Loved this marina! It was top notch! Very clean, had grills and a lovely gazebo with picnic tables for loopers to gather. I loved the plants they grow for boaters to help themselves. I got a little sweet basil and some lavender. The docks were beautiful and the lawn- wow! Owner takes a lot of pride in this place and it shows.We took the loaner car to Wegman’s for provisions. (They have 2 for use)My dogs loved going to the office to get spoiled with treats.Highly recommend this beautiful, full service marina where they are so kind and helpful!

Let’s just take a moment and look at how pretty this facility is!!!! The cleanest, pet friendliest, and the nicest staff. They took Eva right behind the counter gave her treats, a tour and lots of love. 20/10 highly recommend!!! Thanks Winter Harbor from the crew of Last Chance!

May be the best in the world BUT - called to talk about major engine rebuild. Could not get past reception who was giddy about quoting exorbitant labor rates but didnt know a diesel from gas engine and could not tell me if any of the mechanical staff had the certifications you would expect for such a rate. Speaking for myself - if I am going to drop an estimated 25-30k on a rebuild I want to know the staff is trained, can answer basic questions, and get a sense of confidence

Beautiful marina! Friendly service! Very well kept facilities! Bathrooms, showers and laundry were immaculate! The only downfall was that neither of the courtesy cars were available for our use. If ever in the area again, definitely stopping in.

I couldn’t be more satisfied with the service level from every staff member I encountered. I stated here for 4 nights, had haulout work done, oil change, fueled up, and pumped out during my stay here. I feel qualified in saying this place is as solid of a business as I’ve ever seen. The culture is shaped by the owner, Tom, and exemplified every staff member: fairness, honesty, quality over quantity, treat the customer well, over deliver, friendliness, helpfulness….You’ll seriously have a difficult time finding a better run and operated organization as Winter Harbor Marina because the people who work here care.

We have owned a boat most of our lives. Winter Haven is by far the best marina we have ever used. The prices are fantastic. The quality of workmanship outstanding. Our electronics went out on a Monday. They had the part overnighted and installed at 7am on Wednesday. Super clean restrooms. Anyone doing the Great Loop, this is a must stop. Easy walk to restaurants.

The staff and management are fantastic. Repairs when required, are done within a reasonable time-frame based on the repair & parts availability.I would highly recommend Winter Harbor for all your boating/yacht requirements and if space is available, the heated storage facility is great. 12 year satisfied customer. Fiberglass or paint work is their specialty. Need a place to transit, make sure to plan at least an overnight. PS facilities are kept very clean.

This place is an affordable marina and has the nicest showers I've seen at any marina. However. When the alarm on our Honda 50 outboard went off, husband said he'd like an impeller replaced. We were told 10 days before it could be looked at. I guess a small, 24ft transient boat is put at the bottom of the list. It was hauled out, on the hard. The $5 tell-tale hose they replaced cost a little more than $500 after labor & dockage fees. And they suggested we have the impeller replaced in the future. I wish we'd gone somewhere else.

My wife and I stayed this past weekend at WH. Tom and his crew (TIm and Hanna) were great and went above and beyond in making our stay great! I had brought my boat a couple of years ago to get repaired and painted and back then they went above and beyond and shows today they havent changed the way they treat their customers. We are def coming back for a couple of weekends next summer. Dont know why we havent done this before.Thank you Tom and Staff!

Winter Harbor and the entire staff have been so accommodating over all my years traveling through the canal. I recommend them to anyone whom asks where to go, where to buy fuel, and where to get service done. I have known them for years, and this past trip was one where I needed a technician to perform service. The technician started at 7 am and finished the job, cleaned up and we were still able to make our final destination that day. Great job!!

If you're going to stop in Brewerton,for an overnight, by boat, this is your place. Clean, friendly amenities and restaurant in walking distance. I believe they have a courtesy car also. The other marina Pirates Cove is a swamp of sea grass. 90 cents a foot and cheap gas. Also you can fuel up 24/7 by credit card

A great marina in fantastic shape. Leslie runs a tight ship and couldn’t be friendlier. The docks and grounds are in great shape. The courtesy car is a wonderful perk and you can’t beat the price of their fuel. There’s no better option to stop at in Brewerton. Add it to your list.

Excellent service and great mechanical expertise. We arrived late Saturday afternoon on a holiday weekend and they were able to accommodate us and replace propellers our Tiara Sovereign by Sunday noon. Leslie came out to greet us when we arrived and the marina loaned us one of two cars to drive into town for staples. We would go out of our way to stay there again in our future travels

Nice people I was their neighbor for years. I've seen lots of changes to this place I would highly recommend this marina very attractive and modern buildings inside and out best marina hands down in the Syracuse area. If your into your boat being heated or if it needs a paint job this is the marina for you.

The Best and Worst of marinas!We are loopers who stayed here mid-June 2021.The attitude we experienced here was completely opposite of anywhere else on the Erie Canal!➕The docks are brand new and immaculate➕The bathroom/showers are clean and kept up.➕The dock staff are genuinely friendly and helpful➖Office staff not friendly or helpful.➖Loaner car is usually a ➕ but this one is so unsafe and un-kept up as to be a ➖, a drag on the marina’s reputation. Windows don’t lower and no a/c. Seat belts didn’t work for us.➖Office staff seemed unwilling to loan the car, and presented us first with a list of rules. Sign out required and use limited to one hour, 7 miles.➖On returning car, sign in required, but staff slow to provide the clipboard and barely spoke to us.➖washer/drier area not cleaned and the room is used for storage.➖The place is drowning in lists of rules, with new ones being added regularly.Bottom line: transients and loopers are a low priority to them. This is the opposite attitude we found anywhere else on the Erie Canal!

Great service. Had my Boston Whaler’s bottom painted, boat winterized, and several repairs. They did quality work and the price was less than I was quoted.Very nice people to deal with.

I would highly recommend this organization! The team at Winter Harbor was well informed, communicated with me every step of the way and provided excellent service from day one until the repair was completed. They were more of an advocate for me than the dealer that sold me the boat! They went right to the manufacturer and got results despite an expired warranty period. You won't regret working with this team!!

The best yard on the Barge Canal and frankly upstate NY. We have been stopping at Winter Harbor since it opened and have used their yard services a number of times. They just take care of everything and are not satisfied if it isn't perfect. They will turn an opps into boy we are glad we have met the team at Winter Harbor!!!!!

The people that work there are less than friendly. Offered my high school junior son a job. I bought him the boat shoes and khaki shorts that they requested he wear. Filled out all the tax forms and paperwork. He worked there for 4 hours in which time three different people told him different ways to do the same job. He reported to work the next day and was told they didn't have enough work for him. He called later in the week to get confirmation of his work schedule and was let go. My son is on the honor roll and a hard worker. Kinda stinks they didn't really give him a chance. It was his first job and I don't believe they treated him fairly.
