Horrible service, complete lack of care. I'm a regular at Holy Shnitzel, and I recently tried their New Orleans Chicken sandwich. It's a delicious sandwich. However, when I ordered it tonight, I got the opposite of what I've been ordering lately. I understand it's a Saturday night, two days before Passover, which can affect the quality due to the rush, but there's something called decency. I received nothing of the New Orleans sandwich. Instead of two thick, delicious, crunchy, flaky pieces of chicken, I got two thin pieces of burnt cornflake chicken. Additionally, I didn't get any of the special sauce or coleslaw, only a few pickles. Basically, it's a dry sandwich.The least they could have done was call me and let me know they couldn't make the sandwich for me or just cancel the order, instead of giving me something so bad that bears zero resemblance to the sandwich I ordered.Attached below are two photos: one with the correct sandwich and one with the incorrect sandwich. Could be so much better if they stopped being lazy and had gluten free bread. Their food is ok but nothing to rave about.. feels very quickly thrown together... It's not gourmet by any means but will fill you up. The sandwiches are a decently big size. Their burger meat has really no seasoning, it could be so much better if they made it Mediterranean style.

For a kosher business, I am shocked that they don’t have a sink to wash your hands before you eat.I ordered a brisket burger. I suspected it would look more like a burger, just with brisket flavoring. Boy I was wrong. The sandwitch has fatty brisket on the bottom of a thin sliced piece of chicken cutlet and onions. I wish the chicken was thicker and onion were crispy. The bun was soggy. The cashier didn’t understand me. I was speaking English. I ordered around 2:00.

I wish I could rate Holy Schnitzel higher because their food is absolutely delicious. However, my recent experiences have been consistently disappointing due to excessively long wait times. For the third time in a row, I placed my order online, only to arrive at the store and be told that there was a 45-minute wait. Fair enough, I thought, and I arrived promptly. But shockingly, I was then informed that it would be at least another 45 minutes to an hour before my order would be ready.The store seems overwhelmed with both in-store customers and online orders. It's chaotic, to say the least. I observed Uber and Doordash drivers waiting for their orders for upwards of 30-40 minutes, and many customers were walking in and immediately walking out upon seeing the disarray.It's truly a shame because the food quality is outstanding. However, the frustratingly long wait times make it difficult to justify returning. Management seriously needs to address this issue to provide a better customer experience.

During my recent visit to Holy Schnitzel, a restaurant that I had previously considered a favorite, I encountered a deeply disappointing experience. Despite explicitly requesting a 7:00 pickup time for my sandwich, I received a text notification at 6:30 stating that it was ready. When I called to address the discrepancy, the staff claimed they hadn't prepared it yet. Eventually, when I received the sandwich, it was disappointingly soggy, with the meat slightly cold. This lack of timeliness and subpar quality left me feeling dissatisfied and questioning the attention to detail at Holy Schnitzel.The disheartening aspect of this encounter was further amplified by the manager's dismissive attitude during our conversation. Instead of offering a genuine apology or seeking a resolution, the manager seemed indifferent to my concerns and showed a lack of empathy. Such behavior not only failed to address the issue at hand but also displayed a lack of professionalism and customer-oriented approach.The soggy sandwich, resulting from the substantial delay in preparation, significantly impacted the overall enjoyment of my meal. The bread had lost its desired texture, becoming unappealingly soft, and the meat lacked the warmth and freshness one would expect from a made-to-order item. This discrepancy between the requested pickup time and the actual preparation time highlighted a lack of attention to customer preferences and adherence to basic quality standards.Considering my recent experience, I am left with reservations about recommending Holy Schnitzel to others. Until they demonstrate a commitment to timeliness and address the issue of dismissive managerial behavior, it is difficult to have confidence in the dining experience they provide. I sincerely hope that the owner of Holy can take this into account.

Today was my first time ever trying Holy Schnitzels food. As a matter a fact, today was my first time ever eating at a kosher restaurant. I am an African American and I wanted to try something new. I was greeted with respect by the cashier. My order was made very fast, I did not have to wait long at all. My opinion on the burger I had is, it was good. It was way different from what I am used to since I’ve never eaten at a kosher restaurant. The food was good and I will most definitely come back. It is a bit expensive but I understand why. Their pastries filling was delicious as well. I highly recommend this place.

Absolutely horrific experience. Spent $600 for a family event to be delivered. After an hour of waiting for delivery at the scheduled time and numerous attempts to call for an update, we sent a family member to pick up. Once we got the food it was cold and pretty much inedible. Tried calling after the fact to discussed and was given the run around. Had to speak to the night manager finally after a week or two we finally reached them. Extremely unprofessional and unhelpful. This is the second time this has happened to us. We decided to give a second chance. Never again.

