Diner breakfast of my dreams! This is exactly what you look for in a perfect diner breakfast. Crispy salty bacon, perfectly cooked runny eggs and delicious home fries. Unlimited hot coffee with little cream packets. And of course a big blueberry pancake with tons of butter.Don’t miss this spot if you love American diners! Cozy inside and the baked goods looked great. They also have an extensive coffee menu. Such a gem.

Love this place for breakfast and lunch! They sometimes have a wait but recommend sticking it out. Service is great and food is good.I ordered the blackberry lemonade almost every time we ate here and was always satisfied.Their tuna sandwich is very tasty and has less of a focus on mayo and more on tuna content. All the ingredients have been consistently fresh. In terms of breakfast, they have a great breakfast wrap and I recommend getting sausage links inside them. As for omelettes, I recommend going with their predetermined omelettes if you're looking for quantity as we've found the predetermined ones are usually stuffed with more filling. Also, get their homemade bread as your toast!!

My husband and I visited here for lunch during our vacation to Alexandria Bay. They were very busy, but we were able to get a table outside. The outdoor tables and chairs were very sturdy and comfortable (almost like a bar stool and Adirondack chair combined). My husband ordered an iced coffee and The Cougar sandwich with jalapenos on the side and sweet potato fries. I ordered the chicken fingers with chips. The service was a little slow, but we didn't mind, especially since all of the tables were taken. The sandwich was delicious, but I was underwhelmed by the chicken fingers. It didn't come with a sauce so I asked for a side of bleu cheese, but I was halfway done with the meal before I got it. The bleu cheese was delicious and made the chicken fingers better, but they had the appearance of fish sticks, which made them seem a bit weird. Overall, it was a great experience for a reasonable price. I loved being able to sit outside!Parking: Depending on the time of the day, you may have a touch time finding street parking. We parked about a quarter of a mile away, but we wanted to walk throughout the heart of Clayton so we didn't mind.

Great little local restaurant for food. Been multiple times for breakfast and it is very good. Stopped for lunch and was not disappointed. Service is always fast and friendly. Beautiful setup with both indoor and outdoor seating. One of the few options in the off season months.

High quality breakfast at great prices, the Koffee Kove should be on your list when you visit Clayton! The food is so delicious- no frills hearty breakfast. The chocolate chip silver dollar pancakes were my choice and they totally hit the spot. Or, if you've got a big appetite like my brother, try the Muskie Meal with eggs, meats, and either a pancake or french toast on the side! The portions are generous and the staff are kind! Wouldn't be a trip up North without a stop here 🙂

Very busy little place. The food was good and the service was friendly. We have now had breakfast and lunch at Koffee Kove and both were delicious. My coffee cup was never empty and the food was served promptly and hot! I chose a BLT on Rye bread and the girls had tenders and fries with sides of gravy. Two 👍👍up!

The French toast was amazing, however I asked for my eggs over hard, got them over easy and when I said something the server said that she wrote down over easy instead of saying I am sorry and just getting what I asked for. The home fries were too hard. My son and husband liked it but I was truly disappointed I did not get what I asked for.

My wife and I went here for lunch today. We visited for the first time in the fall. Then the kove had an awesome vegan menu!!! Today we were told the new management decided to end the vegan menu. Bad move. The fries were good but the black bean burger was not very good. We love the atmosphere, the service, and the location in Clayton. Consider this a desperate plea to bring back the vegan menu!!!!

We go here about once a year and this year 2021 they killed it again. The breakfast is served until 1pm then the lunch takes over. We love the interior decor of maps of the river and famous catches on the wall. The cove is great in winter ( non tourist season) because they have a quaint little wood stove and its like something out of a hallmark Christmas movie. I highly recommend this very inexpensive spot for everyone!

I am from Toledo, Ohio and stopped for breakfast twice. People were so kind, fast, very cordial, and the food was so delicious. Jacob Rosado p.s. 8 day vacation was so beautiful and can hardly wait to come to Clayton, New York again.

Koffee Kove Restuarant offers a variety of dishes from egg sandwiches to full dinners. The pot roast dinner is delicious, and pancakes are great. My favorite is the cinnamon buns which are fresh, and light.

Good breakfast and lunch options - caters well for vegetarians and vegans. Burgers and salads we tried were delicious. Quick and friendly service. Just be mindful of the wait - we had to wait for about 30 minutes (party of 9!), which was not a problem given the scenic location of the restaurant close to the St Lawrence riverfront.

We popped in for breakfast after an overnight stay in Clayton. It was early and the lower part of the restaurant was already full of locals, all senior gents. My friend and I seated ourselves on the upper level and were immediately given hot cups of coffee (with unlimited refills, BTW). We both ordered the Crabby Patties... eggs Benedict served on crab cakes instead of English muffins. These came with home fries. Everything was cooked perfectly and was a wonderful start to our Sunday morning!

This place delivered great things every time. Dinner specials were perfect and yummy. Scalloped potatoes and ham. Haddock dinner - good! Broiled chicken breast.... yummy!! Breakfast was the same. While the place was VERY busy, they worked hard to make you welcome and comfortable. Had a bit of a wait after seating, but, again it was understandable. The food made up for the wait!Parking: Handicap parking out front! Just about 10 steps to the door!

Very good food but that's what you would expect from a place that has been there 47 years. They are experts in the comfort food. A good filling breakfast at a reasonable price. Was happy with the selection.

Have been going to this spot for many years and the food and service is always excellent. I always get a type of eggs Benedict and they are all amazing, my boyfriend's daughter got the chocolate chip pancakes and they HUGE. We always have a big group and they accommodate for all of us to be next to each other just at different tables so that's always nice. If your ever in Clayton stop at this place you won't be disappointed.

Food was delicious! I had the veggie benny, my husband basic breakfast and my kids split the sliver dollar pancakes and French toast sticks. Food was great, and I’m picky about breakfast foods. We went on a Thursday morning and it was pretty busy, we sat outside tho and got waited on right away, little bit of a wait but understandable since they were busy. We will definitely be back next time we’re in town!
