Great selection and great customer service. I finally found my favorite gin there (Nordes from the North of Spain). Very knowledgeable people who always have the time to help (even bringing the bag out to the curb for me!)Highly recommend.

Have zero complaints ... Was looking for a super nice Porto .. vintage .. and this they do not carry ... Not totally surprised lol ... Doesn't take away from the store ... Seems they have a diverse selection of other more popular wines

This is absolutely my favorite wine and liquor store. Karen, the owner, goes out of her way to get a wine I have tasted or would like to taste. She is very knowledgeable and gets to know her customers so well that her recommendations to try something new are spot on.

I never take the time to write a review, yet I had such an overwhelmingly bad experience at this place that I feel the obligation to warn off others.I was on my way to a friend's Bday when I stopped by for what ought to be a quick 5 minute wine run. Forty minutes later, I was still at the store and on the phone with my bank.Why? Utter incompetence and lack of customer service. And I am quite understanding when someone is less than proficient at their job (whatever) but when the clerk is defensive on top of that I pull all the stops.Long story short, the clerk could not operate her till and later could not operate the EBT machine. This resulted in a delay even before she decided to charge my card twice because the first transaction's store receipt did not print out (that is, instead of pressing REPRINT on the device, she, with big, knowing eyes, decided to refund the transaction and run it again.)I gave her the benefit of the doubt (hey, I am on my way to a Bday party, I'm not going to put myself in a bad mood). But after watching her fumble with the EBT machine a second time, decided to call my bank to ensure I was not being charged twice. The bank released the hold on the duplicate transactions, yet two business days later I look at my online banking and find I have been charged twice.Now I need to get on the phone with the store's manager - a store I never want to have anything to do with again - to settle the charge.Aside from the clerk's appalling incompetence, I have to say I was not impressed with the selection of wines within (most of which averaged at $17), Oh! And how do I know this? Because when I first stepped into the store, forty minutes before, this same clerk took it upon herself to engage in a personal conversation with another customer who walked in at the same time as I did, giving me plenty of time to walk round the store four times before I could check out.Man! I should have driven to Route 66 Spirits by the Price Chopper.I so regret ever stepping inside Chatham Wine & Liquor.But I am writing this review, so that you do not have to.

My husband and I stopped in while visiting my family over Christmas and managed to swing a tasting of some local whiskeys and we were so impressed by the fellow's knowledge of what he was serving. I'm finishing the last of the rye tonight and have made a mental note to get more. Next time we are in the area, we will be sure to stop in and try something new.

They usually have hard-to-find libations in stock. When they don't have it, they'll order it or provide comparables in stock. Very helpful and friendly staff. I usually find great gifts there. Thank you!
