Absolute beautiful campground, the management staff is so accommodating and friendly. We were here for a weekend to enjoy camping after a long Buffalo winter and they made us feel so welcome. The level sites made set up a breeze, picnic tables were brand new and the customized fire ring added a nice touch to our stay. 5 stars and will be back for another stay.

What can I say besides what a wonderful camping weekend!The management; Steph & Mike were fabulous! You made checking in so easy and felt like we were right at home. The baseball diamond is a great amenity for the kids/teens. The site numbers all have a different animals which I thought is super cute. The lakes look beautiful. Can’t wait to come back in the warmer weather to enjoy the pool, kayaking & fishing! 🏕️🌭🔥Thank you again and see you soon!

Just recently purchased a travel trailer with intention to live in it after transferring my job out of state. Then life happened and transfers for my job were froze for the summer. I can’t rave enough about how helpful Stephanie was in helping me last minute transition my short term reservation for Colden Lakes Resort into a seasonal one easing my initial panic and answering all of my concerns. I can’t wait to spend the season here in my new trailer with such an amazing and supportive staff!

Resort is peaceful and very well cared for. Only minor negative is that wash machine was out of order. But made lemonade out of lemons. Went into EA and did our wash at laundry mat across the street while visiting Bar Bill’s. Can’t hate that! Lots of amenities at resort especially for kids (play ground, Gaga ball, baseball field and soccer field in addition to big pool and kiddie pool). A hot tub would be icing on the cake! Just know this resort is in the country. Closest grocery store is in East Aurora approx 9 miles but there is a dollar general a few miles away with a decent amount of grocery items.

This was my 1st time in a pop-up at a campground. I stayed for 2 nights. Colden Lakes Resort has very friendly & helpful owners and employees. The campground is very well maintained. We enjoyed the large pool w/ plenty of seating, sound bath special event, pig roast, and very talented singers. There were many picnic tables, covered and uncovered. There were ponds and playgrounds, too. I would definitely return!

We have stayed at Colden Lakes many times. I see many positive changes this year (2023) over last time (2019) New fences, new security gates, many new trees, pool area re-done with even a nice mural in boys pool room. Fresh paint everywhere. There were crews cleaning the sites every day... they were spotless, fresh level gravel with all facilities working. Miss the restaurant... but understand this might re-open in the future. Very happy with this last visit.

Danny and Flora are fabulous hosts! The campground was so clean and had amenities for all age groups to enjoy! We loved the ice cream (and doggie ice cream) and the use of the pavilion when it was raining. We were a close drive to Buffalo/Niagara Falls and were able to easily enjoy things like the zoo and aquarium. Thank you for a memorable stay! Go Bills!

Owners are super friendly! Campground was very clean and well-maintained. Sites were very nice — spacious and level. Electric hook ups are towards the front of the sites so if you have a longer camper, you may need an extension cord. Ponds are nice for fishing. Pool area has a large amount of seating, including small chairs for the kiddos! Pool is very clean as well. The location of the campground is perfect, with only a short drive to the city, but also a lot of small businesses to enjoy nearby.

We rented a camper here over Memorial Day weekend. Our family had the best time! I loved that the patio had gates to make sure my toddler stayed in sight! We loved that they planned events at the campground the whole weekend. My step son went fishing for the first time and did karaoke for the first time! So many memories made, we will definitely be back!

This resort was great. Flora was so nice ,helpful and patient with me as I tried to maneuver my 45' DP. The sites where level and long. They had 3 beautiful ponds ( little lakes) on the property. I will return here if we ever get back to Niagara Falls. Their prices are very reasonable..and you are only about 1 hour away from the Falls.

Danny and Flora are warm an welcoming!We so enjoyed our stay at Colden Lakes Resort. We stayed for a week in site #13 with our fifth wheel and truck. We loved the quiet and serene location. We took walks almost every evening. They have propane and we needed one of our tanks filled. They made it quick and easy. Our little dog, Harley, loves grass and there was plenty of it. He rolled and ran and totally enjoyed our walks. The pride they take shows in all the little things. The place is clean, well thought out and just lovely! We would definitely stay here again, if we are in the area! If you are going to Niagara Falls, this place is about an hour drive south. We loved it so much!

Had a wonderful weekend staying at the cabin at Colden Lakes. It was our first time there, camping with some friends. The cabin was clean, good size to fit up to family of 6. It was probably in the 40s at night and we were happy that the heater worked well. Kiddos had fun fishing and enjoyed the Halloween festivities, especially the trick or treat hayride. Everyone was very welcoming.

Great RV Park, that is kept in EXCELLENT Presentation!My only (would not stop me from coming back) concern was the roads to the park and the distance to restaurants and shopping.Owner was Very Helpful and She did an excellent job of accommodating Us!Highly Recommend.Walkability: Pool

What happened to the restaurant and bar? No weekly bands or entertainment. Disappointing.Good things; the people, the pool, the water, the fishing, the wildlife, the campfires and smores, and it was peaceful. Yes some are there to party but everyone was very respectful of others. Nice to see!Other bright spots, everyone is friendly, the grounds are kept clean, the camp store has things you might have forgotten AND THEY HAVE ICECREAM CONES & DISHES!Better yet, it's close enough to spend the weekend without losing most of it driving there and back. Check the schedule of events before making reservations if you're looking for scheduled activities.

We had a lovely time at Colden Lakes, especially in light of the fact that we were planning 4 days there and had mechanical problems with our truck and needed to stay 14 days! The grounds were beautiful and the staff was very friendly and our neighboring campers were friendly also! It was nice that the campground was level enough to ride our bikes two or three times a day to stay in shape! Thanks so much for the compassion during our extended vacation! With our daughter living in the area we will be back! Thanks Flora, Glory and Dan! We will definitely recommend Colden Lakes Resort!

The. Seasonal area is beautiful! The activities were a blast.The owners were nice but not helpful. We were weekenders on site 6. It was so small that our picnic table was practically under our neighbors slide and right next to their connections. TheSewer cap was stuck. When I called the office, it was recommended to shimmy it not that they would send help. Don’t be fooled by buddy pull. We did face our friends but all of our lines had to be pulled underneath the camper. My husband had to crawl underneath to hook up the sewer. Not fun.

We stayed at the luxury camper for a week. It was spacious and beautiful inside. The heated pool , playground and camp store (with ice cream !) were very close by. The kids loved fishing right off our deck . We rented kayaks from the camp store two days. I cannot recommend highly enough. We will be back next summer .

Colden Lakes is a beautifully maintained camping resort. The weekend sites are close together, but the RV/trailer pads are so level and smooth. Getting parked and set up was flawless. The pool was great and my daughter loved visiting the little camp store!! Her and her cousin were so excited about their matching shirts from the store.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Colden Lakes. The pull through sites are large, with picnic tables and fire rings. We had plenty of space and because we stayed Sunday-Thursday (most of the park has seasonal campsites) we had the place pretty much to ourselves. We did meet some great people, caught some fish, enjoyed the really nice pool area and visited the Erie County Fair. We would definitely return.
