Vickie always has cats up for adoption. Lots of older and younger cats that need homes. sometimes kittens. Shelter is always clean and they don't use cages. They fix, treat, and rehome hundreds of cats every year, all by donations.

A combo thrift store/yard sale, and cat adoption center. You get to pick the price that you want to pay for the items that you buy. I’ve only been here once, due to its odd location, but I’ve been wanting to return to this store. My sister and I loved petting the cats as we searched around the store for good bargains. I recall that the store spanned across the garage and a few tents, so make sure you’re dressed properly for the weather. And call ahead to make sure the thrift store is open before driving out here. Worth a stop if you’re going to Letchworth!

They work with you and make sure you get the best for your needs. They are all friendly and the process does not take too long. Will definitely adopt from them again!

I got a cat with my partner from this shelter. The kitten ended up dying from a deadly virus within a week of having him. We had no records for him and don't really know much about his history. She continued to lie about his history throughout the time we were trying to treat him. The cost of treating him was about $1k all because she puts healthy cats and sick cats in the same environment. I wouldn't advise getting a kitten from here they aren't properly taken care of and you will pay the price of her animal neglect.

I recently adopted a kitten named ringo, he was sick and skinny. We paid $500 to go to the ER for them to tell us that he is dehydrated and underweight. We soon found out he had parvo as he died in our arms a week after we got him.

My daughter goes to college near this shelter. She adopted 2 kittens about a month ago. The kittens were given to her too young and very sick. The kittens are anemic from fleas and also have worms. This past Sunday one of the kittens got very sick. My daughter rushed it to the Vet ER where the little kitty died. My daughter is devastated and out $500. Asking around, I hear nothing good about this shelter. These kittens were NOT properly taken care of at this shelter!!!

We were looking for a young female kitten, and short haired. They told us when to come so there would be choices. We found the sweetest little girl and she has been a wonderful pet. Healthy. Happy. And we had her spayed at 6 months instead of 6 weeks like other places do. The folks we spoke with were very nice, friendly, and helpful.

I got a kitten here on December 21st and had to put the kitten down 2 days ago. The kitten also wasn’t the age that the lady told me he was. The lady insisted that I just feed the kitten b’s baby food and that he would be alright. Turns out the kitten had panleukopenia and was suffering.

I recently adopted an older cat named Tom from there. He gave me all the paperwork and said he was perfectly healthy when in fact we brought him to the vet and his rabies certificate was falsely filled out and he had FIV. The lady I got them from wouldn’t even give me the name of his vet so I can confirm he got all his vaccines and his neutering. I personally hope the shelter doesn’t continue to run like this. Not only are the cats suffering but the adopters don’t know what’s actually going on with him due to lack of testing.

This is a non-for profit , No-Kill shelter that takes in any sort of cats. The volunteers are super nice and all they ask is a small donation and 100% of donations goes towards the cats. I got 2 cats from this shelter and they are the most friendly and down-to earth cats. They come fixed, have updated shots and paperwork if you decide to adopt!
