I am so glad I found Clinton Pet Vet. Dr. Price helped my dog with an IVDD flare up when her previous vet said there was nothing more he could do. The staff are all very friendly, caring, and compassionate. This vet is also privately owned, which is important to me. Dr Price also answers emails if you have questions or concerns about your pet. The prices are also reasonable. My little dog is doing very well now, thanks to Dr. Price.

Beyond the worst vet I have ever been to. I tried my best to give this place a shot and to enjoy it since it's close to home, however after a few months, we decided to switch vets and it was the best decision we ever made.It seems like Dr. Price is never in the office. Every time I called with a concern for my pup, their response was always "the vet isn't in today, so there isn't much that we can do.". The staff was nothing but rude and unprofessional every single time I called and it took weeks to get a simple copy of my dogs record to bring to the new vet.My opinion, they need to bring in at least a second vet to cover when Dr. Price isn't in the office, which seems like every single day.They also need to revamp their staff and get a more professional/respectful staff on hand.Personally, 10/10 would recommend making the longer drive to Waterville Vet. I've had nothing but an amazing experience there with top notch care. If I stayed at Clinton Pet Vet, I fear my dogs health would've been greatly jeopardized.

Dr. Price and staff take their time and are friendly and patient with my 3 rescue pups. You can tell they really care about each pet they see. I wouldn’t trust my pet care to anyone else. Dr. Price and her staff are the best!!!

I had a difficult time trying to decide where to take my cat, because he means the world to me and I wanted him to have the best of the best to care for him. My husband ended up choosing for me, and picked Clinton Pet Vet.I am happy to say he picked correctly. My poor fur baby was diagnosed with kidney disease. They advised how to care for him, even though he was stressed and didn't make it easy for them.Yesterday we called the vet after seeing he was unwell. Dr. Price got us in within an hour. My poor baby went into kidney failure. While being honest about his condition, everyone there was still genuinely caring. You can tell that everyone there is in the right profession, caring for people's fur babies.He had to be admitted for a minimum of two days and the care they took is above and beyond and made an extremely difficult thing just a little more bearable.I hated to leave him there but felt very comfortable that they would take good care of him and do everything they could.I appreciate this entire office and can't say enough good things about them.ETA:My baby never made it back home. But I know without a doubt they did everything they could. They let me have as much time with him as I wanted to say goodbye. Their genuine care, concern, and attention made something completely unbearable as bearable as possible.

I first went to Clinton Pet Vet when my dog Shayna had cancer. The other vet said they couldn't treat her. Dr Price had so much compassion and tried what she could. When it was time to let go she told me to take her home and love her. My dog got up and walked over to Dr. Price and licked her and then went to the door to leave. It was like she agreed with her. We have since gotten another dog and the whole team is wonderful with him. Kirby loves going to see them. I would give higher than 5 if I could. Thank you Dr. Price and all the team!

I loved the service provided to me and my dog, she was really really sick I thought she was dying on me, and I called every vet to take her in for an emergency check up but the only place that opened their door for us in such a short notice was Clinton pet vet! I was really short on budget but they took care her of her regardless of that, made her feel so much better and alive again, she looked like a totally different dog! I’ll be forever grateful with everyone at Clinton Pet vet, they’re awesome in every way possible!

Oliver has given Clinton Pet Vet an all paws up rating. He was in to have some dental work done and found the service and quality of care outstanding.We found the staff very nice understanding and just a pleasure to deal with.

More than once I have had issues with rude staff on the phone. When challenged, they refuse to let me speak to the owner and they won't give messages to her.This last issue was after I lost my kitty, and they showed absolutely no compassion as I tried to set up a necropsy and cremation. Since he was never seen by them they refused to set up the transfer for me (necropsy has to go through a vet office). The girls were rude, uncaring, one laughed at me when I could not understand why they wouldn't help me.DR. Price did nothing when she learned of the issues. I do not recommend this place

I've adopted 3 of Dr.P's rescue kitties. Sadly my Elvira got very ill a few weeks ago and passed. All of my kitties see Dr P and her crew. I won't take them anywhere else.

STEER CLEAR!Dr Price chooses to hire and keep unprofessional, demeaning, rude and arrogant staff.At this clinic expect to be belittled and have your questions and concerns diminished.This is not a single occurrence but a two year ongoing series of events.The clinic takes on more than they can handle , consistently makes it feel like your problem , and takes all emotions of the day out on the clients.Filing formal complaints with all overseeing associations.

Our first time visiting Clinton Pet Vet. The staff are wonderful, caring people. My dog was in distress with pain and they handled her with care and respect. I received the assurance I needed, and we went home with a plan and some meds. Dr. Price took her time and answered all my questions and explained everything to me. I will recommend Clinton Pet Vet to anyone seeking care for their pet.

We had a cat that fell ill suddenly. All the other vets wouldn’t touch him. Clinton Pet Vet not only took him in but they took amazing care of him. Especially during COVID.Sadly he passed from his illness but the staff was extremely caring and supportive through the whole experience. I couldn’t recommend this place more.

