I got ripped off when I had to buy two regular smoke detectors for over $80 . These smoke detectors can be bought for $15 each but Lowes got rid of any options and only offers them for the rip off price of over $40 each. Lowes made record prices and exploited the pandemic. Now that those high sales are gone they’re desperate to keep profits up and only cares about ripping off their customers. All the products are now rigged and double or triple the actual price. Shame on them. This is how customers are lost.

Went to Lowe’s to buy items for my new house and was confused on everything, that is until I met Michael Chiarito the assistant store manager. Not only did he help me pick out the appropriate light bulbs and garden materials, he personally walked us around the store and gave myself and my mom much needed advise on several other items we would need. I left the store feeling very knowledgeable and grateful to meet such a professional and friendly individual. We need more people like Mike. Would highly recommend this store especially Mike.

Had a samsung washer and dryer delivered Dec 3rd lowes installed both appliances . It's a summer home we opened up April 17th turned the dryer on and was making a grinding noise . Called Samsung they blamed lowes , called lowes they blamed Samsung. Finally Samsung came out and said the bottom of the dryer is dented in and when it spins its rubbing and making noise .I called lowes and they refuse toTo do anything . So now a $800 dollar dryer that is 4 months old used 1 for 5 minutes is no good

The staff made getting what I needed a snap in a huge rush. I walked in and got direction from the Returns Dept as I was walking swiftly by, got more clarification by the next person down the aisle, and the 3rd stopped me to inform me that their staff makes the duplicate keys instead of using a free-standing kiosk which can be a hassle if they don't work and you have to deal with the kiosk vendor, not Lowe's.I had a phenomenal staff member make the key and it was for pretty much the same price as the kiosk supposedly. The key worked perfectly!Semper fi sir, and thanks again!

Will start this review by saying that i've been here before prepandemic, and probably have gotten various stuff here like lights, ceiling fans,paint, tiles. lowes is a big store like home depot with lots of choices. However, it seems nicer here because there isn't people in the front trying to sell solar panels.Anyways.Went here with my dad on Saturday April 6th 2024 to pick up some vinyl to use to seal a sink. store was very clean and organized. We also found what we needed right away, but did look in multiple aisles until we found what we wanted. we purchased a grey vinyl to help seal our sink. We paid for our product via self checkout. Hope to be back soon!

Horrible! Is the word Ordered a gas dryer on 11/29/23.It was delivered by their contractor installer.They worked on the unit at least 45mins it didn’t work!!!Put in for a replacement and installationTwo times never showed.The last promise was for 1/13/24.Nothing!My wife has Alzheimer’s and we do a lot of laundry!!!!!Lowe’s doesn’t care!Claim the dryer is at their Chester store still nothing!Never go to Lowe’s!!!!!

I was greeted by a very friendly lady at the outside lawn and garden area. She pointed me in the right direction to where the 5 for $10 mulch was, and she checked me out, very nice lady.

Store is the absolute worst and does not support the products they sell. Purchased a chainsaw that broke after 1 cut. Brought it back and the manager, Bob, said it was Craftsman's problem not his. I asked why they do not stand behind products they sell. He claimed they do - to which i replied then you would have allowed exchange. He then walked away from me in a huff. More than one bad experience here but this was the most ridiculous

My daughter and husband bought a Husqvarna lawn tractor from Lowes. After trying to start it we found that the battery cables were on backwards after they put it together. Not only could this have hurt the electrical system but is unacceptable.

We picked out a storm door online for $237.00. We inquired about installation. We were told that we would have to come in to set up an appointment and pay $35 fee.We came in and met with someone at the mill desk. When I asked what the installation cost would be I was told $300-$350!! Now our cost is almost close to $600. We immediately went for a refund, cancelled the install and headed home to call a handyman.An untrained clerk struggled on two computers to process a refund while a more experienced supervisor sat there watching her struggle. After 25 minutes i got my refund while a line formed behind me at 9:15. Loews lost this sale but expect they could care less.

The staff is above and beyond. Love this branch and all what it offers.I used it for my home projects and it was phenomenal and good prices too when you get their membership card.Today I had an amazing help with the young man called Kurt , very knowledgeable and extremely patience, I was able to get all my plumbing needs fulfilled for my new project, the managers there really know who to hire.

