I love that my furry baby gets so excited to visit Petco for his routine grooming and or take a walk around the store and looks at the goodies that awaits him. The grooming staff puts my furry baby Kingston at ease . He’s looks good smells yummy. Best of all Kingston is very happy. Thank you Petco for always putting a smile on Kingstons face. 😊🐶

Everyone knows how hard it’s been to get grooming appointments these days. I scheduled an appointment in JANUARY for MARCH and was told the DAY BEFORE that they need to cancel due to staff being on medical leave and that only one groomer is working.They should have insight and tell customers at least one week beforehand to cancel these appointments. Now I have to find appointments at least two weeks out. Ridiculous.

Melanni and the manager I believe his name was Alex, were great and very helpful. My dog Benji enjoy his cut and bath. I appreciate being so attentive and will definitely recommend this location.

Rude customer service at the end.employee was yelling at me because I wanted to ask about some type of compensation for them canceling my appointment last minute even though I had to move my schedule around to get my dogs haircut the next day. I even asked to speak to a manager and the manger was yelling at me too saying that if it was such an inconvenience to schedule it a different day but I work a lot of days and had my day off planned for that day and couldn't wait to get my dogs haircut a different day since its the summer and had to call out of work that day. I do not plan on coming back to this location and telling other of my friends to take their business elsewhere and go to a different location.

They were great. They were able to fit my Great Dane in for a grooming on Christmas Eve. She came out smelling great and everyone was so friendly. They recommended a different dog feed for her dry skin.

Julia S. was wonderful. I have a senior dog who gets anxious and especially with working from home due to the pandemic, my dog is very attached to me. Julia S. was patient with my dog and put me immediately at ease. When I walked out I knew my sweet dog was in good hands! Not only was Julia S. great, she did great work and took the time to explain the costs to me and make suggestions on what services I did and did not need to purchase for my dog. My dog looks GREAT and Julia S. did everything she could to make sure my dog wasn't too stressed!

Before I committed to making an appointment for my dog's bath and spa treatment, I spent quite a bit of time observing Sue as she groomed a dog. Her competence and the positive way she interacted with the dog convinced me that the Petco on Glen Cove Road was the best grooming salon for my little girl. That was 13 years ago, and I have never been disappointed.

We were randomly set up with Julia for our first grooming. Ever since then we’ve gone to Julia every time due to her exceptional care. I’m an overprotective dog mom and I HATE leaving my pup with anyone especially in a situation where I fear she may be scared. Julia makes us feel SO much better and I always know that Layla is in good hands when I drop her off. You can tell Julia isn’t just working for a paycheck, she loves dogs and has a kind heart. That makes me feel so comfortable to know that my Layla is with someone who loves dogs as much as I do. Julia is very knowledgeable and always does a great job grooming our girl. Layla can be stubborn and she’s a BIG girl, and Julia is always happy to see her and always gives her the best care. I’m so happy to have peace of mind when I leave my girl.

Only took off points because I stood at the grooming desk for about 10 minutes with no one saying a word to me. Then when I just went to the cashier to ask for help and mention my displeasure, I just got excuses that I was supposed to go to him anyway. But there's no way of knowing that if no one talks to the customer to begin with.
