STAY AWAY from Furever Friends in Wappinger Falls! On 12/24/23, we purchased a puppy for $2799 from FurEver Friends Hudson Valley (owner Bryanna Russo). Our experience with Russo and the business suggests that our puppy was from a puppy mill. First, Bryanna refused to reveal the breeder that she was using until we paid for the puppy and signed a contract. At pickup, handwritten paperwork showed a “breeder” named Jacob Zook in Lancaster, PA in an area known for its puppy mills. She promised that she would send pictures of the puppy’s parents, but never did. Second, Bryanna misrepresented the breed by falsely claiming that the puppy is an F1 Cavapoo, (50% Poodle, 50% Spaniel). A DNA test determined that the dog is an F1BB, that means that the puppy is actually 7/8 Toy or Miniature poodle, and only 1/8 King Charles Cavalier.Third, the condition of the store was absolutely disgusting and severely detrimental to the health of the animals. The facility is filthy, and smelled of feces. The puppies are on a dirty concrete floor that has cracks and is stained from repeated soiling by the animals.Fourth, the dog was sold to us without divulging multiple health problems. At pickup, we noticed a staph infection on the puppy’s genitals. The manager denied an infection, but our vet determined that it was indeed a staph infection. Fifth, after I signed the contract, Bryanna informed us that the dog had an ear infection, but falsely claimed that it was all treated. Our vet determined that his ears were actually filled with ear mites, most likely a result of being too confined with other dogs. Our vet also determined, that the puppy had a parasite: Coccidia. Shortly after that, the puppy began exhibiting coughing and GI symptoms, as well as substantial hair loss across his abdomen and hind legs. The vet determined that the puppy had Kennel Cough. A fecal check and diagnosed the puppy with Giardia, a highly contagious parasite that takes months to get rid of. Since purchasing the dog, he has never been around other dogs or in a kennel. Given the incubation period, the timing would be right that he picked it up from FurEver Friends. The astronomical vet bills continue to climb. She insisted she wasn’t liable for the cost of treating parasites but ultimately sent us a paltry $36 to cover the costs of the initial medicine. Since then we’ve spoken to a number of reputable breeders who adamantly said they would never sell a puppy with these issues, primarily because they keep their property clean and safe for the puppies they sell. I HIGHLY recommend you avoid patronizing FurEver Friends so you and your family can have a much better experience than we’ve had.

I came across a review that my mom did a few years ago and wanted to also give one of my own as Keith & Furever Friends has been the best, for years! My mom passed away a few months ago, and I took in her dog CoCo. I knew CoCo was always boarded with Keith when we were out of town and my mom always trusted him! So when I moved out of Cohoes to Colonie, I knew I wanted to start putting CoCo in doggy day care atleast a couple times a week while I work, my mom always worked from home so CoCo always had someone around. With me working in Hudson, between the commute and my work hours, I hate leaving her alone so much! Not only is Keith’s prices hard to beat but I can tell she loves it there, just from when I turn onto Saratoga St lol and Keith loves her too! He’s always super responsive if I message the Facebook and also whenever something like an emergency comes up, he makes sure to contact all his regular daycare people as early as possible to let them know that he won’t be open, or will be opening late! I always appreciate the heads up!! Would highly recommend Furever Friends for daycare or boarding!

Very pleasant experience for our Border Collie and us. Keith the owner made special hours for drop off and pick up on a Sunday. I would recommend them anytime you need to boarder your doggie.

Recently had my dog groomed here and he is an older pup. The care, attention, and sweetness that was given to my fur baby was amazing! He has trouble standing for his cut and they let him sit and be comfortable. ❤️ I would bring him here over and over again. We have also used them to board our dogs for vacations and have recommended them to our entire family. If you love your animals and want only the best this is the place to go.

Brought my 2 dogs to Fur Ever Friends for the first time. my little terrier is a diabetic and would not eat while being boarded. Keith went out of his way to buy fresh meat to mix with his dog food and my pup started eating. Keith is very knowledgeable and administered my pups insulin shots on time and correctly. Thank you for taking good care of my dogs

Keith and the staff were able to take my pup last minute and did a great job. Diesel normally doesn’t eat well when boarded and ends up losing weight but I explained this to Keith and the staff and they were able to get him to eat and not lose any weight.I would highly recommend for all your dog needs

I just picked up my dog from here, and they are absolutely fabulous. They had told me I could pick up the dog on Saturday from 1 to 5, but no one was there when I went, so I went this morning. The girl mentioned she had been sick on Saturday and someone was there for a bit, and they did not charge me for last night. My dog gets so excited when we pull up there. I will always be boarding my dog, who is 10, there. It is convenient to me and personnel (every one I have dealt with the past couple of years) are fabulous. I not told it was a cash only bussiness. I ended up paying for two days, when my dog stayed 31 hours. Okay I will live with that. But whe I realized my dog's toy did not come home with her I called to check on it. I spoke with th owner he said he would check and get back to me, he never did.

