This place has awesome pottery ! From bowls to nick nacks! It also offers Sperry shoes for very reasonable prices and is located right on James street in the heart of Clayton NY. They are constantly running sales on clothing items or souvenirs to take back home with you! The artwork outside on the side of the building is magical it really looks like your starring at the St. Lawrence river!

This is my moms favorite store. I can honestly say the Mrs and miss living in Clayton but we’ll be back for the summer for sure! If you go to this store don’t look at price tags because you’ll be like me and realize the Fulton Steamboat painting that would be perfect in an office or business floor room was bought up because I waited a day. Don’t wait!! These are local artists who bring life back and bring life in to their work. The money you give them goes to food, rent, supplies, marketing, a split with the store. So if you see something you know you’ll forever have a story behind and cherish, BUY IT.

This shop has a great selection of Sperry shoes. The people her provide fantastic customer service. I have been shopping here for several years and hope to do so for many more!Must visit!!!

Every year I always stop in to buy some Woolrich clothes. Note that the photos as posted by Jessie Shoshone are definetly NOT of the Clayton Trading Co. They appear to be from the St. Lawrence Gallery which is further up the street.

Lots of nautical themed clothing and a large detection of Sperry shoes. There are plenty of St Lawrence river shirts and similar suvaneirs.
