I have mixed feelings about Price Chopper--on one hand most of the employees are very helpful and friendly, on the other hand prices are pretty high and there are frequent issues of mislabeled items, missing signage, and out of stock produce. I find that usually when frozen turkeys are on sale they are not labeled on the shelf at all, you just have to pick one up, check out, and hope it is actually the right item. Fairly often meat specials won't actually be out on the shelves or produce sale items will be out of stock. I still shop there a good deal but it can be frustrating at times.

Price hopper in Canton has the best produce, and prices aren't that much diifent than the other grocery stores. Their meat is fresh there cakes are fabulous and most of the staff are kind and courteous. Some are plain rude and shouldn't work the public. But I continue to shop there every week. If you can avoid those people it's a great place to shop....... I still can't say anything bad about Price Chopper in Canton. It's gone up just like everywhere else, but I won't buy my meat anywhere else.

Read story green prices lots of 2 for 1 deals. I enjoy shopping there they're rarely out of anything and have plenty of parking in there free parking It is definitely 1 of the better grocery stores In town I would definitely check it out if you're looking for great products fresh baked bread.

Management is not as good here as at other locations. Half the lights in the freezer section are out making it hard to see what’s inside. It’s a simple, inexpensive fluorescent tube light replacement.One woman in deli openly sulked when her co-worker in bakery wasnt there and she had to slice a loaf for me.Apart from that, I do appreciate the willingness to mark items down on clearance rather than discard. I’ve gotten some deals that way. This is also the place go-toplace for harder to find items that you won’t get at the dollar store or IGA.

Let me tell you...they have a bagger there by the name of Pete. We love him. He is such a friendly man and yet professional. He bags the groceries the correct way and treats the customers so nice. I've observed all the cashiers treat Pete with dignity and in the appropriate manner. Anybody should be proud to work with Pete!

Usually I good experience, nice workers, good variety, I can usually find what I need here. I'd recommend if you are in need of a good meal, they have lots of food options both premade and everything you might need to do it yourself

I work here, and I also shop here every Monday morning. I'll only be talking about the store even though everyone I've met is great, and I really enjoy the work. The store itself is very clean and nice from what I've seen. There are also an insane amount of deals you get at price chopper, and that's one of the main reasons I love shopping there. They also have a great selection. Unless it's some sort of holiday it hasn't been too busy either in my experience. It's always a very chill shopping experience. I will continue to shop here for the foreseeable future.

I don't live in the area so I stopped in to pickup a few things I needed. The staff is very helpful, pleasant to talk with, and professional, the fruits and vegetables looked very fresh. For the store in general very neat, clean and it looked like the store was fully stocked up.

Personally I'm not a fan of the self checkouts, they ask a million questions as if you've never touched a computer before. Maybe that's helpful for some but I want to get in and out. The traditional checkouts never have enough staff either. As far as selection, this location is usually stocked well.

Always my go to store while in Canton, NY. I can buy only certain items here and as always it didnt fail me. The store is very well maintained and the employees always friendly. Some good deals on some food whilst the price of others is very high compared to other Price Choppers. I got everything I needed and was promptly checked out. Recommended if you're looking for variety and high end foods.

For the most part this is a great store. Very clean, great customer service, and great produce. Only problem is sometimes you have to wait in line FOREVER and I absolutely hate that. I hate the self check out section not good when you have a cart full of groceries. Yes it's nice for a couple items and when in a rush but otherwise the self check out section sucks. For one it's their job I don't get paid to do it, but they do, screw that. But yes it's a good store otherwise and carry a ton of great products.

My only complaint was i bought all my gift cards here, Do NOT FALL for the 5x points scam. This is only on fixed value cards. I purchased over $500 worth and could only get the bonus on the fixed value. If it is a variable it doesnt apply. Had I known that I would have altered my purchase!!!!

I love Price Chopper stores! Why? You can get almost anything there, as far as food items go.They have a fully stocked Home Health Care section: just like a pharmacy, without the pharmacy.They have an Automotive section.They have a Home Cleaning section.They have a fully stocked Deli, and ready made meals.They have a Huge Frozen Food section.They have a absolutely wonderful Bakery section, and their breads, cakes, cookies, pies, and specialty items are fantastic!They have a great Seafood section. Many fresh selections daily: Crabs, Clams, Lobsters, Salmon, etc.They have so much more, I can't list the all! If Price Chopper doesn't have it, you might not be able to get.And you won't find a more helpful staff anywhere! It's definitely, the Go-To store!

The Canton store is well lit, reasonably clean, the isles are well marked and most items on sale are generally available in sufficient quantities.Staff is friendly but sparse.Pricing is mostly fair and competitive with the exception of cosmetics, cleaning supplies, paper goods and pet food. You will find significantly lower pricing at big box stores.

The food and selection is the best. They also have great produce but there customer service is less than friendly. Even when I went and got the tag showing the sale price she didn't apologize not happy with that.

Price chopper of Canton, NY, formerly known as P&C, is the go to place for groceries. The store has many checkout stations, well places aisles, and the locals are friendly. Someone once told me I had a nice jacket as I was readng a newspaper that they give for free at the front store... I've been to Food Lion, Kroger, and many other grocery stores, but this one is my top favorite. They have nice fresh seafood, too. Their seafood is live, fresh, and costs less compared to other stores.Overall, five stars is a good starting point.

Always clean even the bathroom. Foods are fresh. Staff are friendly and helpful. Pharmacy staff have explained how our medicine works and if I should watch for side effects.

Struggle at checkout with using coupons - should've been a $1.50 saving but resulted in raising my total $15.00 and not crediting us for gas points. When attempting to rectify the situation there was no staff available at customer service. A very polite shift supervisor attempted to find the customer service staff but was unsuccessful. She showed us the sign that suggest the customer service counter is closed at 9. It is now 9:15 in the car heading home after being cashed out at 8:47 with no solution other than asked to come back tomorrow morning.

Has pretty much everything I need, and if I want something they don't have, I just ask them to order it. Very accommodating! On the rare occasion I've gotten produce home and it didn't meet my expectations, I spoke to the manager the next time I was in the store and it was made right. Excellent customer service!

The product I was looking for was not available. I needed a motorized chair to get about. I found them when I left the store. Normally this store is one of the best Price Chopper's around round. Great vegetable offerings. Clean restroom.

Felt forced to use self checkout because lines were so long. The girl (from behind the lottery counter) who assisted was grouchy and made an unpleasant situation even moreso with an unhappy attitude. Produce is always good and sale prices are good as well.

I do product resets thru a separate company at the area price choppers I've come to realize I was missing a lot not shopping with them previously our store are pretty awesome and I've come to really like price chopper

Best grocery store I was ever in. And we owned one all my life so I know a good store when I see one. Unbelievable produce and meat. They produce is strictly top shelf as well as their meat. This is the one in canton that we shop. Wont buy groceries any where else.

I shop there alot. There fruits and Vegetables are always fresh not Brown and Shriveled up. Meat Has Always been good. Workers are always Helpful and Friendly.

Good shopping experience. Very efficient at the Deli. I would recommend the Sweet Thai Chili rotisserie chicken. It is not spicy but keeps the chicken moist.
