Basic grocercy store. Pretty well stocked, but needs an Interior make over. Meats are good, produce is average. As with other Tops stores, the self checkout kiosks need a software update, since it is finicky. Fortunately, the attendant is attentive to clear warnings and keep the line moving.

Thank you to the great people who work in this Tops. When I got home I realized I left $40 change in the self checkout. When I returned back to Topps Chittenango 30 min later the nice people had my $40 in an envelope waiting.Great store too.Thank you. -July 24 2023.Thank YOU!

Easy to find stuff. Best fresh, warm Italian bread I've ever had!!! Nice produce selection. Nice meat selection as well. I would give 5 stars but sometimes the cashiers are rude and inattentive. The customer service girl was unfriendly. I worked my whole life in customer service and the employees need a refresher in friendliness and listening. I like the lady in the bakery. It's really just the front end that needs help.

The staff at the Chittenango Tops are awesome. I love that small hometown feel reminds me of the Carolinas. The store seems very clean and there's always stocking going on which is a plus. My only dislike is the food is close to expiration or expired especially in the deli/bakery area. It almost feels like Chittenango tops is a dumping post for nearly expired products from other stores. I hope this is not the case. Other than that Tops is awesome!

Easy store to get in and out of, especially if you're only grabbing a couple of things. Carts are always available and usually clean.

Went to the checkout and there was no sign on the self checkout that said “ no cash” thankfully it ate only a few quarters before I realized they weren’t going through. The girl said ohhh sorry no cash…. Not only did I have to use a card but she said I have my manager coming to give you your money back….. right and after waiting a few minutes I left and she was all smiles and said ok!!! What a garbage place!!!! Terrible customer service…. Never going back

Wish we had a market 32 In chittenango. Tops deli never has anything available like rotisserie chicken or fresh fish. No one in that store cares about the customer. Then the cashier charged me for the bags I brought with me. Produce is rotted or they don't even have salad available. Only go there if I need something now. I love going when you have one register open, two girls staring at the people using self checkout and the rest just acting lost to the world.

Was not a Quick stop. The store had all the items we needed. The only drawback need to update the checkout process for both cashiers as well as self. Took 3 times as long to purchase items as it did to shop we spent 10 mins shopping. 30 mins to get out of store.

Went in to buy Red beet horseradish. Asked for assistance, the employee that helped 😅 advised me they didn’t have any and there is no such thing. Well I have been using this for well over 60 years, Guess they need to be better informed

So . I go to tops on my lunch break. . It took the deli literally almost half an hour to make my cold turkey sub . Then she puts it in a sub bag which rips down the side. I get up to the register and what does the kid do. Picks my sub up from the bottom and it all falls over onto the Register. So not only did I lose out on my lunch break waiting so long but I also lost out on my lunch/dinner. Thanks guys!! .

If you ever need a cake, come here!I needed a cake for my two children's birthday party and was swamped with work, so I forgot to order one until the day before. The bakery said 'no problem', asked what I wanted, which my only reply was half balloons and half flowers with their names on it. We picked it up the next day to an amazing surprise of half blue and half pink/purple as well! The cake was so decorated so nicely and it tasted amazing!Definitely one of the best cakes I have tasted, will be coming back for all birthday cakes from now on.

Registers always closed, long lines,, never any product such as Snapped lemonade and ice tea, Brisk, shelves are always empty. and staff is not friendly at all. WE NEED COMPETITION OF ANOTHER STORE such as HANNAFORDS.

I have been shopping here for years. The people are friendly and rarely do you wait long in line. I personally love that but.. Downside, limited selection of products. Limited selection of pre cooked foods in the deli area and in general higher prices than the competition. The two Topps Markets 10 minutes from this one simple have better selection.

Kinda pricey for some things. Great meat deals for families ...look for their 5 packages of select meats for 20 ...they have the same kind of deal for select frozen items too! Sign up for your TOPS card for extra savings and gas points!

Cashier made a mistake and blamed me when the managet came to correct it. I didn't get the benefit of the coupon attached to one product. This store may have more variety, but I think I prefer the Canastota store's service.

If there was another super market in town I would not patronize Tops. It's sad because they have the potential to be good they just need some positive energy and care. Get it together Tops. Quit trying to expand and concentrate on what you have. Hope the higher ups see this! You'll make good money if you direct right instead of trying to go bankrupt again for your own self gain.

Store really clean and ample product on shelf. Parking was easy. Was in and out quickly with what I needed and more. Location was Chittenango. I would recommend this store for all shoppers in the local area.

I was extremely impressed with everything at the store. Very clean,well stocked with everything, from toilet paper too meats .Takes a lot of stress away from me during the Covid 19.The employees were all busy and stocking shelves as I shopped. Thank you Tops

Nice to still have our town grocery store. Cashier was very pleasant. Not having fresh cheese that I needed was a downer. Bought bagged cheese. Over all good day shopping.

Disappointed because I bought a bag of pibkano peppers called "Hotties" and all 3 peppers we're rotten. I bought them because there were very few other pepper choices. Two young men were helpful...I was looking for a local brand of sauce called Joe's. He inquired and returned to tell me that your location did not carry that brand. Another young man was stocking the shelves in the meat department and went in back to find me 3 more packages of sausage so I could take advantage of the buy 5 for $19.99 deal.

They have made an effort in the past year to renovate and keep the store cleaner, greatly helped it's appearance which used to be sketchy at best. Decent selection of products, produce and meat are limited but it's a small town so don't expect much

Not a big fan of going to this Tops. I was looking for sun dried tomatoes like the ones at the olive bar in Canastota, the worker at the deli looked at me like I was speaking Greek. As with all Tops stores, you need to have a rewards card for just about everything it seems. Fortunately every time I go there, the cashier makes sure to scan the store card to save me money.

Went through self checkout and didn't know routine ran my card and waited and waited and waited. Finally a different employee helped me out. After checking out not a single word from employee the employee that should have helped me. No have a good day...notta!

Best Tops I've ever been to! Everyone is very nice & always helpful. Store is nice size & always clean. And you never have to wait long in line.
