Had another excellent stay at Blue Hill Lodge. This is truly a hidden gem in Sullivan County. The tranquility alone is worth it and then on top of that, an amazingly quiet and clean room with private entrance. Owners/Management are very welcoming and are actually happy to know their guests are satisfied with their stay. Always warmly welcomed back and encouraged to return. I hope that Blue Hill never changes and always remains the gem that it is. In all of the hotels/motels in the area, none can compare to Blue Hill. Will continue to be a repeat guest and appreciate the hospitality and cleanliness which is so hard to find these days. Thank you to the staff and Owners, you all are wonderful!

Pros: The bed was very comfortable, had a mini fridge and plenty of shampoo/conditioner/soap. The restaurant on site was convenient. Dog friendly.Cons: Google lists the place as serving breakfast but it does not, which we were kinda counting on. The coffee in the room was terrible. No clear sinage as to where you actually check in to get into your room, for reference it appears to be the restaurant. Website does not list extra cost for dogs clearly ($40/dog/night?)...if we had known that we likely would have stayed elsewhereRooms: good wifi/tvcomfy bedCould be better sound proofed, could hear the people next door and upstairs easilyNearby activities: Single hiking trial 3 miles down the roadFood & drinks: Only food is on site, otherwise you need to drive 20 minutes

We had a great stay at one of the rooms. The room and bath were clean and just the right size, and fit my family of 4 without issues. The room had 2 full beds, fridge, TV with several channels, good wifi and a coffee maker with complimentary packs. The folks running the place are very kind and friendly. Feel free to say hello to them at the brewery.

My friends and I had a blast partying here. We hit up the on site brewery, the Russian Mule, and loved trying their craft beer specialties with appetizers to share. The bartender and staff there are very friendly! The setting of this lodge is serene and rustic, and is just a short walk to a beautiful river with a shore made of large stones that make good seats. Rooms were nice too: the option to use the doors between the rooms was convenient for our large group. We cannot compliment this place enough and look forward to staying again!

This is an excellent destination and lovely location to spend your time! Accommodations are very nice, clean and situated on beautiful grounds. The restaurant and brewery served great food and beer w plenty of variety. I highly recommend and will return. The museum adds an interesting diversion. Clearly the hosts take pride in their establishment. Great base to explore the Catskills be it hiking, biking, motorcycling, fishing. Well worth the time and money.

We had a great stay here. Rooms are recently renovated, clean and well kept - unusually so for a pet-friendly hotel. The cafe is a jewel: real fireplace, super clean, real flowers on tables, and the dinner was delicious. The manager Irina was very attentive and helped a lot during the dinner, entertaining kids with crayons, painting and treats. Just 1 hour away from big skiing resorts. Definitely coming back.

Willie the motel manager went so out of the way to accommodate us. He really saved our night by going out of his way to open up a room for us late at night and saving a trip. The room was great, the property is fantastic and I would love to come back on a bustling summer weekend.

One of the worst places we’ve ever stayed at. There was no coffee machine in the room. There was no electrical outlets in the bathroom so you could not use the hairdryer or anything else electric. The outlet in the bedroom was not close enough for the hairdryer to reach the mirror. Our room did not get cleaned even though we left the sign on the door handle requesting that the room be cleaned. The management there told us that we did not ask for the room to be cleaned and that’s why it wasn’t. I have never stayed at a place where I had to ask to have the room cleaned. The woman who does the cleaning lived over 30 minutes away. They called her in so we could get some fresh towels. The continental breakfast which came with the room was not available until after 9 AM and they closed at 6 PM. There was absolutely nothing opened in the area around Claryville so, we had to drive over 30 minutes one-way each night in order to get dinner. Do not waste your time or money on this place all you will get is a lot of aggravation and no satisfaction.

The food here is absolutely amazing. We stopped by on a drive around the Catskills. The chef/owner is Russian, and really knows how to cook a good meal. Definitely one of my favorite spots now!

Really great place to eat, drink, and enjoy some live music in a clean and modern environment. Friendly staff. The grounds are kept in great condition. I didn't stay at the lodge, but the cafe and the brewery are a must.

Very kinda staff. We were a very large group who arrived an hour before our reservation at the Cafe. They were very accommodating and patient. The food was good and the mozzarella sticks were pleasantly unique!

Excellent russian dishes. The setting is beautiful and quiet in the Catskills mountains. We had green borsh that was very flavorful and pelmeni and vareniki. Both were excellent. There is a large ineresting gallery art center next to the cafe.

Took a ride here while visiting the nearby Sundown Forest. This family run operations offers simple but high quality dishes to locals and area visitors. It is probably the best place in the area to grab a meal. Clean dining areas and reasonable prices.

Clean rooms, good beer, good food, reasonable prices and access to a clean cold creek for dips. The Claryville area is really beautiful and enjoying it from here will do you we'll. All that and bunnies and hummingbirds.

The only lodge in the area, super clean, but very basic for the money. For example, tv reception works then doesn't work again, no tissues, no change of towels or note about them not being changed, no making the beds, no hooks to hang clothing or wet towels in the bathroom, no clock, etc. If you want a bed and a dresser and a door, this is the place. But don't expect a sweet price.

The important thing to remember is that you are in Claryville, New York. What you see is what you get in this town. As long as you keep that in mind you will be satisfied by the opportunities presented to you. This is a small town, and if you are traveling from a big city you might be used to certain products. Don't expect to find them. But if you want a sandwich or some breakfast and you don't have a ton of demands, then you will get what you need.

Service was lacking when we went to visit. Even after the busy rush died down, our food order was forgotten and other tables after us were served first. The food was good, though.

Lunch was a great surprise. Didn't expect fantastic Russian food in Claryville. Great, attentive service. Try the meatloaf sandwich!
