I stopped there on my way to Buffalo Ski Club to rent skis and all I can say is wow. The customer service and attention to detail is second to none. He went above and beyond for my 6 year old daughter!! I even needed a few screws for my board and he gave them to me for nothing. I will absolutely return for more equipment. Thank you again!!!!

Colden Ski & Board Shop is the absolute best. We have rented skis and boots for several years and also purchased several sets of skis. My daughter wanted a pair of hard-to-find boots to match her skis and Chris and Sarah went over and above to find what she was looking for! The service is beyond excellent, the price point is incredible and they even have rent-to-buy programs so you can try out skis and boards! It's incredibly convenient to have a local ski and board company where we can purchase ski accessories like ski helmets, ski goggles and ski facemasks, coats and even socks!

I have always had excellent customer service when visiting here. Everyone has a great attitude and their skis / ski equipment are top quality. As stated, their customer service is outstanding. They even went out of their way to help me get my skis where I currently live out of state. I couldn't recommend checking them out more! 5 star shop.

Chris, his wife and their team are always super nice and helpful. I stopped in this past week with a broken boot buckle, and Chris was able to make a very creative, servicable and very affordable fix within minutes! I’m so grateful I didn’t have to miss any ski days! Thank you very much, Chris!

I highly recommend this local ski shop. I was having difficulty finding the right fit for ski boots at a larger chain, and was totally exhausted after trying on about 10 different pair with no luck. Chris at Colden Ski Shop listened to what I needed/wanted, spent ample time with me, and we found the right boots after only a trying a few pair! Very friendly service!

This place is great! I have now been here 2x and have to say it is such a nice place to do business. Sara is so good at what she does and so cordial. She got my whole family fitted with exactly what they needed. My kids were going out for their first time and what she gave them was perfect. Much more reasonable price too then the slopes.

Excellent family owned Ski Shop. Nothing better than walking into a shop filled with the smell of fresh wax! Rented ski's for my son who is just starting out. The equipment was up to date and in good condition. The owners Chris & Sarah are extremely nice, but more importantly knowledgeable, and talented. I haven't been out in years, and my ski's were in rough shape. Even with pitted edges Chris did an excellent job tuning them up for me. They felt great even on a warmer day.

Incredible place! After a long hiatus from the slopes, I’m ready to get back into snowboarding and I was really in need of all the things. I decided to do a seasonal lease for equipment and I couldn’t be more pleased with my decision to rent from this store! My experience from start to finish was great! They were so helpful, kind, and non-judgmental. I was able to tell them my skill level (which is basically outdated and feeling like I’m starting over) and they patiently guided me towards an appropriate snowboard for my needs. I needed new clothing, helmet, and goggles too and I was able to easily find all of these things and am super happy with my purchases! The other thing to note is that the store was really busy tonight with people coming in to be fitted for rentals. They handled the rush of customers with grace and ease! Super impressed with that alone!

Sara and the crew are some of the best people on earth. They really care about the customer and they do what it takes to make sure you’re happy. We’ve rented a half dozen times now from them and by far the best customer service experience out there. It’s good to deal with a mom n pop operation and I would recommend these people for all of yours ski and board needs.

Just bought my first board, boots, and bindings from them and had a fantastic experience! They helped me find exactly what I was looking for in my skill range and fully set up and adjusted everything to my liking. Their staff are incredibly knowledgeable and this is easily my go to place for anything regarding snowboarding and skiing.

Chris and Sarah have made all of my experiences here like I’m part of the family. Amazing customer service but never feel like a customer, rather their friend. Highly recommend stopping here for rentals and buying. They are so knowledgeable and I continue to bring my board for tune ups. What a wonderful locally owned gem. The owners personally and patiently walked me through the board options for my skill level. The boards were priced fairly.Some things like great customer service and education about your purchase you just can’t get online! Colden Ski & Board shop is the most helpful ski shop in the Buffalo area, hands down. Other places couldn't do better than a three week turn around for mounting bindings on my skis and charged a fortune. Chris had to order an extra part to fit my skis and still got them back to me in less than a week for half the cost of what other places in Buffalo wanted, and they did all that with the friendliest customer service I've dealt with in a ski shop. They're well worth a short country drive from Buffalo. 10/10

Colden Ski and Board Shop treated me like family since the moment I walked in. They helped me understand what I would need to start snowboarding as I had never tried it before. Their staff was well informed and avid snowboards/skiers as well. They were able to talk to be from a place of experience and never made me feel anything less than prepared with the decisions I made by the time I left the store. Since my first visit I have only been back to Colden Ski and Board Shop for any of my winter sport needs. Last year I decided to invest in my own snowboard and gear and they helped me find what products would work best together and would work with my price range. The owners of this shop are so welcoming to every new face they see. They were able to help me find boots that were the perfect style for me and in my size as well. My board was set up with expertise and customized to me. I will be back soon to get my board serviced for this upcoming winter. I could never imagine going anywhere else for anything snowboarding related after the numerous amazing experiences I have had after walking through the door. You can't beat this local and family owned business.

Spoke to Janet the owner over the phone she was wonderful and very caring. Spoke to Luke her son very knowledgeable about snowboards and equipment really got a good vibe. I made the trip to the store to purchase 2 packages and there were 2 employees there neither of witch were the owners and they were horrible to deal with. Between the two of them they could not make a decision had no idea how to deal with a customer and would not honor the prices of the website said they must be wrong. Fee bad for the owners they seemed like nice people but these two gave them a bad name in my eyes.

Janet and the other staff at this shop were awesome. We came in for seasonal ski rentals for our family, and they made it quick and easy. They had all the stuff we needed, and they were so friendly and easy to work with. Our new go-to place for ski and snowboard stuff!
