5pm special Thai shrimp curry with a glass of wine early bird special with salad! The price was good but the meal was great. Black rice and julienne pea pods and carrots accompanied the curried shrimp. I was very surprised. Service was great as well. Thank you!Food & drinks: Superb

Good, not great. Wife and I had the same dinner.Spring Roll App pretty tasteless, salad tasted great, bread was great. Filet was cooked well and tasty but very dry, baked potato was over cooked, skin very tough. A bit expensive. Nice vibe. Great waitress.Might go back and try something else.

This is our prefered dining spot. Easily some of the best, if not THE best food in Clayton! The staff is great, (Shout out to Shannon and Tricia),the establishment is clean, & the food is well seasoned, hot & fresh. The dessert are home made and decedent. Will definitely be back next year!

Rooms were nice, clean, bathroom small, but nice water pressure. Excellent love That they had a refrigerator and microwave .coffee pot too. staff was amazing, thank you, Mandy you rockNearby activities: Clayton's boat tours and shopping. It was greatFood & drinks: Restaurant right there. Was amazing. Roasted portobella mushrooms chicken Alaska & chicken Alfredo salads and white chocolate raspberry bread pudding. A+++++

The staff was great and we were seated immediately. Loved the atmosphere. A bit expensive for the food quality. Seafood tasted like it’s been frozen for a while but the key lime pie was pretty yummy.

We ate there twice on our vacation and the food was amazing! The second time, our waitress was in too much of a hurry. I realize they are busy, but taking an extra couple of seconds with the customer is so beneficial.Food & drinks: Excellent food and drinks.

Wow. An amazing evening with appetizers, main course I enjoyed the pasta special and my wife had the Boston cod. Dark n stormy cocktail just like I make them at home and finished off with crème brûlée and 2 spoons. Our best meal on our holidays. Thank so much Trudy and staff.

Had a great meal. The server was fantastic. My prime rib was roasted to perfection and the au jus was delicious. Davey's locker had everthing cooked perfectly. Excellent food, excellent service, great ambiance!Came in for an anniversary dinner and we’re very happy with our whole experience. Our server was familiar with the menu and very friendly. We could tell she really liked working there which is a good sign.We had a reservation and came in on a Friday before the big rush right at 5pm.I had their prime rib (large cut) and it was awesome! My wife had their Boston cod and she loved it, too. They serve warm bread with dipping oil when you are seated, which is a nice touch. We each had their roasted veggie side and they were really good as well.The final nice touch was the fact that they brought out a complimentary dessert since it was our anniversary.Great meal, great service - great place to eat!!

A month ago I enjoyed a really great prime rib meal at the restaurant. Yesterday evening, I went back for an another prime rib, and it was very disappointing. Not tender or tasty, and overdone.

The rooms were great, not fancy, but nice and clean. The staff was friendly. It wasn't on the water, but I just need a place to stay while doing things in the area. The attached restaurant was amazing!!!! Highly recommendedWalkability: Not really close enough to Clayton to walk around.Food & drinks: Amazing food!!! Great gluten-free dishes!!! The food and service are always top notch and each visit we get to know the very talented chef/owner a little more as he never fails to drop by our table to ask how we liked our meal. We are trying to make it in at least monthly as time permits.

We were at Clipper on Saturday 7/31/21.The drinks from the bar were the best I have ever had.The appetizers were fantastic, and all main courses we had (5 people) were great. The best part of the entire meal was the desserts. I highly recommend the Key Lime pie. It was like nothing I ever tasted before.The Staff was great and service was excellent, and prices were reasonable.We will be back. Thank You to the owner for this greatDining experience.

The restaurant at the Clipper is fantastic! The seafood pasta and steak were cooked perfectly & delicious. Service was good, too! Took off one star because we did stay at the hotel portion for 3 days and our room was extremely dirty. Dust & cobwebs/little spiders everywhere in it. However, nice quiet location. If you're just looking to eat at the restaurant - I highly recommend it!

Discovered this little gold gem back in 2001. Been coming to eat here every year sometimes a couple times a year. Never had a bad meal. Food is amazing every single time. Recommend to everyone when they are traveling to the Clayton area!!!!
