This is one of the amazing place we have been. Basically it's not a farm to make business. It's a sanctuary. Kurt saved a lot of animals and he turned it into free roaming for them. He raised them with love. He explained about their nature. He gave us turkey, chicken and duck eggs as gifts. I encouraged people to visit and support this farm. Again, thanks Kurt.

We visited the sanctuary during a weekend trip and were so glad we came. I have never seen happy farm animals that are able to do what they please and enjoy their lives. Kurt is friendly and knowledgeable, and took us for a tour. His dedication and craftsmanship (he built all the structures on the property) is very impressive. Me and my partner came to the sanctuary for a day trip and it was one of the nicest experiences we’ve ever had. Kurt was so nice and taught us so much about his mission and the animals in his care. Kurt and his journey and admiration to rescue these animals is truly touching. The love he has for his animals is amazing. The animals are extremely friendly and love being pet and cuddled. And-Hof is amazing. All the animals are walking around free and live together. They are so cuddly and friendly. Had a great time seeing the pigs, petting the donkeys and goats and sheeps, there are so many chickens, ducks, etc. My toddler was very excited, and we learned so much. Highly recommend visiting here, I hope to come back in the summer. They depend on donations, so please donate as much as you can.

My husband and I visited during our week stay in the Catskills. I'm so glad we did. The animals couldn't be better taken care of. They look so happy and free. Kurt truly loves all of them. His respect and dedication to the animals is admirable. I highly recommend visiting his sanctuary and donating anything you can to help these and many more amazing animals in need.

My family and I came to visit this animal sanctuary over the weekend and we were really humbled by the work done at this animal sanctuary. Kurt dedicates almost all of his time and effort taking care of these saved animals and it is a relief seeing work like this being done. The animals live in harmony with one another and it is a blessing to have people like Kurt take ownership of something like this. Definitely worth the visit for folks who like animals and want to see progress being made in this front.

We had such a great time today at this farm animal rescue sanctuary. My three kids — as well as my husband and I— loved it and it was a truly unique experience for the whole family to meet around 300 rescued animals who are so friendly and happy, and really well taken care by Kurt —the owner— who has such a strong commitment for their well-being. Kurt does the amazing work (fully supported by donations only) of creating a safe haven for abused or neglected animals from domestic homes or industral farms, while upholding a holistic philosophy of permaculture to create a sustainable environment for people, animals, and nature. He deserves much more exposure and support for the wonderful work he is doing. This place is a must see!

With more than 300 farm animals roaming free, this is hands down one of the best experiences an animal lover can have. The owner cares deeply about rescuing animals and also considerate of the environment. What a refreshing place for those of us used to seeing animals locked up in small cages or used as mere commodity. The animals here are happy and well taken care of. We definitely recommend visiting this place and would love to support in any way possible. Thanks for the great tour, we’ll be back soon.
