I’ve never purchased McCadam cheese. It was on sale so I decided to buy 2 eight ounce bricks. I had them for 3 days and when I opened one it was full of mold. I have never had this happen to any cheese I bought and I buy a lot of blocks of cheese. As you can see by the photos lots of mold and the sell date is June 29, 2024. 😡

Love going here they have the best cheese curd, and anything else you can thing of. They carry N.Y. state and Vermont Maple syrup. Prices are fantastic

(Store Review) Finally able to come back here for cheese (post Covid border crosser) The dairy here is great but ESPECIALLY the cheese. I love McAdam products. They also have everything a farmer could ever need (I guess, as I am not a farmer) but also a large supply of birder's supplies, boots, gloves, etc. etc. at great prices. The staff will always help if you need it and checkout is always friendly. Parking seems adequate for the traffic volume. Handicap parking at the door. Love the atmosphere of this place. Did I mention the cheese? Highly recommend.

The very best cheese I've ever eaten. My Grandfather use to work there years ago.Still the best cheese all these years later and I live in Syracuse. My family is from Lisbon.Your product is outstanding. We eat nothing but your delicious products. Please keep making it.It's always on my charcuterie board at the holidays. This business is well organized, staff is very helpful and professional and kind. Noise ordinance on Collins, between 21:00 & 06:00, truck motors and apu' have to be off. Very limited o/n parking, Receiving hours: 07:00-14:30, if a driver arrives after that time, they won't load you. Clean, free of odors facility.

Go through gates and around the buildings to the back side to check in. First come, first serve type on loading. Tight maneuvering space but manageable. In and out in 90 minutes, so I'm unsure of overnight parking.

Bought a block of McCadam Muenster cheese recently from Giant Foods in Cuba NY. Buy this cheese every other week. This time it was not smooth and creamy like Muenster, rather super bitter and very sharp. Think it was labeled wrong.

McCAdam cheese is top notch, Cabot could take a lesson from their less promoted product line. Hands down McCadam cheese has better flavor than any of Cabot's bland products. Co-op is a great stop. Good value whether you're shopping for dairy products or farm needs. Great staff that are always polite and helpful.

Receiving hours are from 7am - 3pm for reefer loads. If you get here after 230pm you will not get loaded. Which is understandable. Noise ordinance from 9pm - 6am therefore truck, apu and reefer must be off.

They will load you early and fast. If your hauling the wooden boxes of cheese, use the 6-7th hole. The 1st cat scale was 120 miles away in Mexico NY. This load was WAY HEAVIER than the 37k they told me.
