Although I've only been there twice, it feels as if I've been going there forever, that's how welcome I feel when I'm doing my scouting of their enormous Craft beer selection.I know one of the owner's name is Joel, I will introduce myself to his partner next time in, they also have a very nice lady dog as well to greet you.

Carissa is so incredibly nice! Her and her husband are truly focused on delivering the best customer service you’ll see. You can find any sort of beer from all over the country here and chances are if there’s something she can order for you she will. She ordered me Ithaca’s Lakeside Lager a few times. Froth is now my go to beer. It’s from Buffalo and Branching Out Bottle Shop always has new flavors! Their dog is amazing! Every time you walk in the dog will come right up and say hi and greet you. One of a kind shop you won’t find anywhere else.

The real deal. I'm always suspiscious of places that are this well reviewed but it's absolutely deserved here. Syracuse is a city at a crossroads and this place does a great job at curating great beer from all over the state and beyond. I am from out of town and asked for "the best and most local textbook Citra/Mosiaic ++ bangers available" and within 2 minutes I had 24 uniques packed up and ready to go in the cooler. Prison City, UBL, Aurora, Other Half and others. A challenge I have with some bottle shops (especially on the way out of Vermont) is when I get the beer home I find a few are less-than-fresh. Not here, I have yet to find a can more than 3 weeks old from my haul, so not only do they have a wide variety but they clearly have volume to match. I cannot recommend them enough.

I had a great time and also a very hard time making a decision because there were so many choices. So needless to say the selection is plentiful and the environment was tranquil and nice. The owner came over and helped us find what we needed and every conversed with my wife about the plants in the corner. The dog was so good. Trained well. I was worried that when we walked in that the dog would try to get out. But he didn’t even try. He was the first to welcome us and it was adorable. Support a local business by going to this great establishment.

First off I want to say the selection is plentiful to say the least, Carissa and Joel are amazing individuals and very knowledgeable on craft beer! The location of this shop is perfect for my needs, which is another plus! I have gotten to try so many beers I didn't even know existed because of Branching Out, it is my favorite place to shop for beer! I've taken many trips here in the past 3 years, can't wait for the next one!

What a gem of a bottle shop this store is! Huge selection of both local and national craft beer, a knowledgeable and friendly staff, AND an adorable store pup that will happily play fetch with you if you want (or possibly even if you don't).We wandered over to Branching Out after a recommendation from the staff at Good Buddy's, and they nailed it. Got a ton of great local stuff to take back home, and had a really great conversation about the local craft beer scene from the folks working.If you're looking for great selection and folks that can make great suggestions to help improve your experience while shopping, this is the place to go!

Carissa and Joel are the best of the best and this truly the only next level spot in CNY for such a variety of craft beers from around the globe. Add to it, the cavalcade of brews they have on tap to fill your growler "to go" needs and it doesn't get any better than this for beer heaven. The end!

They offer single cans and bottles at a more than fair price, holding the best beer selection I have seen in Syracuse. Different beers and ciders come in weekly, including hard to find ones. Very Knowledgeable people who will help you explore different beers. My friends and I drive 30-45 minutes just because they take such good care of us.

An excellent collection of craft beers. Plenty of true microbrews (as opposed to micro's bought up by mega-brewers). The rotating selections for a growler fill is exceptional! The owners know what they're selling which makes this place so much better. This is my go to place for growlers and when I want to find something new. CHEERS!!!

This is easily the best place to find high quality craft beer in Central New York. Small family owned business that crushes it. They go on beer runs across the northeast and bring beer you can't get elsewhere to Camillus. The best part -- everything they have is available in singles. You can get 2 beers, 7 beers or 13 beers. Almost every time I go there I get 4-8 beers, each one different than the other. So much better than the mix six pack that some grocery stores offer because while Wegmans has a lot of beer varieties, most of it is not available in singles. I don't want to buy a 6 pack, be disappointed in it and have five beers lying around my fridge that I don't want to drink! Keep up the great work! :-)

Awesome store with a great selection of craft beer (like actual craft beer, not beers sold as craft but brewed by Budweiser or Miller). I love being able to buy beer by the bottle if I don't want a six pack. Owners are always friendly and super knowledgeable

Really neat spot, locally owned with an amazing beer selection. Seeing the name "bottle shop" I was pleasantly surprised when I went in and they had beers I had no idea even existed. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Stop in when you're in Township 5!