Second time I ordered from here, second time I was let down. Ordered cholent and poppers at 10pm. Took Uber over an hour to get the food (which I can’t only blame on them, I saw the driver waiting there for over 20 min). I get the order- it’s missing the cholent and the poppers are stone cold and completely unappetizing. I called the store and asked why they couldn’t update the order in the app before they sent it out so I could’ve ordered something else. Also had no answer for why they didn’t cancel it out on their end so I wouldn’t be charged for it, which I was. No real answers and zero care. Excuse I was provided was that they were busy. Not planning on returning. I can see many others experienced the same or similar issues that I have, owner always leaves a stock response. The right way to deal with these situations is to issue a refund and hope the goodwill gesture convinces the customer to give you another shot.

I ordered through Uber eats a couple of minutes before closing but that’s no excuse for dry food, aside from that all three items I bought were completely unbalanced in flavor and just overpowered with heat, brisket dry and chewy, pastrami was ok but didn’t work in the sandwich, chicken dry, bread was not bad maybe the only highlight of the sandwich

Had a great time here last night. We were in town around 9 pm and walked in for a late dinner/early midnight snack :-). Misjudged the portions (they are larger than it seems) and over-ordered somewhat.Falafel platter was excellent, - tasty falafel and nice chummus was liked by everyone. Buffalo chicken fingers also great - soft chicken and nice crunchy coating, excellent all around. Shwarma tasted regular-grilled and not from a traditional shwarma grill you see often in the Middle East, but was good.My little one was less enamored with her kids meal hamburger - meat was good but bun overburnt slightly - it was still quite edible. The kids meal also came with a toy heart that my kid was super-excited about :-)Likely one of the best fries around (both spicy and regular). Paid about $75 for everything with the drinks included. Very good deal, polite people and a good place for a late snack.Very happy to come again.

I used to like this place. Placed an order with AN HOUR advance notice (which they say to expect) and not only didn't get the food until after an hour and forty five minutes, but they wouldn't even apologize. They sent out a text after 55 minutes that the good is on the way yet when we called the store after 90 minutes and still no food, they said "oh those texts go out automatically".No apologyNo owning up to poor service.Oh...And no longer have these customers.

5 dollars on Uber eats for a “baby burger” add on the size of a quarter. You guys should be ashamed. Also found a hair in the schnitzel sandwich. Never ordering here again.To answer the owners response: No, it was your restaurant. I’ve been a regular for a long time. I ordered through Uber eats the kids hot dog and there was an option to add a “baby burger” for 5 dollars. At first I couldn’t find it in the kids box and thought surely you forgot it. Turns out it was the size of a quarter. (I ordered two and they were both the same size).

Placed order at 5:56.Received notification "ready for pickup" at 6:16.Walked in at 6:25 and was told it's not ready.Asked again at 6:45 and the person found the order- ONE CHICKEN WRAP sitting on the counter waiting to be bagged.Got to my car and opened the bag-1- It was cold, probably because it was waiting to be bagged for 30 minutes AND2- The wrap was not cut in half.Seeing the dysfunction there, it wasn't worth going back.In the time I was there, I observed other customers who were all frustrated with the service. No one complained about the food quality, just the wait time and the lack of communication from the staff.I think they need more workers to resolve some of their issues. The problem is that there may not be room behind the counter to fit anyone else.I will not be going back.There are other local places I can spend money and get better service.

The food is great here, the staff is very helpful, but have to take off a star as this is almost always a long wait for food, many times without telling the customer (or being very wrong after telling the customer)Update: my original review was 5 years ago and nothing has changed. You can. Order 2 hours in advance and still food won't be ready. The hot dog was completely burned, they ignored all the order requests and I had to fight for a credit for their mess ups. Have to deduct 2 stars since they clearly have no interest in customer service.

I wish I remembered the gentleman’s name, but the tall individual with the ponytail working in the kitchen was extremely helpful, he went above and beyond his responsibilities for the customers. As a business owner myself, I would be extremely happy and assured knowing that I had employees working for me that took the customer experience as seriously as this gentleman did. Although, the kitchen staff was extremely under pressure being that they we’re bombarded with tons of orders he made sure to rectify the situation, keeping a calm and friendly composure and handing out complimentary orders for anyone who had been waiting for longer than an hour for their orders. It’s employees like these that allow businesses to lap their competitors. Well done Holy Shnitzel for your hiring efforts, it definitely payed off.
