Very disappointed this trip. Aisles cluttered with boxes, couldnt get to some aisles without walking around. Some not accessable. Never have seen this place in such disarray.

I was looking for a particular yarn that the app implied was in the Clay store. When I went to buy it I was unable to locate it and was promptly told by an associate that if it was yarn.. she could not help me as they are only getting out Christmas items. And furthermore they are short handed she implied she had no time to stock the yarn. No apology was given and she was very rude!!!I shop in this store VERY OFTEN! No more!They just lost my business thank you very much! 😠

Very good selection; actually the only place locally to find many crafting things. However, every time I've asked to speak to JoAnn, the employees here tell me she's not in that day. It seems either they won't let you talk to her, or she's on a very very long vacation.

The workers are nice…. When they’re open. I’ve gone there twice in the past week to pick up stuff for the holidays and they have been closed both times. Both times I went at 6 when I got out of work and the hours say they’re open much later than that. Very disappointing :/

I went to the store at 755 on a Friday where the store said they close at 9 and they closed early. I feel like if you are going to close early it should announced somewhere.

My favorite place for yarn. The manager here is such a sweetie and all the staff are helpful & enthusiastic. Stock is always kept up with and sales are fantastic. Staff encourage you to save money which I just love. Burning through my stash so I can come back for more!!! they also ALWAYS have the DMC thread I'm needing for new X stitch (selection is spotty at most stores).

JOANN Fabrics and Crafts is one of the best craft stores! I can never walk out without a cart full of items!For starters, the fabric section is incredible! They have everything you can imagine from faux fur to sequence. The prices are very reasonable and the sales are fantastic! The same goes for yarn.They have a spectacular selection of holiday items (all holidays!) Unlike some other stores, these items will go on sale before the holiday even starts, but the fantastic savings come after (usually 80% off!)They have a great selection of kids toys and crafts that you can't find in other places. Coupons (that are always available online or in the paper) get you amazing deals on these toys (or any other non sale item in the store).I have recentally tried the Buy Online Pick up in Store option and I was very pleased with the simplicity and speed of the process.Both kids and adult classes are offered for a small fee and are very interesting, informative and fun.I just love JOANN's. They have everything I need, and even more that I want!

Normally I would give this Joann store 5 stars and I know it's not their fault, but they were very low on stock. Covid, of course!! I went in to get some mica powder for a project and they had none. I did pick up a few other supplies though like a double sided glue tape dispenser and some Golden Gloss medium. I used a 40% off one item coupon on found on line on my phone.

I WOULD GIVE 0 STARS THE GUY NAMED SCOTT AT FABERIC CUTTING XCOUNTER IS EXTREMELY RUDE HE YELLED AT AND INTIMIDATED MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER AND HER FRIEND THEN I WENT IN TO GET THE PROBLEM FIXED AND HE THEN PROCEEDED TO YELL AT ME SAYING THEY CAN NOT CUT 2 2YRDS OF FABRIC CALLED MY KID AN IDIOT FOR NOT ASKING FOR IT CORRECTLY MY DAUGHTER HAS ENXITY TALKING TO PEOPLE I THINK IT WAS BRAVE OF HER TO GO AND TRY BUT THIS GUY WAS A JERK AND IF YOU HATE YOUR JOB THAT MUCH THEN DONT WORK WITH PEOPLE to bad it won't let me up load the last little few min of the video do not go to this store if this guy is here should have went to hoby lobby

I have never gotten so many confused and nervous looks from older women as I did that day. For some context, I was constructing 2 8 foot tall reapers for Halloween because why not? Needed fabric. My girl Joann always has me covered (no pun intended). Long story short, I purchased 9yds black fabric and 32 LED tealights and was not in fact conducting a sacrifice/seance. It was for halloween decor, I swear. Picture attached for those interested in the results.

the cashier was rude when I asked about coupons. last time I was there the cashier helped me load the coupons on my phone, however this woman got attitude because I mostly had sales items so coupons wouldn't be applicable. she made me feel bad for even asking

Love their display of New Look Simplicity patterns on racks for easy viewing. Visiting from California. Found scrubby yarn hard to find in my city right now. In CA all coupons that apply are rung up. Wasn't happy in Clay only one can be used according to employee there.

