We always love stopping at Scoops while in Canandaigua. It has been fun to see how it has changed over the years. Loved their ice cream themed seating. They have huge portions. The kids that work there are upbeat and friendly.

Its easy to scoop ice scream, anyone can do it but what made Scoops Ice Cream special is the team work you see and how hard these young ladies that worked that day hustled with long lines while being patient, courteous and attentive on a hot day. Thank you for that experience, you can never go wrong with Perry’s Ice Cream either 🍦.

Most epic ice cream stop ever! They have Perry's (which is very good) and a very large selection. We ordered a flight of 6 ice creams to share as a little afternoon dessert. I order flights of beer all the time. We'd just done some wine tastings the day before. This was no flight in the sense of small portions to try. No, these were 6 LARGE scoops! If I would have known, I would have had the salad for lunch. 😆 Seriously, we couldn't finish the ice cream. But it was sooo good. The white lightning is highly recommended!

I was sitting here enjoying my icecream when these two employees verbally harassed my friend to pay them for his icecream even though he had already payed 10 minutes before. They proceeded to not let my friend finish his icecream unless he payed. I do not recommend this place unless you want to get scammed.

Nice staff, cute sitting areas with ice cream shaped tables and chairs. Nice view of the lake and short distance from the pier. Good amount of ice cream per price and flavor selection.

After asking to get a couple tastes before picking a flavor, we were told the company doesn't allow it. Given all the positive reviews, I decided to try a flavor I've liked at other ice cream stores but was disappointed when I tasted artificial flavor in my chocolate with brownie chunks. How disappointing that the price was over $5.00 for a single scoop of a poor quality product!

I recently booked the scoops ice cream truck for a special event of about 100 people. The truck and ream arrived right in time and was spotless! The perfect ice cream truck. A wonderful variety of ice cream and toppings were offered. Leading up to the event they made planning and communication very easy. I highly recommend and will use Scoops again!

Stopped by as a first time customer to the company and the Canandaigua location, eager to try the dairy free peanut butter with chocolate cookies. It was the only Dairy Free flavor I saw on the board. I have a severe allergy with milk/dairy, so I was super excited to see a PB+Chocolate combo available. I walked up to the window, and asked to try a sample of it. I was told by the girl working there that they “dont do samples”. What? I felt that was completely unfair. Any ice cream should be available to try a small sample of, at any ice cream shop. Dairy free ice cream is hit or miss, and not offering a sample is poor business behavior. Either the girl was lazy, or the company is greedy enough to not want to loose a tenth of a penny of profits on a small sample. Very disappointed and wont be trying any other Scoops locations. I walked away empty handed.

Decent prices, quick service. Got a twist and it was very good. The flavor was not too light but not too rich and the texture was VERY creamy. My dad said it was the best twist he's had all year so far.

I was sitting down enjoying my ice cream then I was disrupted by two employees telling me I didn’t pay enough mean while this is ten minutes after I payed already. Totally un professional and for some young kids times are Tough. They came up and stole my money from me even though I already payed do not recommend. Also I extremely dislike the one employee, she stands out.

We stopped in on July 4th just as ring of fire was in full swing. There was about 20 people before us. They got to us within 15 min. Had our order in hand within 3 min. 2 small cones and a root beer float were about $17. Services was great, ice cream was yummy, and of course the only hiccup for us was a small cone being $5 😔 but it is what it is.

To Dom & Trevor below. I was literally standing behind you in line, and sat next to you at a table. The staff realized immediately that you were $1 short on your order. They approached you as soon as the line let up a bit. The girl who approached you was very friendly. In fact, she said it was fine if you didn't have another dollar, and she offered to pay it herself. Listening to you sit at a table mocking a bunch of teenager girls and then seeing you post pictures of them (minors) speaks to your character. Grow up.

Never had one bad experience there, the staff is always very kind and friendly. I personally know one of the staff members and she treats customers with the same kindness and generosity she treats her friends and family with and is the definition of a hard worker

Overpriced worst smallest milk shake practically had no milk just ice cream with strawberry syrup I took a sip and could not drink it I was not satisfied with the product and wanted them to replace it this was no milk shake will never come here again.

I had an amazing experience with polite staff tonight at scoops! When you walk up you’re greeted by the (probably teenage) staff working there. Where I come from good service in younger workers is few and far between. But these guys, I was blown away. Super polite, kind, and warm. I wound up ordering and then realizing I didn’t have my card. They were very understanding and offered to put it in a freezer for me while I went and got my card a few minutes away. When I got back they rescooped the ice cream and made my shakes. Perfect service! They were just very friendly making conversation and just welcoming. Highly recommend. Kudos to whoever is running this joint. Your staff is top notch!

Great ice cream at great prices. The staff was a little stand offish, but it is worth it for the delicious ice cream and a low cost.The portions are HUGE, we took my daughter and her friends for her birthday and we got 8 kiddie cones (which are huge) for $12.

Best ice cream in the region! The sundaes are excellent. Perfect summer dessert spot steps away from the lake. No inside eating, but adorable outside seating that looks like ice cream cones. Very quick service, lines move very quickly, reasonable pricing.

Long lines, but get through pretty quickly. The service was good: friendly young girls. Get delicious ice cream and a really good amount for the price. I paid less for 5 people to eat here than I would for 4 in the nearby town that I live in. Scoops is a great place for ice cream!! Can't wait to go again!

Working in customer service is not easy because you have to take care of all different kind of people. Some are nice and some are not. But you have to deal with it with respect. I went to eat ice cream with my family. Their was one of the girls that when she saw us her face expression said a lot of things. And none were good. She didn't help us out and another girl came and took our order. She didn't help at all. The gentleman that was behind me she had no trouble taking care of him because he was white and I was latin. I hate using the racists word, but she made us fell bad. And we love going their. All I can say is God bless you....

We love Scoops, great ice cream, great staff!They are very affordable and the ice cream portions are HUGE! Another plus is after you get your ice cream, you can take a walk, or sour in the park across the street and watch all the lake activity!
