My first time in McGowans Hardware was today. Went in to buy Landfill punch cards. Which are $20.00 each. I paid with a $100.00 bill. I wasn't really paying attention. The male employee handed me back $100 bill???? First I thought oh no its a counterfeit there goes my planned day as I ll be at Police filling out reports etc.Nope, the 2 $100.00 bills stuck together unbeknownst to me. He could have kept the extra hundred I never would have known. But he was 100% honest and made me aware of situation.****Its that kind of honestly you seldom find today.****McGowans you earned a loyal shopper today. Price at big box stores be darned I m supporting McGowans Hardware from today forward.

Be ready to get horrible service!! I came in bought 3 things . So I guess one of the items I bought my husband didn't need was not the right thing. So I took it back . They tried to tell me I didn't pay for that item even tho they the ones who scanned it I even had proof of purchase. Then when they realized they was wrong then they tried to apologize. Stick with home depo and lowes
