This bakery is a local gem. Their bran muffin is the best I've ever had. Their sandwiches are world class. They sell a good brand of lunch meats and cheeses by the pound. Their employees are hand picked locals, friendly and hard working. Although the lunch period tends to be mobbed, the ladies serve the customers efficiently and quickly. The short wait is always worth it. They make their own breads. Always fresh.

While visiting upstate NY we googled “breakfast” and a handful of places showed up around us. Lucky for us we chose this place. Everything and everyone was amazing. Their food tastes like home cooked meal, service is great, friendly staff and very quick. Coffee and tea were also wonderful. We got some sweets for the way but went through everything shortly after we left because everything smelled so irresistibly yummy 😋. Well, we finished everything but wished we could go back. Will visit again next time and we’ll load up even more.

The selections here were numerous and the order process was simple and quick. The drink menu was simplified and easy to order from. I came here to get some work done on my laptop, but unfortunately they DO NOT offer wi-fi and I was not aware of that before arriving. This is my first time at the Bakery. I was very disappointed about that because it hindered my productivity. Otherwise, the food was delicious and the atmosphere both trendy and fun.

I was pleasantly surprised upon discovering a bakery that is world class in such a small town.First I tried the cinnamon rolls since they were as big as my head. I bought it in the morning and it was still warm and as delicious as they look! Holy Yum!Next I tried the cheesecake and carrot cake. 10/10 win for those two! So far so great!

Really great overall. Lots of sandwich options and seating, plus the nostalgic candy! My only critique is the lack of wifi. It was hard to get work done there.Dietary restrictions: Only 1 gluten free option and it was chocolate cake

An absolutely delightful college town bakery and coffee shop. Within walking distance from our airBNB, so hard to beat! The coffee was classic diner coffee, but the latte was pretty top notch. Breakfast sandwiches were awesome (although the bagel was pretty dense and bready; good, but if you're from NJ, it's not what you're looking for in a bagel).They also had deli goods and amazing looking baked goods. We'll have to stop in again!

Customer service the employees are great there's one individual that I asked for croutons and she told me they didn't have anything for the soup.I've been coming here since they've opened up and watch it grow to be very successful. But with her attitude she was not very successful for the restaurant nor for the individual that was only asking for croutons for the soup. A new employee went out above and beyond to get with someone else to navigate me to get me the croutons that I normally get with my soup. But as far as the atmosphere and all the other customers including myself and family we enjoy coming here and we're so happy to have you in our Valley. But the person that I'm speaking to I hope she reads this because her attitude was really poor for that place especially when we only have little places where to go to you need to keep up with a customer service thank you for the the employee that brought me my croutons and thank you for the new customer service rep that you have there cuz if it wasn't for her I was speechless

The food is good, but the staff needs to be trained more throughly on having good customer service skills. There is no reason a customer that is asking questions should get a rude tone of voice, or things like their food coming improperly made and squished. That is childish. Their online menu states both breakfast and lunch options are “served all day” but that isn’t true because they turn their grill off at 2. They should update their menu, and not act shocked people are not informed of this when it’s their error.Update: We tried them again and it got worse. They’ve updated their hash-browns to a cheap store bought version. They used to be made on a waffle press, and they were delicious. $10 for a bag of grease that has no flavor. We called to ask and all the manager could say was “those are our hash browns.” They shouldn’t have changed them.

Brick House has awesome soup and bagels with cream cheese. That's what I go for most often. However, they also have lots of other yummy things.It is a super environment and always decorated beautifully for each season. It makes me feel happy.Also, it is such a wonderful community oriented business. Their Summer 2023 promotion benefitted the Animal Foundation. Brick House gave the entire donation toward the animal's care.I bought the promotional cup and enjoyed the complimentary refills each time I visited. It even made me want to visit more. I hope they do it, again in 2024.I am also part of their reward program and often get free things from it. It brings me joy and makes me loyal.

This place is fantastic! The owner really cares about the quality of the food they produce here and has cultivated an atmosphere of hospitality that is so difficult to find in other similar locations. The price of the food is very reasonable! When you come visit, I would strongly encourage you to try one of their apple cider donwiches; it’s scrumptious. The bakery is so good that my family and I will make the 40-ish minute drive to come and eat here at least once a month or so. Not only is the drive from the city beautiful, the food at the destination is even better. They recently put some outdoor seating as well, with the little outdoor patio area being my son’s favorite. The little creek/stream’s gently running water with the mountains in the distance is extremely relaxing and peaceful. I couldn’t recommend it more; the place is beautiful in every season.

We had great expectations being a local bakery, only to be greatly disappointed. Ordered a cream cheese bagel and was the worst I have tried. Cold, hard (old?) and not toasted. Had to ask for another that I couldn’t even eat and took ages to be prepared. Sadly, a terrible place.

Best bakery in the area, hands down. Muffins, bagels, turnovers, croissants, cheesecakes, cookies, everything has been outstanding. Prices are reasonable and early morning day-old items even cheaper. Only downside is that the coffee is not good quality, so just go for the food!

Place is a joke! Came in this week, People come to get food from you because it’s a treat but it is insanely overpriced and the owner is so rude and ignores issues when presented. People will pay to go out of their way just to avoid going into a place they feel not welcomed!! Taking advantage of good people and their money. Fruit flys fill the dessert case and flys landing over rolls. Just gross and not managed correctly. Buyers beware!!

I love this place. excellent service, fresh baked goodies, cider donuts, tasty sandwiches made to order, hot dishes, and hot coffee. seating area indoors and out. owner operator is a great host. great prices. they welcome well-behaved service dogs. my must stop when visiting Cobleskill. my favorite.

My girlfriend and I decided to try this place for breakfast as we were in the area and the place looked nice. We ordered a breakfast sandwich and a bagel with cream cheese. The sandwich was poorly thrown together and sloppy and the bagels were stale and dry. The bagel with cream cheese wasn't even toasted (don't know who orders a bagel untoasted). When I reordered the bagel with cream cheese to be toasted it took far too long to recieve the order by the time we got it was a cold toasted bagel. Also the staff is not very friendly or welcoming, only getting one star because I couldn't put zero

I don't know anything about their baked goods, but this review is strictly on the iced coffee. I saw cold brew on the menu first, so I ordered that. Was told "we can't do cold brew" ... Might wanna take that off the menu. So I settled for iced coffee. Tasted horribly bitter and my first big sip I got a nice mouthful of coffee grounds. Paid $3.49 each and my wife did not even drink hers at all, straight in the trash.

Found this place on our way from Howe Caverns to Cooperstown. Every baked good looked like amazing. It's too bad I wasn't able to eat all of them. What we did order was very good.