I was just now going through the reviews here. I had to stop, in disbelief, at the negative comments. I am so sorry for the few people that left thoseremarks because you don't know them like I do. Dr. Price is wonderful, the staff are a group of sweet people. They are all very compassionate. When my very loved ferret, Stinky boy , went there, (he had cancer) he was treated like royalty. They would even give him spa treatment, trim his nails, do some ear care... The night before Dr. Price had to put him to sleep he had seizures all night. I called them very early in the morning. The lady stayed on the phone with me for a long time. I was taking his condition hard and the lady stayed on because she was concerned for me. My other ferret children go there and they receive great care by a wonderful and caring team! ♡

I can't begin to say how grateful I am to cpv and doctor price my dog Max was in kidney failure and nobody around me wanted to help Dr Price was the only person that took him in and cared for my dog even when she knew I was struggling financially she still saved my boys life and they were so busy that day and still stopped what they were doing to save my boy I am so eternally grateful to her and I highly recommend her to anyone in an emergency or just for regular care because that's a doctor that truly cares about animals and loves and has compassion and understanding for people in hard times thank you guys so much you really don't know

Would not recommend this shelter/ Vet to anyone. Misled for over a month with their adoption process only for our approval to be ‘reconsidered’ because we inquired about when we could bring our cat home. After being told week after week a new date and scenario a new excuse came up from the vet and shelter until our approval turned into a denial. Completely unprofessional. Rude staff making you feel unworthy and unwelcome when you are trying to RESCUE a pet for your family. Instead they would rather let their cats be caged for hours on end than to a loving home. If you are considering adopting from this shelter don’t call to check in as you will be judged and they will not allow you to adopt because ‘they are being rushed’. If you are considering the vet I would recommend looking elsewhere as the Vet staff was rude and unpleasant to speak with. It seems the Vet is taking on more than can be handled by a single person.

Dr. Price and all of the CPV staff are awesome! I have been taking my pets there for many years. Even after we moved from Clinton several years ago, I still make the 45 minute drive for visits. I will never trust anyone else with my Lola! We love them!

I'd like to thank all of the staff at CPV for saving the life of a super sweet cat who had an emergency urinary blockage. I didn't have the money to pay for the surgery, so CPV stepped in and allowed me to surrender him to the shelter so they could save his life. I will forever be grateful. They help in any way they can. Great, caring, kind people. Thank you CPV staff!!!

Absolutely disgusted with the staff and Vet at CPV/Shelter. Save yourself the time and trouble before thinking about rescuing a cat from here, they will make you feel uncomfortable, unwelcome, and unwanted. My wife, son, daughter and myself found a cat we were under the impression was coming home to us over a month prior to us suddenly being denied of adopting AFTER being approved. We originally applied for 2 cats and got a call that one had died from a very contagious parasite. A couple weeks past and we called to check in after being told our cat would be ready to go home at a certain date apparently that is not acceptable and they will call you rude and in turn rescind your approval. I had already installed doors, purchased litter box, food dishes, food, toys, cat bed, etc and assured my children he would be coming home. Everyone there should feel ashamed, they are heartless, I have to tell my son now that our 'twosocks' will not be coming home anymore. This behavior should be unacceptable in this business. I feel horrible for the animals who have been denied a family and a great home. The application process is a joke, it is a power trip from the shelter 'president'. 'Mare' doesn't belong in charge of anything let alone dictating animals futures. After being ignored and put down by her. I see clearly that she has made a fool of herself and this whole 'business'. The staff at the Vet office should re-train in customer service as they do not belong caring for people or pets.

Dr. Price is really good and helped my dog like no others have! Unfortunately we had to switch because of a staff person, not a (vet tech) to this day, the most unprofessional, miserably rude person I have ever had to deal with. I was shocked and thought she was joking? She wasn't and that was it. My wife and I were in shock. And please don't leave me a ridiculous response.

Dr Jessica is amazing and caring. She addressed some issues with our baby boy dog, and he is on his way to recovery. Far more reasonable in comparison to some local corporate vets and shows love to your pet's.

Lizzie, my Australian Shepard, was acting listless on Wednesday. All of a sudden, she screamed and flopped over. I called Clinton Pet Vet and was told to bring her right in. I was in a panic because Lizzie became septic last year. By the time I arrived, she was having a seizure. They were ready at the door with a gurney to carry her in. After many tests, it was determined that Lizzie had Addison’s Disease. Dr Price kept her there for three days, as a precaution. When I picked her up yesterday, she was pretty much back to her old self. Dr Price took the time to explain to me what meds she would be taking from now on, and that she would be receiving shots every month. The staff there is amazing. They really care about the animals that come in, and work tirelessly in getting them well again. To me, Dr Price and her staff, are “PRICELESS!”

I have been taking my dogs to COV for several years now. I switched from another local small vet office for a number of reasons. I have had countless great encounters with the staff for routine exams as well unexpected pet illnesses. I greatly appreciate being to use an app to communicate with staff for non urgent matters. And when one of my fur babies had declined significantly and was clearly at his end of life, the staff were extremely caring and compassionate. I am very happy with CPV.

If I could give this vets office no stars I would !. My parents have been bringing their animals here for years. Their senior dog 15 1/2 years old was not doing very well he stopped drinking water and eating he was very confused and would hide in very bizarre spots in their home. They stayed up all night with him to make him comfortable. They truly loved him with all their hearts! The vet refused to put their animal down . Again he wasn't doing good at all. They told them they could never bring a dog their again because they don't put down healthy animals. That is the most awful thing to say to someone going through this with an animal!!mind you my parents are in their late 70s learn some empathy people!!

I’ve been going to CPV for a few years now, they are so nice!! The staff will go out of their way to help in anyway that they can! Whenever I stress about something my cat is going through, I always leave the clinic feeling relieved! They’ve been super accommodating, especially through the pandemic!
