Nice park with a beautiful lake. Sometimes, part of the trail is too muddy to use. Also, tree roots make it difficult to walk without twisting your ankle in certain places.

Such a beautiful park. So serene. After a hike (there are multiple trails), enjoy a packed lunch overlooking the lake. Bring the kids and dogs as this is a pet-friendly park, and there is a great playground as well as a gazebo to do a homemade art project or two.

This park is beautiful. Really nice playground. Breezy to take a nice walk and explore. Kids can bike/scooter, a clean bathroom. Nice quiet little hill I've seen people getting a little tan. Can't wait to try the hike trails. The playground is enclosed, stroller friendly. Lots of parking.

Came here to have one last "talk" with my Momma.When we had moved to NY back in '84...Gedney was one of the first places Momma took me.Last weekend, I sat on the bench with Momma's ashes...and thanked her for being the most amazing Mother. Some tears were shed, and memories came flooding back.Gedney was and always will hold a special place in my heart!

We LOVE this park. It is well maintained, the trails are clearly marked for the short hike or the long walk. It is dog friendly and the people who frequent the park are also sociable.It is a GREAT place to spend some hours outdoors.

A fun park for kids, adults & dogs. The gym equipment is updated and there are areas for young kids (3 & under) and for older kids. There is a large water area often with geese and ducks. Lots of room to run around.

Easy to access paths, which you can let your dogs loose on. There's not a lot of clear marking for the paths, but they are well maintained and easy to follow. There's also a lake and playground for families. There's multiple parking areas depending on which activity you plan to do. Just be aware that there are a lot of children around.

That was nice hike around the pound and see turtles, ducks and fish. I also saw a small sneak. Easy trail. Good for families with small kids.

Great place to bring my dog. Lots of trails they are short and easy. Plenty of swimming spots along the way. Well behaved dogs can be off leash during certain hours.

Really nice park by the water!! Very family and dog friendly. There’s a walking trail, benches by the water, and beautiful baseball fields.

Nice park, with a trail, a big pond, playground, a steep slope to sled down in winter.Restrooms: Nice and clean.Dog-friendliness: There are always many dog owners walking their dogs.

Really love this park! It has a little bit of everything, nice lake for fishing (specially for kids), playground, short trains to go for a walk and nature for kids to explore, patch of grass for kids to practice soccer or baseball. If I had to say I'm missing something, that would be a place for kids to learn how to ride bikes.

Really nice park and trails.I dont like the play ground. It has slides that are very steep amd do not seem safe. Made me nervous. And I'm not usually worried about stuff.

Was in the surrounding neighborhood because my brother just purchased a house. Was driving around aimlessly and ran into this park. Was super glad that I did!Awesome green grass everywhere. Lovely views and hiking trails. Can't wait to visit again.

Beautiful big park with hiking trails, grassy areas to sit out on, would be great for a picnic lunch, not sure if there were picnic tables but bring some chairs and enjoy the peaceful vibe and greenery. My friend and took in a hike, very good easy to moderate hiking trails.

Beautiful place and super tailored to children/kids of all ages. I hadn't gotten to walk some of the more advanced trails because my little one is too young, but I'm eager to try when we can!Playground: I would love to see that the trash bin is well kept more often, this area is for children, and if not closely watched, a young child can pick up trash and get sick or hurt.Restrooms: I have used the public restrooms once or twice and it's was better than anticipated. Pretty well kept 👌Dog-friendliness: I've noticed many people walking with their dogs, and I'd love to bring my dog here as well. The environment is calm and relaxing, perfect for a walk with your four-legged friend.Picnic area: My family and I have had lunch here twice in two different areas and both were very pleasant experiences. Insects like tiny ants can't be helped but preparing in some way like eating your food over a paper or plastic bag does help somewhat prevent them from getting on your food.

Very poorly maintained. Very uneven ground and walking pass, making a hazardous walking place for small kids. When it rains, the playground area is full of water puddles making it impossible to play. The small “lake” is dirty and gross. For the so well-known Chappaqua, It doesn't fit the neighborhood standards.

Great playground! Very fast slides. Nice bath rooms. The ball fields are well maintained and there is even a small playground for the younger siblings to play on while the bigger kids play ball. The lake had turtles and frogs. Perfect for a nature exploration. Looking forward to trying the trails.

What and amazing park full of trails for us the beginners! Its just beutiful and full of nature, its pond is magical and the playground will keep your kids playing for ours, we will definitely be coming here a lot, and the park seems to have great places for snow sledding once the winters arrives. Everyone brings their dogs as well and the people are very friendly. Don't miss it if you are around!

Beautiful park with a lake and picnic areas. Very serene. There is a hiking trail. The ball fields and soccer field are at the end of the road (2 way, narrow in some spots). Highly recommend this park.Playground: Noticed a playground near the main parking area and one at the ball fields.Restrooms: Can't speak for the entire park. There were Restrooms near the ball fields.

Nice park with walking trails next to a stream. One playground for young kids is at the front and one for toddlers is at the back. Lots of parking spots. Update : Since Gedney park has dogs walking off leash off trails and sniffing on passerbys, it is not fun for everyone to walk here. This is the nearest park for many people but just not freindly for all.
