I brought my cat here, and couldn’t afford to pay over 1000 dollars for surgery for open wounds.. which I don’t even think the cat needed surgery had to wait in the car for her to examine her Was told I could sign over the cat if I couldn’t afford to pay, I agreed and by the time I got to the door the kitten was deceased. I believe she definitely euthanized it, because just before the cat was in good health other than wounds.

Maybe don't say you're open when you're not open. My porcupined dog and I came by at 1am on Sunday morning, but stupidly didn't call first.For an open vet on weekends, head to Guardian in Middletown.To the business: adjust your hours on Google, as you arent open on weekends, apparently. Thanks.

Oh no, don't bring your pet here if you care about them. This place looks like they have not done a deep cleaning in centuries!! Dirty walls and trims that look like it's been building hair, greese, and dust forever. The vet is very strange and has a super lethargic, crippy, antiquated vibe. Masks are mandatory, but the place is totally disgusting, lol. I believe this lack of hygiene in an animal hospital is highly dangerous for a pet's health.

I highly recommend this place for emergencies! I'm very grateful that after a midnight emergency visit , my dog is on his way to recovery!

Beautiful, kind, compassionate people. I’ve been to many vets over the years but I’ve never met someone so caring. My poor cat was very sick and unfortunately it was her time to go. The vet spoke so sweetly to my baby and made her as comfortable as possible. I’ve never had a vet be so compassionate and delicate. She was amazing and also gave me some alone time with my sweet baby before it was her time to go.I can’t begin to explain how wonderful everyone here is. The vet gave me a little box with my cats paw prints and I didn’t notice until the next day but she also gave me some of her fur which made me cry harder!! I will never ever bring my animals anywhere else. I plan on bringing in the whole pack (one by one of course) for a checkup with an amazing Veterinarian! Also, the receptionist was amazing, I came out of the exam room crying and I swear this lovely woman all but jumped over the counter to console me. Gave me a kiss on the hand and her condolences. Beautiful kind people. I can’t begin to thank you all enough for your incredible kindness and support. I don’t know if you guys read this but you all made a terrible situation a little better with your love. Thank you.

Dr. Carol Roshkind is one of the most kind and compassionate people I have ever met. Her love for animals and her professionalism are second to none. I have been taking my dogs to Central Valley Animal Hospital for years and they have always been given the utmost care. I would recommend Dr. Roshkind's practice to anyone. She truly is one of a kind.

I would not recommend I brought my cat there to be cremated she meet me at the door, then when I picked up my cats ashes she left it outside I could not go in (weird)COVID is over. Not compassionate at all.

We are new to the area and didn't have a local vet yet when our 17 year old cat who has been in a slow decline for renal failure took a turn for the worse. We had already taken all possible measures with an expensive prescription diet, special water for kidneys, and several trips to the hospital a few months prior. So we knew this was the end, but didn't want our beloved cat to have to suffer through more tests or lengthy visits that would stress her and cause her even more pain. When I called the office and broke down while telling Dr. Roshkind the situation and that we needed help to ease Peach's passing even though she wasn't a patient yet, she was very kind and understanding. She made us an appointment that same day. The process was different because of Covid, but was handled very gently and respectfully, giving us plenty of time with Peach as she was sedated and made comfortable before the final shot when she peacefully passed. Dr. Roshkind's kindness and genuine sympathy for our grief made a terrible day a little easier and we will be forever grateful for that. There is no question that the medical needs of our other cat and any future pets will be cared for by Dr. Roshkind moving forward. She's a wonderful vet and person. As a side point, when we got the bill I was pleasantly surprised that it was very reasonable for the area. I had expected to pay more honestly, and thought it was very professional that we weren't gouged for not being existing patients or for having it be an emergency visit. Just one more reason that we can't recommend Dr. Roshkind's clinic highly enough.

My poor cat died a week after a visit here because she didn’t catch that my cat had a bad case of upper respiratory infection. Had to take my cat to a different vet and they said that she would of survived if the previous vet caught it and treated her at that time. Seemed very careless or tired, and like she was in a rush during our appointment. Only recommend if you know her personally and have been going to her for a long time, otherwise she doesn’t care about your pet. I DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR PET EMERGENCIES AND IF IT’LL BE YOUR FIRST VISIT WITH THEM!

Can't go in with your pet. Must wait in car. Vet speaks to you over phone. There's not much to say about the clinic because we're not allowed to go inside. I wouldn't go back with my pets. Prices are average to other clinics in the area.

We happened to find this place by accident. We had a cat that was 86 years old and on his last leg, These people, everyone that works here are awesome. We have continued to use them for our 2 dogs and I can't say enough about the care that is given to them. They treat your babies as if they were their own pets. They are extremely caring and also check up on your animals if they are sick... I would recommend everyone to come here!

She was able and willing to help my pup with an ear infection, despite his own vet not being able to take him until later in the week. I called Dr. Roshkind first thing in the morning and she put time aside for us that day! The invoice was reasonable and she takes Covid precautions seriously. He is currently on the road to recovery and it is thanks to Dr. Roshkind!

Most caring vet I have ever had. She takes great care of the animals. Will work with you in any emergency situation. Even got a caring call and a card when we had to put my old dog down. Place is clean. I couldn't see the review that only gave 1star but I can't possibly imagine having a bad experience here. The only time I've had a long wait even is when she had an emergency and I would love a very to put my emergency case first!

I never met such a caring vet who tried so hard to save my cat's life Our 15 year old cat suddenly became ill. Our vet that we had used for 19 years tried for about a month to find out what was wrong. The vet then stopped returning my calls. The last time I called the office the vet tech told me the doctor said to go to a specialist. A friend recommended Dr.Roshkind. Dr. Roshkind went above and beyond to find out what was wrong with my boy. Unfortunately, we realized it was his time to go. She gave me a little box with his paw prints and some of his fur. They also sent me a beautiful card. When I'm ready to get another cat, I will definitely use Dr. Roshkind.

Dr. Carol Roshkind treats all my fur babies as though they were her own. She has been there for us since we first moved to Woodbury, taking such great care of Zippy, with his epilepsy, and Honey, with both diabetes and cataracts. All of our cats, of course, have also visited with Dr. Roshkind, and each of them have lived very long, healthy, comfortable lives. So grateful to have her as part of this comminity.

My father and I have been using this place for a near 20 years. And I could not ask for a better veterinarian knows everything there is to know about your animal I just had a cat named midnight he was almost 19 years old because of this wonderful place sadly we had to put him down and they sent a beautiful card sending their condolences I will never go anywhere else but this place
