LOVE this place!! It's like visiting friends, everyone is friendly and helpful. I've visited so often that they have even asked if I wanted my "usual". Definitely worth the trip. They even have dairy free Dole Whip in different flavors (which changes). Their soft serve changes almost weekly (depending on how fast it sells out). My youngest son took the pictures so hopefully you can read and find them helpful.

You can't call it oreo and use generic oreo. Nice place and good ice cream but using non brand name and calling it brand name is not a good business practice. And having napkins out would be nice..

We absolutely LOVE Zems! The service is always fast and the ice cream is so good! They even went out of their way to create a pint sized "Flight of Ice Cream" for our little guy and he loved it!

The web site says open till 8 pm I drove from Bernhards Bay to grab some ice cream and was extremely disappointed they weren't open 😞

Great place for ice cream they have a car show there through the summer months. Lots to choose from. Girls behind the counter are very friendly. When busy there are several girls to take your order. The line moves quickly.

Love taking the family here every year! First trip on their opening day was a little rainy so we ate our ice cream inside but were pleasantly surprised with the updated arcade game area and the Sweet Candy Shop. Can't wait to go back many times this summer and enjoy the put-put area as well😄🍦🍨

This place was so fun! The mini golf course was old but still alot of fun to play. 18 holes and only 4 dollars for 2 people. There is a small arcade and candy shop inside. The ice cream can only be payed for in cash. It's only 20 minutes form Chittnango Falls.

Service is quick and friendly. They have a wide range on their sundae menu which is awesome. Then the baked goods to take home are just as good. We usually get an ice cream sandwich to go and cut it into quarters since they are so big.

Family owned, huge menu board, lots of fun, creative treats and nice employees. Zems also has a miniature golf course and arcade. But perhaps their best feature is their incredible homemade fudge. Insanely good! Make sure to go inside to the small throwback candy store and get some of that fudge! :)

Attended a birthday party that was held there for a 5yr old during the winter months. Staff was polite. The family supplied their own food, drinks and treats. They had games for the kids to play. The kids really enjoyed themselves.

Huge selection of treats at affordable prices. We get something different every time we go, and we've never been disappointed. They also have great service, and everyone is friendly and polite. This is definitely our family's favorite place to get ice cream!

Once again great service and a great product. The only place in Canastota where you see the owner out washing tables and talking to all the customers, making them feel welcome. We had a large group of people and they were able to serve us really quickly and did it with the best of attitudes.

You can get ice cream and sundaes Play miniature golf. Indoors they have a bakery and candy shop and games to play inside. So there's a lot more than just ice cream here.

Every person I meet that works here is always friendly and makes me feel welcome. I never get anything I've ordered back at it be wrong. They know what they're doing. And I love that you actually see the owner work there or simply show up to see how things are going. I don't see that much from other places.

The owners are friendly and one of the kindest people you'll ever meet. They have just about any flavor imaginable and they always run different flavors of the week! For the money the portions are pretty generous. If you go away dissatisfied it's your own fault!

Great family-owned, ran and oriented place. Rick does a lot for the community and has the best ice cream in the central New York area. Never too busy to serve you in a timely fashion, always somewhere to park, and most days throughout the season there is other events happening here. It not always about the ice cream.9months later, the seasons open again. And as always Rick has upgraded, and expanded. Giving more to offer to the community.

Zems is an amazing family run ice cream and candy shop. Please don’t listen to the negative comments about the owner and an incident with a dog. It’s a lie, and they are just trying to tarnish his name and hard work. Rick is a great guy, and this is an amazing establishment.

Get the Zemwich!! Huge ice cream cookie sandwich at a great price! Or the pistachio soft serve if its on tap, hard to find places that do more than chocolate and vanilla, they like to switch it up. Appreciate variety and quality!
