Gross. Syringe caps in the parking lot. Garbage all over the floor. Empty shelves. Shelves blocked with inventory. Lost employees. Shady customers. Whole place smelled.

Store is always dirty and disorganized. Product always sitting on floor in boxes, hardly ever put away. They rob you on their prices - I saw a quantity of baking pans sitting on the shelf. The price sticker under them said $3. I got up to the register, it rang up $7.95. I mentioned it to the cashier (MOST other places will give you the lower price since it was their error), and this cashier couldn't care less. Since I was in a hurry to get something baked at home, I purchased it still, but from now on I will go to the DOLLAR TREE in Cohoes, or the DOLLAR GENERAL in North Troy --- both very clean stores and customers are treated properly.

Don't know if being understaffed or poor employees are to blame but this place is a mess. Nothing is organized. Aisles are cluttered with inventory that hasn't been put away. Management needs to step up.

The store is absolutely filthy went in the other day. Everything is very disorganized. Big fat guy who works there started following us around. I yelled do we have a problem here. Took my phone out just in case. Never ever again will i shop at this store or any of the other store's.

This store is very unorganized. Items are everywhere throughout the store in or out of boxes and its constant everytime i walk in this store. Some items even outdated. Employees arent getting paid properly and management refuses to provide a corporate number for the employee to get their proper pay. Employees have their significant others whom are not employed by the company hanging out in the store throughout their shift. One employee who seems to be the only one doing anything pertaining the job is Stephanie. She was very generous and gave me the best shopping experience ive had in this store.

The store in Cohoes NY is dirty, inventory is blocking most of the aisles, most stuff isn't priced right. Yesterday, I looked diligently at the prices marked the shelf and the price I paid at the register weren't the same. For instance, jiffy mix was marked .65 and at register, it was .80. Bringing it up to the cashier was useless and this wasn't the only thing marked wrong. This is my last time in family dollar.

I'm rating Family Dollar 1 star because that's REALLY all they deserve, IF even that 1 star! From the MANY Managers they hire and fire, to the Cashier's that DESPISE the fact they have to work here, this store is the EPITOME of HORRIFIC customer satisfaction! The attitudes, the lack of inventory, the lack of staffing, and not to forget, the state of the store's lack of cleanliness, I can't BELIEVE this store is STILL in operation! I've been talked down to, made to feel stupid, etc by the Managers, both night and day, and the Cashiers for quite some time now! I ONLY come here because I don't feel like driving to Watervliet, where that Family Dollar is 100% BETTER than this Cohoes one! The Cohoes Family Dollar has an issue with keeping personnel staffed for ANY length of time! It's appalling and disgusting, and I can ONLY hope that FD Corporate takes notice of this review and investigates the state of this store and the people that work in it! The Cashier's make EVERY issue experienced the customer's problem and honestly, the Manager could care less! I think they've had 5 Managers in less than a year, I maybe wrong....Shameful place!!!! Shame on FD Corporate for NOT caring about their brand!

The one cashier was great she would go back and forth to make sure you had the right things the only problem was that they Didn't have any bags at all that sucked otherwise it was a nice little trip there and get a cashier like her was awesome the name tag said Moo I think she's outstanding

This store doesn't pay employees managers and assistant manager taking things right off shelf or from in the back room and using them. Also still haven't gotten paid worked there a month ,store manager is a scumbag and could really use a career change.

Showed up on Saturday 10/30/2022 at 945am as they are supposed to open at 8am. The doors were locked no signs. No one came around. If you closed for some reason you could have left an explanation.

I love this store every time I go in the employees greet me most of them know me pretty well, they are always kind and helpful with anything that you need. And are very hard workers. I would recommend this family Dollar for anybody that wants to go shopping for good deals and good hospitality

I needed a container for ice water with a handle and a straw coming out. Asked the girl behind the register where it might be she said on the back wall. Back wall is only 200 feet long and when I went to look for it , it wasn't there glad there was a stock clerk close by, asked him and he took me right to it.

Complete disaster. You can even see through the glasses. Dirty store. Not recovered at all and the employees lay back. No sweep or mop the floors. No name tag in both employees. Cashier was in the front waiting doing nothing. Is a shame see a store like that.

Thursday morning at 8am I waited at the door for it to open and lady comes to the door to open it to tell me the first hour is for seniors. Not another person in the parking lot and I only needed one thing. Made sense at bigger stores during the beginning of the pandemic but now it is ridiculous especially being there wasn't another person there. Should have let me in.. Now I won't ever be back.

Have been to nicer public restrooms, also, cashier had no mask on, prioritized the phone call on her earbuds more than her customers, was so rude. Talk about unprofessional.

Ok i like the. People that work there but tonight i bought 2 marble pound cakes that expired on september 10th 2019 its november 14th 2019 ...not happy my partner ate some of it she said it was gross

Most people know about Family Dollar and what they have to offer I usually go for the cleaning supplies one in particular is called awesome really good cleaner but they help is usually pretty friendly helpful

Cohoes store needs to get shopping carts. How do they expect you to shop. I live just down the street from the Cohoes store but go to Watervliet because of them not having shopping carts. Totally ridiculous.

Poorly stocked and organized, out of even items like soda, store is always dirty with stuff piled all over. Most of this chains other stores are much better organized and stocked and CLEANER.

Pretty good store if you need a quick stop for essential stuff. Could be cleaner