Our dog is OBSESSED with Fur Ever Friends---- and runs to the door to go in! The owners have been amazing since Day 1 - - and we feel so comfortable with leaving her with them! My husband often says she likes them more than us! We have utilized their daycare, boarding and grooming! If we could give more than 5 stars we would!

I have used furever friends as both a day care and for kenneling. In both instances. I have been happy and my Remi has been happy as well. I was nervous about leaving her as it was the first time, but she was well cared for my concerns were addressed when I checked in on her. She of course was happy to see me when I picked her up, but I am certain she had a great time while being cared for by fur ever friends. Thank you to all who gave Remi love and attention in my absence!

My Golden Retriever Sully has been going here since they opened their doors on May 1st 2019! From the constant love and attention to playing ball to the treats when leaving, they go above and beyond. Their business grew so fast that they had to add on and open a bigger daycare room for our pups. Sully always cane home tired before but now with the bigger room he’s literally exhausted when we get home. He hits that floor and doesn’t move for hours 🤣 Andrea and Keith have created a great, welcoming and loving environment for all dogs and I couldn’t be happier with what they have done. Brittany is the groomer and time and time again never ceases to amaze me with the wonderful work she does not only on my pup but others as well. I highly recommend Fur-Ever Friends to anyone looking for a daycare, groomer or boarding 💙

Fur-Ever Friends Doggie Daycare & More is a great place to bring your dog! They offer several services, they recently expanded so there are various sections, they are attentive, and clean. I have reached out to other daycares in the past that didn't respond. Staff here are very communicative. It is easy to figure out that they love pets! There is an outside play area as well for the dogs on nice days. Cameras are on to watch the pets. I highly recommend Fur-Ever Friends.

I brought our 3 year old cockapoo, Moose for grooming today. The store was clean, warm and inviting! He received a bath, fantastic haircut and nail trim. As a bonus he was able to romp and play all day with the other dogs in care. He came home wearing a cute bow tie and absolutely exhausted. The price was extremely reasonable and they offer a Veterans discount too! I am so happy to have a friendly family atmosphere for him instead of the sterile place we had been going! Give them a try you and your puppy friend will be glad you did!

I will start off by stating I have never used their services and I am using a new profile to protect my identity.I am a certified dog trainer and behaviorist. I was seeking a location to recommend to clients for daycare/boarding. I learned after talking with the owner that none of his staff are educated in canine behavior. Not even a trainer or manager. Not one. So upon reading the “fake” reviews I put two and two together.This is what I like to call a “price per head” daycare because that is all that matters.I always tell clients to steer clear of daycares that don’t have any educated staff. Sure, you will have some people who have never had a bad experience, that is true for anywhere however the risk of accidents and traumatizing experiences your dog will get are significantly higher. I am working with a client who used this facility and can attest that it is not worth the risk.Truth is, most dogs are able to handle interactions with others well as they are social and can learn from each other. Not all dogs are this way. If not handled correctly, dogs can develop severe anxieties that can easily be disguised as high energy, being playful or a dog that is a “rough player”. Those anxieties can become much bigger and more serious.I know he will likely respond with his generic, “fake review” or “I hope you get the help you need” response and that is fine. Criticism is hard to swallow when you think you don’t need to improve or you only care about money.It isn’t worth the risk. I promise.

These guys are amazing. We have been going there since day 1. My dog LOVES it there. We have tried several other local daycares, and this is the one we are sticking with! My dog starts dancing in the car when he recognizes that last turn we make when we are arriving. He jumps out of the car and DRAGS me in. He sees Andrea or Keith and JUMPS into their arms. He doesn’t cry when I leave like he did at the other places. They have a camera system so that I can peek in on him during the day. And I LOVE the Facebook live feeds everyday.We have also had him groomed there. He is little, but squirmy, so I can’t even imagine trying to groom him. :) But Britt always does such a great job. He looks and smells AWESOME when I pick him up. And he always has a little bow tie or bandanna in when we get him.We have boarded him there, as well - one time for 9 days! They are so loving and caring.I have recommended and will continue to recommend Fur-Ever Friends to everyone!

My girl Kona has been going to Doggy Daycare for about a month and absolutely loves it! They have huge areas for the dogs to play, someone is always attending to them, you can watch on camera and they go live on Facebook so you can check in on your pup! Kona comes home exhausted every time, but so excited to go back to play with her friends!! I have also used the boarding this past weekend and she did great! She has gotten a couple baths as well, and I was very happy with them both times! Andrea, Keith and their staff are wonderful with the dogs and the dogs seem so happy to be there!!

Best dog day care ever! The people are so friendly and it’s so reasonably priced. I would recommend this day care to anybody. They’re so flexible, offer so much and your pups will definitly come home exhausted from all the play time. I have tried out two other day cares and nothing is in comparison to this one. Spread the word and go give them a try!

I just moved to Cohoes and needed a daycare for my very anxious beagle to go several times a week as we adjust to our new location and routine. Fur-Ever Friends has been fantastic!! The owners are very friendly and professional, prices are very reasonable, and, most importantly, they take excellent care of all the dogs. I would recommend anyone in the area looking for a daycare to please check them out.

