I am writing to complain about the poor customer service I received at your College Point Queens NY location on August 8, 2023.I have been a loyal Petco customer for over 13 years, and I have never had a problem with your grooming service before. However, on August 8th, I had a very negative experience at your College Point location.I made an appointment for my dog, a 2-year-old Alaskan Malamute rescue, to be groomed at 8:30 AM. When I arrived at the store, I was told that the groomer was running late and that someone else would check me in. I was not given an estimated time of arrival for the groomer, and I left my dog with another groomer and instruction what I needed for my dog.I don't know when the groomer arrived, and she never contacted me with any issues.When my husband picked up our dog, he was very unhappy with the groomer's work and attitude. The dog's nails were still too long. The groomer also told my husband that we should never bring our dog to Petco again due to our dog was aggressive/uncooperative/difficult to groom. This is not acceptable and horrible attitude. When I dropped my pet off, I explained to the other groomer that our dog was a rescue dog and this was our dog's first professional grooming session. We are loyal Petco customers, and we have never had a problem with your grooming service before.I would like to speak to a manager about this incident. I am requesting a refund for the grooming services that we were not satisfied with. I hope that you will take my complaint seriously and take steps to ensure that this does not happen again. I would like to continue being a loyal Petco customer, but I need to be assured that my dog will receive the quality of care that I expect when I bring her to your store.Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

I haven't had my pups groomed yet by Jenna, but I am really looking forward to it! Jenna was awesome when we stepped in with questions about their grooming packages, experience with dachshunds, etc. Jenna just has good animal-lover energy and happens to have a love for Doxies too, which was the best!!! Will update once we get services, but she specifically is who I want to see my dachshunds from now on!

This was my first experience with this Petco location, and I was extremely pleased. Jenna was amazing and did a wonderful job giving our XL girl a bath. It's not such an easy job wrangling such a large dog, but Jenna was unfazed, and even seemed to enjoy working with our dog. I will definitely return to this location and request Jenna as our groomer.

Wasn't sure what to expect when I brought my 5 month old puppy in for grooming at Petco. Happy to say when I picked her up I was completely Wow'd by how she looked. Joey was the groomer who took care of her and he did a fantastic job. He groomed her exactly how I wanted and she came out happy & prancing because she knew she looked good. Highly recommend.

I've been taking my little one for grooming with Rommel and he is fantastic! The first time I took her she was a little nervous but now she feels comfortable with him. I shop at 20th avenue and also at 75th street and both sites have very helpful staff. We are very satisfied with Petco!!!

Following are the reasons I was very satisfied with the service that I received from my last visit to PETCO. VIP service offered; therefore, my dog did not experience extra stress of being held in a cage. Romel was on time and he provided an excellent, short haircut as directed. I was very pleased with the experience this time. Thank you, Petco.

The staff was welcoming and warm as soon as we walked into the store. Kudos to the staff for being so knowledgeable and attentive, we just got a puppy and had a ton of questions throughout our visit and grooming and everyone was wonderful.

I would use other services. my puppy came out scratching her ears also when we walk in my puppy was crying when we saw her she wanted to get out of there immediately and usually when we take her grooming she’s happy to see us when we got into the car she was sad and dint want to drink water which is so weird she would always come happy and playing around.horrible service
