I’m not really sure what is going on with this supermarket. Let’s start with the deli and the roast beef in the deli. The roast beef Has To be one of the worst I have ever eaten. I ordered some last week and it literally looked like canned meat that they ran through the slicer and it was absolutely disgusting. I’m sure there are better brands that they can buy that are actual meat. As far as the meat department. The ground beef that I bought was extremely dry after cooking it however, it was so red it looked raw, but it was Fully cooked. The amount of red dye and preservatives and additives that is getting added to that meat is absolutely disgusting. I had to throw the food away. There is no reason after cooking meat that it should look bright red, almost neon on the inside. And if that doesn’t happen in house, then someone in that supermarket should know what is going on and buy things from a different vendor

Extremely expensive store, with mostly helpful staff, except for the manager, Sophia. Tried to make small talk but she was short, rude, disrespectful, and seemed outright racist towards me and my wife. Would like to shop more if I hadn’t felt so discriminated every time she checks me out.

The staff is always helpful. The store is older, but well maintained and clean. Unfortunately, since they were bought out, their prices are extremely and unreasonably expensive (especially for the fresh produce). I rarely shop here anymore.

When it's the only major store within 25 or so you either spend the money on gas wear& tear on your vehicle or pay the price at the local store. When we have appointments we shop getting as much as we can I love our local stores but need to be realistic

It's the only grocery store in Camden. The prices are high for the quality of food. Very limited choices, If there was another choice of grocery stores, I would not be shopping there.

It's not a whole foods market but since there aren't any of those anywhere near my location, Tops is the next best thing. Their meats last more than 2-3 days in your refrigerator, unlike Walmart's and they have a much better selection of fresh produce, cheese, deli meats, and baked goods than Wally worlds. Definitely our new shopping spot out this way.

Very helpful staff. Nice donut selection in the bakery. When the checkout woman asked if I found everything ok I said I couldn't find magic shell for ice cream. She went and got it for me!!Great stuff!

If you want to shop with a cart, be sure to grab one from the parking lot on your way in, by far the worse at having carts inside for customers. And the self check outs they make you use, no registers open, only the self check open out at times, bring your bag and pack your own groceries, but the prices do not go down. Not a good experience, but they know they know they do not have to change because no competition around for miles, Maybe if Price Chopper takes over things will change for the better.

Tops punches all the tickets except prices. Many items are 60% or more above WAL- MART. Our local one will be closing. Hopefully the store that replaced it will be less costly.

I have shopped exclusively at tops Friendly Market here in Camden since we moved here. I find that since the market installed the self check out you are not friendly. A customer cant get a smile or a "nice to see you" or any friendly face at all. The people I have encountered have been grumpy at best. If I say I'd prefer a regular checker they blame corporate. yes they offer to help and if I am alone in the lines they will check me out, but it still takes longer, takes jobs away, and for me it is disturbing. If I spend 15 minutes checking my self out I should receive a discount equal to 15 minutes of checker/bagger wages. The next time I come to this Tops and find no open checkout stands I will not shop I will take my business to Walmart. The money I spend in gas I will probably save at checkout anyway. I hope you can overcome "corporate" and keep the personal touch a lot of people enjoy. If enough people feel the same as I do "corporate" will see the customer loss and close the store.

Meh. Prices are all over the place, but I suppose that's normal when it's the only supermarket for miles. I'd grade the meats a B, the deli has a small selection of good choices, and the produce is average quality. Some of the staff are polite and helpful while some of them are sleepwalking through their shift.They've come a long way from the "Tops never mops, look at the floors" days, but certainly not hitting it out of the park. If you're used to Wegmans, Hy-Vee, or something of that caliber: either put a cooler in the car for perishables and drive further out of the way, or lower your expectations.

Had good experiences here. The people who work here do a good job. I just don't like the bagging. If you bring a bag you bag all of it. If you buy a bag it stuffed in there every which way.

Not good! Went to the deli to get a sub. A girl, Jennifer, I believe, VERY bad attitude. Putting together the $6 meals, tops wouldn't go on so, she was swearing under her breath, throwing food containers on the floor and finally threw the whole $6 meals into the trash, just because she couldn't get the tops on. Wow. On the other side, Josie was very pleasant and the sub was great.

Most employees are amazing and keep the small town vibe, prices are often high, and lines long most of the time. Would benefit from taking out the stone age self checkouts.

When I got here there was an employee smoking and having a very loud conversation. I had been driving a long time and needed to use the restroom. The same employee walked into the restroom in front of me still on here phone and having an active conversation. I decided to wait until she was done because I didnt know who she was talking too and that is just weird. She was in there forever. I think someone in the store thought I was acting suspicious because they paged to have employees scan several areas. I ended up going in the restroom 10 minutes and she was still in there and on the phone. Me walking in there made her finish up. She flushed the toilet and walked out without washing her hands. The restroom smelled soo awful. One of the stalls was backed up and I could taste the smell of cigarettes from her. I am almost convinced she was smoking while she was in there. When I left the store she was in the deli. So glad I didnt make any purchases

For a small town grocery store its huge. Allways nice staff. Deals weekly and a saving grace for that shopper who needs something forgotten or needing it in a hurry for that family feast. Or grab a premade hot/cold meal in the deli.

Nice variety but OMG the prices lead you to believe TOPS thinks you're stupid. Many regular items are easily double the price than walmart. I hate to shop there but TOPS makes it hard not to.

Convenient, but holy cow on the prices. They wanted $6 for a bag of chips. I usually steal a bunch of stuff to makeup for their overcharging.

Horrible selection for anything fresh. Only carry what locals want. Asked several times for them to order special foods. Very pricey. Sad when the gas station sells milk$2 cheaper then the store brand. Refuse to shop here. Nothing good about anything in this store.
