Immediately on walking in this beautifully restored restaurant you are soothed with an amazing ambiance, warmth, and comforting atmosphere. The exposed stone behind the bar is my favorite part of the downstairs vibe.. all senses are hit. This is complimentary to the ‘No rush’ atmosphere they push. Treat yourself to a (massive) meal here and you will find yourself eating from your togo box for the next three days! I had the shrimp and veggies, the chicken Parm and strip steak were also ordered at my table. They were not taking reservations at this time, and the food came out fast along with the drinks. Service was awesome!!! Jackie was are server and was on point- Amber helped us initially at the bar and helped us to the perfect table. Lots of variety on draft, and was informed it was an all girls night working from the back of the house to the front, running the entire place. Big props to these guys! I’ve also attended a St Patrick’s Day event here where I had a perfectly plated Corned Beef & Cabbage plate which also provided me with 3 amazing days of food, again. The events and musicians are definitely something on my todo list… can’t wait to get back! Nick Stoner Inn Seafood & Steakhouse is a hidden gem with amazing and delicious food that I highly recommend! I recently learned about this restaurant and have gone there multiple times this year, including for my birthday where I enjoyed a 50 oz. tomahawk steak and 4 lb. whole lobster! Each time I went the food was incredible and their 50 oz. tomahawk steak (while supplies last when they offer them as a special) is the best steak I have ever had! The owners are appreciative of their customers and go out of their way to ensure you have a delicious meal. I highly recommend going!Tip for new customers: I would recommend making a reservation days in advance as they often get booked and I would also recommend making a reservation for 60-90 minutes before the time you normally eat as it isn’t uncommon to wait at least 1 hour between when you place your order and your entree arrives. Trust me, the food is well worth the wait!

The dinner here is an experience that will have you returning. Reservations are highly recommend. The poutine is the best I have ever had. Portions are large so be prepared to take home enough for lunch the next day.Dietary restrictions: They have great gluten free options

The food was fantastic! If not slightly overpriced. You can find lobster, prime rib and rib eyes that are just as good and cheaper at other places. I wasn't particularly thrilled with the atmosphere. It was kind of like eating in a barn. It was certainly clean but some of the decor did not match the thing they were going for. At least on my opinion. Kitchen staff did an amazing job albeit it. It took 2 hours after we ordered to get our food. I found this to be unacceptable.Now that I've been there, I doubt I will return it.Parking: The parking lot was just on the north side of horrendous! Unpaved , icy and no handrails on the steps. Anyone coming in with heels on would have a difficult time. We saw three different women nearly fall because of the icy conditions.

Hands down a culinary experience that you don't want to miss! The steaks and seafood are out of this world! Fresh, great portions, perfectly seasoned, and they have a large selection of wines, beer, as well as tasty craft cocktails. The restaurant is family owned and operated and they are very nice hardworking people. I highly recommend dining there! 🍽

This place has the BEST menu, freshest food and homemade everything. While running short staffed, like most family operated businesses these days, you still get a beautiful atmosphere, wonderful quality and dining experience. If you're expecting "in and out" go to a drive thru. All good things are worth the wait and trust me, Nick Stoner is worth it!

My expectations were very high when we came here. I love the atmosphere, really good music. The menu only has about ten select meals, they make when you order. Nothing is precooked. When meal came, it was amazing! The steaks were really good cuts,cooked to perfection. We also had the seafood dish... Wow! I'm totally impressed!

March 2nd I had the pleasure of dining out at your beautiful Restaurant. The food was excellent and the portions were massive. One will be feasting on their meal for 3 days. So freshly prepared! All the staff were awesome and never rushed you as one took in the relaxing atmosphere. I had the special, rib eye steak with scallops, shrimp and lobster tail. The entertainment was fabulous!!!!! Brian D is out of this world!!! I enjoyed one of your specialty drinks. Mixed to perfection. It is a night I shall always remember and I will come back and highly recommend your restaurant!!!! Many thanks!!!!!

Truly a hidden gem. This place has amazing food that will spoil every other place for you. My wife and I found our new go to restaurant. It was worth the drive. I had Rolotinni and it was delicious. My wife had Salmon and it was amazing. We also had fried clams as an appetizer. The salad was the best I ever had. Finally didn't have to add more dressing! The fresh bread was so good we gobbled it all up. You can tell they take pride in their food quality. Don't miss this place!

Was really excited to experience their food! Saw a fb post of weekend menu and upon arrival the lunch menu was very limited in comparison to the fb post... we ordered chili dogs and fries (fries were amazing) the buns from the hotdogs were beautifully toasted.. the hot dogs were ok qnd the chili was very tomatoe-y .. their mexican spinach artichoke dip was nothing but heat.. it over powered the real taste of the dip.. BUT the chips were AMAZING... .. just really sad we missed out on what looked like great seafood

Early dinner with fall hours, French Onion soup wsz good, surprised with nice fresh salad and bread, my steak was cooked perfectly. Too many fries to eat! Sautéed mushrooms were the perfect accent for the steak. My wife had the chicken and Broccoli Alfredo and it was awesome. We both had to bring some home. A nice surprise was a 2 person band named 'Deraeled' playing a bunch of great songs, not the usual hits, but the b sides (I know I'm dating myself). We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and sang along to many of them. Love that the Nick Stoner Inn is in business and continues to prosper!

First time going to celebrate my husband's birthday last night and it was absolutely AMAZING. The staff were so nice to us and we can tell they were working hard to keep everyone satisfied. Even the regulars greeted us. The drinks were so good and the food OMG delicious 😋 with huge steak cuts. We will definitely be going back for date nights. We LOVE Nick Stoner's!The owners go above and beyond to special order our little guy (Worlds pickiest eater) fried clams each time we visit with a click of a button. They've always sent weekly updates of specials as a courtesy and we've enjoyed many meals here. I was there a week ago for my birthday and the cook made the BEST salmon I've EVER had and I've had it EVERYWHERE! Crispy bottom and portions are always overflowing and end up coming home in containers for an additional meal later.. The wait may be a little long at times however I'm happy to have FRESH, HOT FOOD when it arrives every time!

Took our waitress 20 minutes from when we entered to come to our table. We were the only table there other than a couple at the bar. Took another hour after that to get our food. Didn’t receive bread and salad came out after our meal. Food was good. Had the chicken and shrimp special and my husband had the crab sandwich. Restaurant also had a very strong artificial smell, some kind of air freshener but it was a little too much for me.

Normally I don't like to beat up on local establishments, but the last time I was patronizing the place was Sunday and everything was terrible. No food!!! Bar tender was in the wrong profession (not helpful at all, had the doors locked at 3pm until she saw us standing outside). She had probably 10 people at the bar at most, but was down at the end talking so long our drinks were constantly empty. She gave us grief when we had to flag her down just to get a refill or pay our bill. She wiped the same spot on the bar for about 20 minutes while shooting the breeze. Such a nice place to be wasted with terrible staffing.

Really wish I could give a better review but our meals took over 2 hrs... now, they have a sign at the door says to expect an hour wait. That we were ready for. But two+? And two items ordered were undercooked. Won't be going back any time soon.Updated to respond to owner's comment:Thanks for replying. I think updating the sign you have currently saying customers will have an hr wait should read 1-2 hr wait due to training staff. As far as meeting the staff know about the undercooked items, we had already waited 2 hrs to get our meals, we weren't going to wait even longer for the situation to be corrected.