I went today to pick up an online order after I received confirmation it was ready to be picked up. I show up at the store and go to the pick up desk. The woman at the desk was on the phone so waited patiently for over 5 minutes to finish her call. She gets off the phone and leaves the desk and goes to the main desk for returns. Doesn’t say one word to me. I asked her what’s going on and she said that I should have been waiting on the long line for returns to get my pickup. There were no signs that the pickup desk was closed nor did she say a word. I got stuck having to wait additional time to pick up my item. That is poor customer service. I will think twice before I ever order anything online from this store or even shop there.

In store staff very helpful and knowledgeable. Ordered flooring. Once several years ago, when one of the workers stole a laptop computer (and Lowe's said they were not responsible). This time the order was incomplete. Missing the edging dividing the flooring type. Called delivery and were NOT helpful at all. Basically he said because of the weather, they weren't responsible. Couldn't get an answer. What idiots!

It seems like there r no employees was there for 45 minutes to get a piece of Plexiglas cut. I asked like 4 people which I had to search for Noone new how to cut it I told the 1 employee to give me his vest ID do it myself finally I found a man who wasn't to sure about it but did a great job n cut it for me. Very frustrating nothing like the commercials I watch with all the smiling employees rushing to help you with your needs. That's all just advertising. Not reality

We went to Lowe’s in Chester, NY looking for sliding glass patio doors and were helped by Frank in doors. I would give Frank a million stars if I was able! He was patient, knowledgeable, helpful and courteous. He answered all our questions without issue. We have been to many Lowe’s and Home Depot’s to complete our home improvement checklist and have never encountered a more helpful associate! Give Frank a raise!

This store has some great items, a couple nice people/employees, the best location and decent prices. Yet, I absolutely cringe when I have to deal with Bob at their Customer Service Dept. He is so synthetic in his pretentious mannerisms and is bias. The man will not even hand you a receipt. He let's it drop on the counter everytime. Like seriously find another job and spew your hate elsewhere. This store is too good for that. They have a gemale manager that is no bettet.

I am writing this review to express my extreme disappointment with the customer service I received at Lowe's on June 29, 2023. I arrived at the store at 2:30 PM to return an item that I had purchased two days earlier. I had the receipt and the item in its original packaging. I waited in line for over an hour to speak to a customer service representative. When I finally got to the front of the line, the representative told me that they were not able to process my return because it was past the 90-day return policy. I explained that I had purchased the item with a Lowe's Commercial Account, which has a 365-day return policy. The representative said that they would have to check with a manager.I waited for another hour for the manager to come and speak to me. When the manager finally arrived, they told me that they would not be able to process my return because the item was not in stock. I explained that I was not trying to return the item for a refund, but rather to exchange it for a different item. The manager said that they were not able to do an exchange because the item was not in stock.I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I received at Lowe's. I waited for over two hours to be told that I could not return or exchange an item that I had purchased with a valid receipt. I will not be shopping at Lowe's again in the future.

I was waiting for a drywall delivery that they said would fall between 7:30-11:30am on a Friday. After no updates, I called at Noon and was told that the delivery would happen in the afternoon because they chose a different morning route. Then I call back at 5pm without any other updates, only be told by the delivery coordinator that they couldn’t deliver until Monday. An entire day’s work was wasted and I had to scramble last minute to pick up my own drywall from elsewhere, dishing out much more money. They refused to even give a discount or incentive to make up for their major error. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!

Never again will I buy an appliance from lowes and have them "deliver and install"! I should have known bc of prior experiences. I bought washer and dryer was told they couldn't hook it up bc we didn't buy new hoses from lowes. This was never told to us while buying the appliances. (We bought in store). I bought a dishwasher the guy hooked it up wrong and it was wobbly. I had to get a plumber to come in. I just bought a fridge . Again, they said they couldn't hook it up, bc we didn't buy a new water line from lowes. Also was never told to use while buying the fridge. So, all our appliances weren't really installed, although we were paying for installation. Also, it wasn't till a little later I noticed the doors weren't installed correctly and they never left me the leveling feet. Do yourself a favor and buy from some other store. Lowes delivery/installation company is not worth the headache.