I’ve heard absolutely horrific stories about this place, but nothing tops this owners response to every bad review 🤯 instead of taking the time to perhaps transition these complaints to use as constructive criticism & improve their business, which clearly a lot of clients are not happy with. The multiple people i know who have dropped their dog off to you will never return.. & not being a repeat customer is a statement. If anybody was even considering using this facility, your unprofessionalism will certainly turn them away, which i can see it already has. “ I’ll pray you & this business “ .. you clearly need it. 🤦🏽‍♀️

I've been a customer since the place opened.What I did like:1. Despite what I am going to say, the owners do genuinely care about dogs.2. Rates are affordableReasons I no longer feel comfortable bringing my dog there:1. The place is absolutely filthy. Your dog will need a bath after every visit because it will reek of urine all over its body. Yes, it is expected that the dogs will smell after spending a day with other dogs in a day care, but my dog shouldn't have visible soil just from being inside.2. I have kenneled my dog there. I left instructions to feed my dog 4c a day of the food I provided. For the 2 day stay, I left 8 cups of food. When I returned, more than half the bag of food was returned to me. When I questioned them about this, I got a shrug and an insistence that the dog was fed the food I left. Clearly that wasn't the case, but they had no problem telling me they fed the dog as instructed despite seeing the bag they handed me and all the leftover food.3. The website claims there are cameras so you can watch your dog during the day. This is not the case. There used to be cameras, but not since the area where the dogs were kept was moved. The only cameras that exist are the ones for staff to monitor the facility. They continue to advertise there are cameras so you can watch your pup. They preach accountability. There is no accountability.4. I don't believe the dogs get water during the day. My dog chugs water as soon we return home. This happens every single time. I suspect they no longer have water available for the dogs to drink to limit the amount of cleaning they have to do. Since there aren't cameras there is no way of knowing.5. There was a dog fight in the facility. A dog required surgery. I could not get a straight answer when asked if the dog responsible for the attack was allowed to still attend day care. In fact, they tried to keep it hush hush, even acting like they had no idea what I was talking about. I saw the dog that was attacked. It was BAD.6. Some days they have 50 dogs and 1 person in the dog room. The workers have told me this.7. On two separate occasions, I walked in to get my dog. An attendant didn't even ask who I was and gave me a dog that wasn't mine. I could easily go in the facility and ask for a dog by name (they post the dog's name and pictures on FB) and could probably walk out of there no questions asked. That's what happens when the owners aren't there and young kids are in charge.8. They don't enforce COVID regulations. You can walk in and the employees/owners don't wear masks. Even customers come in to drop off and pick up their dogs without a mask and no one says anything to them.9. They have never asked me for updated vaccination records in the last yearI could list several other things that are personally concerning to me, but I'll stop here because these are the most important ones. What concerns me the most is that:A) I have been outright lied to by them on more than one occasion about significant issuesB) They have gotten very lax/carelessI don't trust them with my dog anymore. This is very sad for me to say because I used to be a huge fan of the place.UPDATE/RESPONSE TO OWNER:The owner responded that this is a "fake profile" seeming to pops up after many 5 Star Reviews. I have nothing to do with disgruntled neighbors. This feedback is legitimate and undeniable. I have been a customer since the onset and purchased several packages. Some of the things I wrote can sure be up for debate but there are many that are absolutely true and can be observed/confirmed by current customers:1. The dog that was attacked is named Emma.2. There are no cameras to watch dogs. This is an undeniable fact.3. I am guessing many customers are like me and have never been asked to update their vaccination records.I think you are both great people, but instead of seeing these things as personal attacks, use it as criticism to make changes.

I haven’t used the daycare only grooming services at this point, because someone is always at home with them. Anytime I have contacted them they have bent over backwards to get my dogs in. They have gone so far as to say, we can come and pick them up and offered to bring them home! They do an awesome job!

My Calvin is not a good boy (but he’s an excellent friend!). He’s a rescue, and definitely had some baggage. Taking him places is like taking your naughty kid to the doctor...no matter how you’ve “trained them” they do them. I’ve been pretty embarrassed taking him to be groomed because I’m certain people are judging my dog ownership when I leave. I did not feel that way here. I was put at ease, and Calvin did ok enough to get his toenails clipped and a bath.I also saw where the day care doggos go. There is a lot for them to do, they are well attended to, and they are treated well.I would definitely recommend!!

This place is absolutely disgusting. I had a friend work here and say she even had to bring the dogs to her apartment because they had no AC over the summer. Their own daughter even address their business years ago and admitted to the poor quality care. I won’t ever forget hearing those stories. They don’t take covid seriously, have zero filtration system for safety and just concrete floors that are so porous! This is low level pet care. I’d keep your dog far away from this dumpster fire

I recently had my 3 dogs at Fur -Ever Friends for several days. 2 of them also were groomed.The place and staff were very nice. My dogs were clean and so worn out from playing all day they slept all though the evening 😆.They jumped into my car the next day like they knew they were going.
