I was treated today in the most inconsiderate way. Nancy/cashier at your Canton NY store felt it appropriate to have me stand at her check out line with only one item to purchase. A package of King's Hawaii rolls. I wouldn't have even been in your store if Price Chopper had the rolls. Nancy said I would have to wait for the Gentleman man (who by the way is no Gentleman) in front of me. This man had filled the entire checkout belt area and proceeded to return back into the store to pick up additional grocery items. Myself and three others were waiting on this man. Since the cashier Nancy was not checking others out that she could have, she was socializing with other customers and a check out lady. Your other cashiers were filled. Finally you opened number 2 checkout but a lady with a full cart of groceries took that one. I stood and waited. If the rolls I was buying had not been for a little old lady who is ill, I would have left without purchasing them. Nancy should have apologized but she only laughed and was rude to me. I told the man in front of me when I left the store that he was a rude person also. Now I will not return to Canton NY's Save A Lot store and am about to call the manager to make a formal complaint. All that Nancy had to do was check my one item, oh I did grab 4 candy bars while standing in line. Either way, It would have only taking a short moment to get me out of the store before that awful man returned to hold us up further with his inconsideratness.

The place reeks of bleach because whoever mops for them uses bleach for some crazy reason. To the point where the floors are faded. They really should stop before they need to replace their flooring; bleach is corrosive.The selection is very limited but also—not that cheap! I don’t see the benefit of shopping here apart from a one-off deal on something.

Idk if anyone else has noticed but the quality in meat lately is awful. Yesterday I was in there shopping, and I came across some top sirloin, London broils, sirloin tip steaks extremely dark and the date said it had 2 more days…. Their is no way that is correct, to me it looks like someone is rewrapping the products and giving it more days…The pork was no better most of it had a yellow tint to it definitely rotten and the stink. SMH!!!For the cost of items going up why is the quality not the same as before, if not better?

Good prices on everything, but many products are store brands. However, the meat is very well priced and very good quality. They have killer deals on steaks, chicken and chops, all 85% and above hamburg is store ground, nice red color, very tasty. Not like the light pink burger that is prepacked or comes out of a tube.

Great low prices on virtually everything in store. A good variety of products throughout the store as well. Save-a-lot has a lot of inexpensive produce as well which is very useful. A lot of the items are off brand/save-a-lot brand, but I honestly like a lot of their stuff more than other brands.

Excellent produce, cheap Pepsi and Lipton, and a courteous staff. And the meat that is on sale in the ad is extremely worth it. Very good cuts and they'll cut it for you, however thick you want. And it's fresh for the sale.

I come from out of state and compared to the very large grocery store I'm use to shopping at this was easy and fast for a quick run to the store they carry all the basics and I found the customers and staff to be very welcoming adding to its charm.

Great employees are courteous, helpful! Save A Lot always has fresh fruit, vegetables, chicken, pork and beef.They also carry cardiac and diabetic friendly products.Prices are great too!

Clean near organized no frills store usually not a long wait they open more than one if there's four people in line. It's a discount grocery store what do you want? They sell beer now but ironically not cheap.
