spare and she locked the door behind me? Dont say your open till 9 if you close 10min till 9.

The North Collins Save-A-Lot is one of my favorite grocery store. It is clean, organized, and the employees are friendly and helpful. The number one reason I like this store is it's low prices. As of right now the store does not run a weekly ad. However, you are sure to find some awesome low prices when you go there. I always save money when I visit this store. I highly recommend shopping at this store.

Save A Lot is always great...worth the trip! I got a wonderful gift from a friend...a gift card to the store! Made it even better. The meat is always fresh and well presented. Workers are pleasant and helpful. Brand names are available as well as store brands. Great savings here!!!

Im from out of town but needed stuff for a party.. Grabbed up a cart and 4 boxes. Wandered the store putting things in 3. Got to the register and was asked to remove all items from my boxes. No problem but I just gave cashier 1 empty box. She tossed it in the cart and then threw my organized stuff off the belt anywhere in the cart. Ugh worse yet the people behind me only had a few things and she didn't make them take their items out and she repacked their box neatly

A place to go grocery shopping and get groceries for a reasonable price.. customer service from the workers was very nice and friendly. I was looking for a certain item and the person working that aisle was very friendly and helped me find what I was looking for.. you can find many kinds of meats,fruits,vegetables, noodles,breads,many can items,commodities,drinks and soda pop, coffee,candy and baking items are just a few things to name... check it out....

Everytime I've been to save a lot in North Collins, im always greeted with such kindness from the staff.It sucks that every time I shop there my fresh fruit and veggies go bad within 2 days after purchasing

Has all your basic needs met. Cashiers always have a great attitude. Would give 5 stars if they carried a few more things, but Tops, Wegmans and other stores have your specialty needs. They carry new products all the time too.

Store location is remote, prices "I think are higher" than other Save-A-Lot store's in more accessible to those in more populated area's.

I was treated very rudely and chastised for carrying my own groceries, because I hadn’t foreseen needing a cart when I came in, and then using the cart at checkout, even though I replaced it before I moved the existing one, to try and box up the items I just wasted my money on. After being told I’m rude and ignorant by a cashier, I don’t believe I or anyone who asks me will return.

Great Store nicely layed out and always organized with plenty of friendly staff always willing to help, Cheap groceries with some brand name items but mostly generic products, Great place for families on a budget. You bag or box your own groceries so bring bags or boxes or most of the time they have free boxes to use and you can purchase their bags for .10 cents each . Plenty of parking with handicap access.

Very good, good prices, more of a selection, then you would expect, nice big parking lot, and a new section for beer. We shop there every week. You have to load your own food, but savings is worth it.

If this is the one in north Collins the meat section is the best around... Big packages at good prices and take it home break UT down for more suppers... Meat section still best around

They had what we went in for. Prices are pretty decent. Food quality is also pretty decent. Its a small community grocery store. Staff is nice and friendly.

They rearranged the store - I hate when stores do that. The one big problem is that breads should have stayed where they were at the end of your shopping trip, not at the beginning...otherwise the new arrangement is okay.

It has great prices..just beware..bought pork sausage in the roll..when I open it it had a foul odor..also blueberries tasted funny..like a musty taste..will shop there for canned items..no more meats for us
