There is an employee here named John who usually works the register and he is amazing. He is so friendly and has the most positive attitude. He always asks how your day is going and is pleasant even when some customers are downright rude. There are Dollar Tree stores all over the place but I shop at this one because I always leave feeling better, even if I'm not having a great day (like today - I'm sitting in my car outside the store and felt compelled to write this after such a positive interaction). Someone give that man a raise! He is an asset to your company. You are appreciated, John!

This place is a mess!!! ALWAYS. Shelves is disarray, boxes all over the place, doesn't appear to have been cleaned in months. Manager is rude. Her attitude reflects the stores appearance. Only come here as a last resort.

Recent visit showed a marked improvement in the appearance of the store and merchandise.The staff should be commended for their hard work! Hopefully the patrons who shop there will respect the staff’s efforts and strive to keep the merchandise where it neatly belongs.

I went to this place to buy some gift cards last week ,and when I was about to check out, I saw many people waiting on line for check out . So there was a woman with short straight hair and glasses, I don't know if she was the manager or the cashier, she came out of the room, it was really very rude, no Know if she is in a bad mood today or something else, or just my bad luck. The attitude of the employees in this store is bad than other one.

the truth, i was there recently meaning today with my mother trying to make a purchase, an employee mid 50 maybe 60 gray ish light brown ish straight short hair was extremely rude to my mother and I. we are frequent customers of dollar tree and the way she treated us was horrible and completely disrespectful and uncalled for. if she has personal problems going on at home fine, but there is absolutely no need to take it out on me and my mother and if she hates her job then fine that’s not the customers fault or problem you know? I specifically don’t recommend this dollar tree to ANYONE due to rude staff. It happened to us before and yet again it happened again. I didn’t want to go to this one but it was closer for us to go. We went today to grab a couple things and also a balloon for a birthday, me and my mother are Hispanic she was on the phone talking in her language which is Spanish and as soon as the lady heard my mom speak that language she had such a nasty face on, my mom got off the phone and it hurt me because my mom spoke to her so politely, my mother asked the nasty women for a balloon just ONE and she yelled!!!!!!! at my mother and said “ THERE IS NO HELIUM” and she rolled!!!!! her eyes!!!!!! I couldn’t believe at the way she spoke and looked at my mother, my mother told her that she didn’t deserve to be treated like that and the lady said nothing she had such a attitude she ignored my mother as my mother was speaking to her and telling her how rude she was and she ignored my mom the whole time that’s why we left our cart. She had such a nasty face on and a horrible attitude and I got so angry because I didn’t see her treat not one person like the way she treated me and my mother. I feel like it’s because we are Hispanic I don’t want to say it’s because of my nationality but sadly I feel like it was and because she heard my mom speak and I told her that she treated us like garbage because we are Hispanic! there was no reason for us to be treated with such disrespect from a human being it’s disgusting. Once that happened we didn’t even buy our stuff we left the cart there half full and left because it’s insane how rude the employees are at the centereach location and how rude they treat people. I will never return to this store again. I will call them To get her name so I can call corporate because no body and I mean NO body deserves to be treated like that and get yelled at like she yelled at me and my mother for NO REASON. She didn’t apologize or anything I even said “hi how are you” she ignored me!!!! I will definitely never go back there again and I advise everyone to not go there either unless you want to get treated like your nothing!

This particular location in Centereach horrible from the broken glass all over the parking lot to the inside of the store that is dirty and most of the time empty shelves all of the time.It seems dollar tree has taken the idea that harbor freight took and feels they are superior to all other stores. We went here to buy Easter candy for grandchildren and every single item was cheaper at the big store behind dollar tree Wal#@rt. In fact the big store actually had double the size candy cheaper then dollar tree.Its seems odd that dollar tree raised their price on everything to a 1:25 yet everything is in smaller packages. Bye, bye dollar tree. Your stores are gross and raising prices and smaller packaging is a RIP off.Now when you enter these garbage stores they have 3 and 5 dollar items.Say good bye to Dollar DUMP STORE.

Dollar tree is great for greeting cards, wrapping paper and gift bags. They have a nice selection and everything is a dollar! I just got all my daughter's graduation plates and decorations there, so much cheaper than party City! They have nice seasonal items and holiday items, they have Candy, chips and some food. Even cosmetics and lotion but the quality is not so good. You can find a little bit of everything but they're basically good for paper goods and party supplies. Love this store. Update 2022, everything is now $1.25. Still worth it!

This is truly a $1 store!Has the largest selection up things you need frequently including groceries drinks snacks and frozen foods and yes they are all for $1.The staff is very helpful and I would give them 5 stars if there was just 1 or 2 more working there. The staff is great but they are understaffed and it can create checkout lines that are a little longer than you would want.This store is recommended.

The only problem is there was only one cashier when I got on line. I needed balloons so the cashier called for help and the manager came to help me with the balloons. She was extremely helpful and very nice. Out of the 8 balloons I wanted they only had 3 of them in stock which was disappointing. She found two other balloons that I took in desperation. It seems like all the different dollar tree stores have very little stock of balloons in their stores.

Luis I think his name is, is very helpful. But they only had one register open with a long line of people. I've seen that before. The lady who seemed like the manager at the time has a bit of an attitude. I've seen that before too

Can't take the carts in the parking lot and the bags break. They do have a decent selection, particularly holiday decorations.

I like this store, it's not large or overly crowded that I need to worry about social distancing. They usually have the small items I need which I couldn't find in a $.99 store near me. I manage to pick up wrapping paper today and few other items.

Everything was good, until we got on one line for everybody and a 2 women cut the line and then yelled and cursed at us when we called them on it. So not a good experience! 🙄

Worse place ever. The line was all the way down the isle and there was only 1 register open. Store is very dirty and unorganized as well. I will never waste my time again in this store.

Decent quality products for a dollar or less. Greeting cards, cosmetics, snacks, kitchen items, holiday decorations, cold and allergy meds, teacher's classroom supplies, frozen and refrigerated foods, etc.This place is really great.

Worst DollarTree,should be given Zero star , don't go to this place ,there is small guy who is always rude.Whenever someone child has urgency 4 toilet he always deny.Even if kid ask this person he deny and laughs, which is totally insane.Such a bad misbehaving staff should be kicked out instantly.Shame on this DollarTree center.