The employees are always rude and miserable. Especially the woman with shoulder length brown hair that I dealt with tonight.Their stock is ALWAYS wrong. I go in every few days to get supplies for my etsy, and EVERY SINGLE TIME it says they have items on their website/app and I get there and they are not actually in stock. I have even had employees tell me their system is often incorrect.I am so tired of dealing with this awful store. I have tried looking for other options and unfortunately some of the supplies I use are Joanns only stock. If this wasn't the case, I would never return to this miserable place.

I love this store! Actually, I visited the Husqvarna Viking store that is in Joanns and not connected to it. I love my sewing machine that I bought from them. I am happy with both places.

I was there with my 5 year old granddaughter she was very excited about the fabric that was being cut for her dress and shared it with the lady cutting. The employee was kind of nice but really didn't want to be bothered. Checking out at the register was a great experience because I couldn't get my coupon to come up on my tablet but I was still allowed to use it.

I needed 4 yards of fabric cut into 4 equal yards. The company has a policy that it won't do that as it's a custom order. It was explained to me that "What if there was a problem with the cut? That would be our loss." So what? If they cut it wrong, it should be there loss. Seems petty. The woman who cut my fabric was not pleasant at all. She was short and clearly annoyed with my questions. She got a little passive agressive with me going overboard with "and you have a wonderful day" dripping with sarcasm. Not a good experience at all. I mentioned this to a manager who was willing to cut my fabric into 4 pieces but she explained again that it's company policy not too. Won't be back to this particular store.

I've had several bad experiences with this store! Their associates are slow and incompetent. Especially an associate by the name of Sheila, who is rude and who resorted to yelling at me because she was more concerned with checking out other customers than helping me or pointing me to someone else who could help. I will never shop at Joann Fabrics again online and especially not in this store!

Went to the Clay NY location today as I was in need of orange rhinestones. Had my 3 lb, 10 year old rehomed poodle with me. It was 95 degrees so there was no way I'd even think about leaving him in the car. I put him in his carry bag, grabbed my mask and we went shopping. I took my time and found what I needed. Then we waited for a register to open. The cashier was a lovely woman who asked many questions about my beloved dog and asked to pet him and when he didn't give her the time of day, she responsibly didn't push his limits. It was so nice and refreshing to have someone ask permission to approach and pet before just sticking their hand in his and my personal space. I will continue to shop here as I am able to bring my dog and the employees are very kind and respectful.

I go here for all my yarn. I find that their prices are a little higher than some other places but they always have coupons online so be sure to check that before you pay. They are also dog friendly which was super fun for our furry friend.

JO-ANN FABRICS in Clay is truly 1st class. Every item for very craft is beautifully displayed in a clean, organized way. Friendly service from extremely knowledgeable staff. Sensational sewing machine center boasts everything any sewing and/embroidery enthusiasts could want. Knowledgeable representatives will satisfactorily answer all your questions and assist you in every way. Comprehensive classes are available and taught by highly-trained professionals on the use of your sewing machine and all of its options and functions. Handicapped parking and accessibility. There is a host of craft supplies for every craftsman. It's the only store you need!!

Went for patterns which were 1.99 great sale.However, you have to really WATCH the scams here, coupons always have some reason of why they dont apply. Pricing is bait and switch. Military discount given at whim of cashier. Also a huge sense of confusion with online discounts. There is some by email, some text, and texted links, some are by the " rewards" program. Confusing enough that by the time you check out your bill is 3 times higher than what you anticipated. It has made me, as a very VERY long time JoAnn shopper, just about hate it.
