A very charming and delightful bookstore full of history and vintage novels. If you are a bibliophile, you would definitely enjoy this place. The owners are great, the ambience is adorable, and the prices are very reasonable. And now I can say that I got a book from the same place Morse Code was developed. 10/10 will visit again.

Best bookstore I've ever been to. Despite it being quite small inside with all the books, it has two stories and this back area that it's honestly hard to choose which books to get. Plus the books are carefully and neatly lied out in bookshelves that makes it easy to tell what you are looking for. The owners are very nice and helpful, also the humor is just 10/10. Having a conversation with em is awesome. They have a wide array of genres here from history to cooking to fiction, to very old vintage books and more. Great place and they have the best prices.

We visited the Cherry Valley Bookstore on a chilly afternoon. We were greeted by a warm fireplace and an impressive inventory on its two floors. Modern Library and Everyman’s Library were shelved separately to make it easy to search for that collection. We found two books that we’ve had on our list for years and looked for in dozens of other bookstores. We also had a pleasant chat with the owner. (Isn’t it fun not to be jettisoned out the door after your purchase!) New owners—- great work guys! We will definitely return.

I visited recently and bought some nice vintage texts. A diverse selection of affordable books; you'll probably find something you like. Bill and Lynne are very friendly. Check the place out sometime if you haven't.

Great eclectic collection of published works ranging from original printings to children's books. An extraordinary range of topics, historical monographs, regional interest, even a foreign language section.Will try to return - do much to read!

Bill and Lynne Compton are the new owners of this quaint book store. Don't let the size of the store front fool you. This book store has over 17,000 books in inventory!! When you are looking for a fun afternoon with a friend eating lunch in town and check out all of these books when you are done.

Such a nice couple and eclectic bookstore. I found a section just for me and spent far too long. Will be back for sure when passing through town. My wife loved it.

I just met the new owners. They have liberated a little fireplace and plan coffeemaker and chairs for a new Cherry Valley hang-out. Maybe they'll let us keep our own coffee cups there, like the old days at Larry's.
