I went in to take my wife out for a bite on Sunday night. The food all freshly made from the sandwich to the fries and the southern fried chicken. I got the pastrami with chicken sandwich and it is good for 2 meals. The fries were not oily neither the regular nor the sweet potato. The wait for the food was not long at all. My wife ordered the special 2 piece chicken with fries. Slushies were good despite my brain freeze. The staff behind the counter explained the sandwich menu very simply and was very courteous and kind. Kudos. Please stop in and you won't be disappointed.Dietary restrictions: They had gluten free fried chicken fingers. Kosher everything

Fast food. Nice location. That's why I give it 3 stars. My order took less than 10 minutes. Location has a nice design, despite 3 extra large screens self promoting Chickies events. My disappointment is in the hype vs experience. Even at the front counter, there were two people telling me that this location is trying to differentiate from other Chickie locations and set a higher standard. They said the food is better, and that portions are generous. As you can see from uploaded photos, it's $24 for a poppers with fries - and the small boxes have plenty of room for generosity. Spicy fries can use some flavor. Some of nuggets are small and dried out. If this combo was 13.99, the review might have been higher because the expectation would meet the hype. Again, the design and speed of the store is great. But now I have to go fill up somewhere else.

One of the few places open late in that area. Clean and bright restaurant with friendly service. The food was not the best, though. The fried chicken had a taste of old or rancid oil. Maybe it's fried with canola oil, which can give a fishy or sometimes rancid taste. Some chicken pieces were a little undercooked on the inside and appear to be properly cooked on the outside. Wings had too much batter/dredging on it.

Very reasonable pricing for amazing and high quality food, great customer service. Managers and workers both did great with serving and getting my food out fast. Definitely recommend and will definitely come back.

I am very disappointed that I have not made it to Chickies until now! The food was insanely good, fresh and hot. No soggy veg but crisp lettuce and tomatoes. Sandwich bread was soft with a crispy crust. Chicken was seasoned perfectly and cooked to perfection. Even though it is in middle of summer at 10pm at night, there was a constant stream of people coming in to order. The screens on the walls were slightly annoying distraction and it could have done with some background music but I will definitely be coming back here again.Update: The sandwiches were just as great as previously but the fries were disappointing - not crisp at all. The empanadas are a great hit! Here was my review: I went into Chickies on Central Avenue for the first time on Tuesday. The store was very clean and the staff was very polite and friendly. I ordered the fried chicken. It was the best fried chicken I have ever had. It was seasoned just right and the chicken was very moist. It was so good that I ordered more to take home, and the next day it tasted just as good. I will definitely go back to get some more.

I decided to make a stop off here for quick bite to eat on my way back to Jersey. I ordered the schnitzel + pastrami sandwich (and added some extra toppings and sauces). It was AMAZING! Fresh, tasty, filling. I was only able to get through half the sandwich before I was full. I was helped by Mark who was great and kind. Really really impressed from start to stomach.

Portions are ridiculous. And the food is great. One sandwich can fill two people. And reasonably priced. Chickies if you are reading this. Please don't make your sandwiches smaller. This is not a complaint it's a compliment.

The food is an issue but not one I am here to speak about today. I ordered a drink, and the blind guy had the audacity to leave it out of my order. After driving all the way back there, instead of apologizing and giving me a few drinks, and maybe some cookies (maybe a sandwich), the man simply denied the acquisition.

Prices are a tad higher but that’s bc the sandwiches are bigger. The bread is way better than other restaurants but it actually makes it harder to finish a whole sandwich bc its less airy . Pollo Estrada sandwich is actually very very spicy so beware.Overall, delicious!

Expensive but large portions. Shnitzel is very good. Sandwiches are huge, but pretty basic: shnitzel, veggies, sauce. No shenanigans, nothing too fancy. Poppers very good. Chicken nuggets need a little work. Fantastic garlic Mayo.
