I grew up in Utica and every time I return for a visit I love to enjoy the local and regional delicacies, including maple sugar candy. I was pleased to see the area has a family-owned and operated maple farm! My husband, mother, sister, and I made the short drive to Clinton and met two members of the Shaw family who were busy making maple cotton candy and bagging one-day old maple sugar candies. They welcomed us into their shop/sugar shack where they offer a wide range of products. We left with a few bottles of syrup, candy, and dog treats. Overall we were delighted with the experience. I hope to one day return during sugaring season for the tour and tasting!

It was so fun to visit! We went with our local MOMS Club and it was a blast. The kids learned how say was collected and how syrup was made, then got to taste test lots of goodies! The shop was wonderful and had lots to choose from. Their maple tea is so good! The friendly staff went above and beyond for us, we can't wait to go again.

Local Maple syrup farm. Very helpful and friendly. They have a number of Maple syrup products. A little out of the way down a country road. Keep going and eventually you will find it.

It was like touring the maple industry in the middle of someone's living room!!! Quaint, small and bursting with that maple smell that males me wanna roll around in it. We learned a lot, as the Shaw family (& other customers) were super friendly. There were TONS of free samples including maple cotton candy and for $31 we walked out with maple everything. A maplicious experience😁.
