Great place...only problem is they expect staff on duty to stock the store..have to wait for someone to cash you out..Not the staffs fault...good folks...i sense it too much to be a cashier...and stock the store

Thank you for lowering the price back to a dollar on your tuna fish. For some, it's a different of one meal a day or none. This is a reality and sometimes the food pantries can't keep up. I usually go into this store in the evening. Was just there tonight. The two women are efficient and friendly. A huge improvement from when the store first opened.

I don't remember which Dollar General this is, if it's the one in Campbell, I would rather not go here.If it's the one in Savona, they keep this store stocked very well and I enjoy shopping there...But I bought 2 fans in spring. 2 20" window gans, one was really bad out of the box had to return and when I went in to return, I got an oscillating floor fan. (They had no more floor fans, at the time.) Now I kept the oscillating fan, but it was also damaged. I just didn't want to return and could deal with the broken parts. I open all box's and think all damage was done in shipping!!! Not in Dollar General Store.

I go here often. I live locally. I usually dont enjoy the service from the employees they've had in the past but Im writing this review because I met Linda. Shes new and today was her 3rd day. She welcomed me into the store, gave amazing customer service, and was truely genuine. We talked briefly. She told me she was from the Hornell area and was really enjoying working here so far. I was sure to let her know how much her work and effort was appreciated by me and wanted her to get the recognition she deserves. Ive originally reviewed this place as 1 star, but her attitude, attention to detail, and genuiness changed my mind. I hope to see Linda here often and I also hope other employees in this establishment will learn a thing or two from her.

Went into the store for one thing about 4 or 5 other customers in there one employee outside smoking no other employee in the store to be found. I get to the register waited almost 15 minutes while the other customers were waiting behind me finally an employee comes out of the door behind the counter looking like he just woke up. Terrible customer service today!

Still standing outside the doors at 8:10 am when sign says open at 8:00 am. They are not answering their phones or unlocking the door to allow customers in. One customer already drove off! This is ridiculous service!
