Bought 3 different freshwater fish and 2 aquatic snails, also lots of aquatic plants for a great price. It’s been a week so far and they’re all doing great. I used to go to aquarium village right around the corner before I found this gem. Been coming here ever since. Great prices, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Great variety of salt water fish. Fish are hardy and never die in me (like you usually hear horror stories of). Highly recommend

Discovered this shop 5 weeks ago and love it. All of the staff is very helpful and friendly. Big shout-out to Roxanne, who is so helpful with the tropical fish and greatly knowledgeable. The shop is clean and has a large stock of pet supplies. Thank you - Pets Warehouse.

I recently bought a 36 glass bowfront top for my tank and i must say i was impressed with the product and timing in shipping. I had concerns about my order and reached out which was promptly addressed. My order was semt overnight and came in flawless.. Pet warehouse is also the ONLY retailer to carry what i needed.. overall good experience!!

The employees were good and they were knowledgeable, I bought 5 fish to try them out, literally all 5 died by the next evening. My tank is fully cycled and all my water parameters are perfect. The fish were drip acclimated, and introduced properly. When I asked if here was anything that could be done they told me there is no guarantee. It wasn’t a large amount of money but I’m unhappy with my experience.

Amazing selection for aquatics (which is the stores main focus). I’m new to the hobby, and I can’t express enough how knowledgeable the staff are about fish care and maintenance. The employees at Pets Warehouse are welcoming, informative and kind. Two young gentleman helped me out to pick out the best supplies on my preference and helped me pick out fish that are compatible with each other. Unlike a department store like (petco, and petsmart) PETS WAREHOUSE staff have a passion for fish keeping and actually know all information on how to have a successful fish community tank.

The place is great for fresh water fishes. They have a vast collection of fresh water fish. This place also has salt water fish collections too.PS: if you are looking for any reptiles, birds, hamsters etc. Then this place is not for you.

I came here last week because I needed a couple of nerite snail. In the fish section there was a short Asian guy who asked if I needed any help. He was rude about it but I thought he was just socially awkward. He said there weren’t many snails left. There was one in a plant tank that was moving and I took that one, and there were two in this cloudy empty tank that he guaranteed were alive and that he just moved the sand around that’s why it was cloudy. I should have listened to my guy because why would this guy lie to me for no reason?Well the snail was definitely already dead. It was dead and remained dead.I’m just going to go to one of the smaller fish stores near me from now on, at least I won’t get sick/ dead animals from a rude person without any social skills.

Wow wow wow. This place is the absolute best! Out of all places I ever go to for my aquatic needs - this place tops them all. Mike is awesome, he’s knowledgeable and helpful! The amount of beautiful saltwater fish they have is incredible. Great prices, huge variety of coral, fresh and saltwater fish, my new go to place.

Been coming here for years. They have a really good selection of fish I heard they are a distributor in the area. explains the huge selection. Prices are reasonable. The experience depends on the employee that happens to be helping you. It's hit or miss. More often than not they are pretty good

By far the best shop to get aquarium supplies. Not only do they have great prices but the fish definitely look healthier then Petco & petsmart! Also, there plants are super affordable and healthy ! I totally recommend! Staff is super friendly & do the best to help you !

Has became one of my go to pet stores if only I lived closer…. I always stop by whenever I am near by. Huge collection of for the most part healthy fish and variety. Staff very nice and informative. On some level it’s cheaper than the pet chain store such as pet smart/Petco. Clean and just awesome!

Great store for aquarium needs. They have a good selection of freshwater fish and they seem to get new & different stock often. You probably won’t see really rare fish but you will get a better selection than most places. They keep their tanks very clean and the fish generally look very healthy. There’s also a good amount of freshwater plants. I’m not into saltwater fish or African cichlids but they seem have a good stock of those as well. They also sell live brine shrimp which is great.

We love coming to Pets Warehouse. Their fish always appear healthy, and the staff is incredibly helpful. They have a large range of products (especially for fish) and the staff is so knowledgeable and willing to talk through your situation and help if you are new to the hobby or need help. They never push a product that you don’t need.

Great experience! I just stopped in to pick up a few things for my tarantula enclosure and walked out with a new terrarium. Best price I've ever seen it for. Staff was very helpful. Will definitely be shopping here again.

First time at this store I usually go to the one in Bohemia which is mid but Carle place WOW. The environment as soon as you walk in is relaxing. They had all the food I needed stocked and many food selections. At the end of my visit when I was ready to pay the worker enlightened me on a better quality food for my picky spoiled cats. I’ve never had such great service, the drive is an hour from me but very worth it.

I come here for the large selection of aquarium supplies. I usually pick up driftwood, plants and live fish from this location. I haven't been to the other locations on long island but I'm interested to see what they carry there as well.

There is a great selection of both freshwater and saltwater fish. I had no idea this place existed until I happened upon it . The staff inside were friendly and welcoming . I will definitely be returning for my fish aquarium needs .

I really like this place for tropical fish. They have a nice selection, fish are healthy, tanks are clean and well lit, and the staff is very Knowledgeable, especially Roxanne. The fish tend to be on the small side, which makes them a little pricey, but they are also fair to the customers and they have a big following. All in all, we'll worth the trip from Queens.

Bought 10 gallons of RO water from them for about $8. Got home and tested the water at 90 PPM on my TDS meter with a hardness of 7.8, RO water should be testing at >10 PPM and that's being generous. Called the store since I figured I probably came at a bad time when the filter was almost run through and wanted to let them know and ask if there'd be an estimated date on the filter change. While talking to a lady from the fish section, I believe she hung up on me the first time. The second time I called, I asked about it again since I did not get any answers and she immediately becomes hostile about it. Saying that she already got it and saying that she'll stop selling the water (which should have been done a while ago imo). Selling water that hard and calling it RO water is negligence on their part. I keep sensitive types of fish and now have 10 gallons of water I can't use for my tanks. It's a shame because the selection is nice but the customer service interaction was awful.

If you want fish, this is the place to go. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and honest! They will straight up tell you if their stock is good to buy or not. Example, I went in for some neons and the worker told me not to buy them because they were weak. You've got to respect that! This is the place, call before you go though because they are popular.....for a reason.

Everyone at pet warehouse was helpful, very nice, and knowledgeable. I've been here 3 times to discuss fish I wanted to put in my tank and Damarly (please forgive my spelling) was absolutely fantastic, he took his time explaining what fish can and can't go in my tank based on size and compatibility. He even showed me what the fish look like as they grow in the stores own tank. I recently had Chris help me as well. Super helpful and knowledgeable, thank you for making my first first buying experience pleasant and easy.

I have to say after shopping and being in the industry for over 30 years If it wasn't for two of their long-term members in the aquatic Marine division there'd be no reason for me to ever come back to the store. The front of the house manager is very uncomfortable to be around unhelpful and other than that it's competitive with all the other stores so if it's conveniently located then do it but otherwise. Nothing's offered above and beyondnothing's offered above and beyond, Doesn't have any any extra knowledge and the actual manager is purely uncomfortable to be around if he has any expertise at all It hasn't been offered over the last few years.
