Been shopping at Walgreens for the better part of 20 years and have never encountered a nastier manager than the one at the Walgreens at 5206 Genesee Street in Camillus, New York. I was calling to see where my Covid test results were as I was told they would be emailed to me yesterday and I needed written results for my employer. What I got was the complete runaround by the pharmacist last night who assured me I would be receiving an email within an hour after I already waited 5 hours - and its now the next day and I still haven’t received my results in writing. When I called today to ask why, the manager (whose name I can’t mention because I know my review will be rejected) raised her voice to me, talked over me, and insinuated I didn’t know understand procedures when my entire role was to stick a swab up my nose and hand it back to them. Their website, their pharmacist, and the person at the window who accepted my test all told me that I would receive written results within two hours. They manager claimed that even though they do the results in store, they don’t send the email. Abbott laboratory sends the email and they have no control over how long it takes to be sent. If this is the case, Walgreens shouldn’t advertise on their website that rapid results are available by email within two hours because apparently they aren’t. They shouldn’t promise something they have no control over. The pharmacist gave me the results over the phone last night after saying my name out loud when I’m sure there were employees and customers within earshot, which violates HIPAA and my privacy. He should lose his pharmacist license for doing that.I’ve never had this problem with CVS. I have had several Covid tests from CVS and have always received an email within two hours - so I suggest you get your Covid test st CVS and not patronize this particular property in Camillus until this manager is let go or retrained as she was argumentative and blamed me, the patient. She clearly needs to be retrained on how to interact effectively with customers, especially those feeling ill. If this manager is the face of this Walgreens property, I surely won’t be the only complaint they receive about her reprehensible behavior. Walgreens needs to do better. You can’t throw a rock in the Syracuse region without hitting a Rite Aid, a CVS, a Walmart or a Wegmans pharmacy- so use your feet and shop where you are appreciated and treated cordially because the Walgreens in Camillus is not where that’s going to happen. I’ve also made a complaint to their corporate office.

Went to go pick up a script, during normal pharmacy hours, and they were closed, due to circumstances beyond control. Maybe next time they could send a text alert saying they are closed, like one you get to pick up your script, before people drive over and leave angry. Felt sorry for the lone cashier. This used to be a great place to get scripts and vaccines, unfortunately it no longer is.

Find another pharmacy! Constant issues with them not filling prescriptions, no communication, double charging (when we had a card on file for quick pay), and the entire staff here is incredibly rude.Today they advised us they have a new policy - if they don't have enough medication they 'table' your script until you call in to get the RX status. Asked if any notifications were sent out advising customers and the response was "we have over 600 customers, so we can't let everyone know". Really? Not able to send a text alert like everything else? Then they can fill 6 tablets for a full months co--pay, then I can pick up the rest when their shipment comes in later this week...for another full months co--pay.No longer will I do any business at Walgreens, so this is the last script filled at this incompetent pharmacy.

The staff is rude constantly. They don't have meds and I have to wait 2 or 3 extra days for my prescription. I tried to get the free Covid tests through their website and it never worked. Also, their web site is out of date. Moving to a new pharmacy.

I went in to pick up stool softener - found a bottle of 400 capsules generic. The guy rang up $30 and I said there must be a mistake. But no, he said the bottle was $27.99. I thought maybe there was a shortage or something and bought them. But I looked it up later and you can get the exact same product anywhere else -- Walmart, Rite-Aid, Amazon - for $10. Will never go there again.

This location has rude managers and the employees seem to be untrained. The one down farther on genesee st is better and nicer people. Also the customer care line is a joke. I keep getting coupon codes to put in to save money off curbside and they don't work. The people on there end are useless and say they camt help well there goes a 30 dollar order since you can't help me.

Camillus pharmacy DOES NOT update their records for vaccinations you've received at that store. When asked why, tech said it was a good question and he'd ask the manager. (No he won't). I can't remember what shots(2) I got last year, I received the pneumonia shot, but I wasn't sure about others, specifically shingles. They have no record what I got. If I did, I may have been able to get the shingles booster. Since they don't know, I'm now on a 1 YEAR WAITING LIST for the 1st dose at the Camillus location. The tech said that because they have so many senior citizens in this area, they ran out...BUT another Walgreens may have the shingles vaccine. I also had an appointment for 9am for my shot(s). I waited 40+ minutes past my appointment time to get the flu and pneumonia shots. DON'T BOTHER TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT, THEY'RE NEVER READY.

Never have I encountered a more rude, short and curt associate as I did today at Walgreens. I went in very happy and good spirits and I just got to my car thinking , “what the heck was that?” The customer ahead of me was treated the same rude, disinterested and curt way. I’m done Walgreens . It is 1:25 on Monday June 11 . You can figure out who I’m talking about I’m sure. This associate is usually in the cosmetic dept .

I am so disappointed that I cant leave zero stars. I called for some help and got put on hold. No big deal, until the manager picked up the phone and swore at me. She said she was too busy to help me.I work retail and understand being busy, but no need to call me names.Just put me back on hold. In a very patient person.Oh, and by the way, thanks for hanging up on me mid sentence. Fantastic customer service!!!Needless to say, you dont need my money if youre too busy to deal with me.

Went in to get some medicine that was cheaper and closer at the time, and went to the register. Saw the price and asked if it were the same as online, because it was a dollar cheaper on the website, which is why I went there. Cashier was very very nice, but the manager was next to her said, that everything is cheaper online. I was like oh, I didn't see it said that. She said " it does if you read the fine print on the policy ", then walked away before I could even say anything. So very rude. Will never be shopping there again. Wegmans all the way!

The Camillus Walgreens is awful as far as the pharmacy goes. I am consistently told that I don't have any refills or prescriptions on file when I do. Just today I was given the wrong information twice. Went to refill one Rx and was told it was already picked up last week. They didnt bother to look and see that it was only a 6 day supply, so it would be due again this week. Then they insisted I had no refills on my other med. Had to go find my prescription, take a picture of it having one refill left, and come back to the store to prove them wrong. The technicians are simply incompetent here and I am taking my business elsewhere now that I actually have used up all my refills.

Worst pharmacy in chain they literally closed out my account without permission and left me high an dry for meds refill.Thanks for walmart being so amazing and helping take my Rx that day i found out.I'd recommend target or walmart over them now so sorry you lose 4 stars from that issue. Plus there new technicians are very rude and harassing this one named Nicole will literally give you hard time.

I called pharmacy to ask if their store has N95 masks. The man who answered, replied rudely, "WE DON'T HAVE THEM". I did not bother to ask my next question. I just said "THANK YOU", and hung up. I do believe I will stick with Wegman's Pharmacy.

The best thing about this Walgreens is that the pharmacy is open very late, 10pm! This makes it my optimal stop for prescriptions. That said, I've noticed some of the health supplies are more expensive here than other area pharmacies.
