Very very unprofessional when you have a customer that was going to spend anywhere from $20-$50 dollars in your dollar store to tell them "No that you may not use our bathroom" Plenty of dollar trees that in a pinch I can relive myself. Not like I would have been long. Very condescending was to talk to your secret shopper shame 😳 shame No name tag on management flagrantly violating your oath to toughly serve your customerTomorrow morning higher ups will be notified have a nice evening now. Ta ta.🧐

I would give this store less if I could, no bathrooms, unfriendly staff. Dark, dingy and smells like cigarettes, I will say it was relatively organized as far as fronting product and aisle ways.

BEWARE of THIS store as the management staff is highly unprofessional! Esp the so called Manager identified as MIRANDA. She's extremely rude and def makes one wonder HOW she ever got hired to begin with. Upon purchasing 4 packs of two BATTERIES as normal from Collegetown location a week prior for outdoor SENSOR, 1 of the 2 pk was totally dead. When attempting to return/exchange she was summoned to assist, then immediately became nasty & argumentative. Insisting NO RETURNS once package OPENED? Simply REFUSING to accommodate. She NO doubt LACKS Customer Service skills. I won't shop here again unless they get rid of her. I strongly suggest that you DON'T waste your time to return/exchange DEFECTIVE items @ SOUTHTOWN DOLLAR TREE. It's definately NOT worth time/aggravation. I USED to shop here regularly, but again will NO longer.NOTE: 1/2/23 Follow up to a REPLY from someone representing THIS store (NO NAME GIVEN) claiming MIRANDA is NOT a part of their staff. FACT: HER NAME IS clearly PRINTED ON MY RECEIPT + SHE HAD A NAME TAG ON. SHE ALSO VERBALLY GAVE ME HER NAME & SPELLED IT so I made a point to jot down on back of my receipt. It's TIME TO "OWN IT" FOLKS and suggest that you STOP COVERING UP. As an Fyi we find it's highly necessary in SETTING the Record STRAIGHT because it's very apparent an attempt is being made to "sweep such a BAD EXPERIENCE under the rug"1/19/23 Update to owner's subsequent reply insisting it WASN'T the Southtown location: I can unequivocally ATTEST to fact that I was IN the SOUTHTOWN Dollar Tree location. Someone by name of Miranda was the one summoned to assist by the cashier for returns/exchanges. Miranda was also on the floor stocking items on shelves. So Mr. Owner, rather than disputing this, a MUCH better SOLUTION was to FIX issue by simply ALLOWING subsequent REPLACEMENT of DEFECTIVE batteries sold. That's ALL I really wanted.

Very dirty, unkept, disorganized and generally gross. This store never used to be this bad, but it has gone down hill.I would avoid it at all cost

One of the least organized stores I have been to. This is the Jefferson location. There were items on the floor, items in the wrong places, items piled on top of each other on the shelves. Really unimpressed. It wasn't just one bad day either. I've seen it this way on several occasions. Go for the location just off of Winton. Nicer store.

always great shopping at $ Tree even if it's a $1.25 now...am visiting in NY..my $ Tree is a little cleaner but am sure we don't have the traffic that they have in NY... didn't find what I went in for but can always find other things that I needed...

They have one cashier, the poor girl was overwhelmed, she had very long lines, and no one there to help her. If there was anyone else there they were not helping her. Other than that it's a good place to shop, you can usually find anything and everything you want in there, and sometimes some things that you didn't even know you were there that want it. Aside from the fact that there was only the one cashier, who by the way was very pleasant, I would shop there all the time.

We got what we needed from Dollar Tree. We went to find a cheap mixing bowls, some measuring cups & a few kitchen utensils. We found everything we were searching for. The condition of the store wasn't great. Found a few broken things still on the shelf, for sale. All five things that we bought, only came to $7.56. Great deals!

They were actually pretty stocked. I don't wanna say dirty.,🙄😩,.. But they can use a good remodeling🤔...Not a bad idea because it looks cluttered and dusty. But the cashier was nice💫

I was in this store today and I had to take an emergency bathroom break. They let me use the bathroom. The bathroom was dirty and the toilet had feces stuck inside the bowl. There was a sign on the wall saying all employees must wash hands, but there was no soap. When I was done I walked back out into the hallway and noticed a utility sink full of dirty water. Also, in the aisles where people shop are empty stocking boxes sitting where people walk. It may be a cheap store, but it doesn't need to look cheap. It can still be neat and tidy. I wouldn't want to work there in a dirty store.

This is one of the smaller Dollar Tree stores I've been to, so they don't always have as many items as you would find in a larger one. For the usual basics it is great, but for items that are not regularly stocked, they have far fewer than other locations.

Everything is better in the NY locations. I got the best pair of eyelashes for a dollar. Clerk was very nice as well and quick checkout.

Not bad. Normal dollar tree, a little messier than most dollar trees but you can find most basic items here...always priced appropriately!!

So rude. I called ahead to ask about a certain product. First girl that answers says to another one " can you take this call. I don't want to deal with her. Looking for some watermelon thing ugh. " other girl comes on I repeat that I'm looking for watermelon twists. She then lists off maybe five different flavor of twizzlers that they have. I ask are any of those switzler brand ( the one I'm asking for) and she Rudely replies I just told you what we have. That's all we have. I say "I know. Thanks but.." And she hangs up. Which I had gotten her name. Ughhhh.

This store is the absolute worst dollar tree ever, the store is a mess you can't get thru the aisles and the shelves are empty. Do yourself a favor and find a different Dollar Tree!!!!
