I am extremely dissatisfied at the service I received today. I asked for a specific cut for my Morkie dog and the woman that cut her, cut off all her face and ear hair. I specifically ask that her ear hair be kept long and face trimmed. The woman that cut her, cut her ears bald. She gave me no reasonable explanation why she did the opposite of what I asked. Nor did she offer an apology or a discount.I’ve gone to several groomers over the years and never experienced such disrespect. I reluctantly paid the bill and I also tipped against my better judgment because I respect black owned businesses. I too am a black business owner and understand what it takes to run a business. But I will not return to this shop again and would not in good conscience give a positive recommendation to anyone to use this services based on my first time experience. I hope this never happens to anyone else who patronizes this business.I post below some before and after pics. Clearly, the after pictures are the ones where my dog has no hair On her ears or face. This makes no sense whatsoever!! I was charged $146.

I absolutely love this place. Trini was amazing with my domestic long hair cat. She was very patient with him even though he was a hand full. She was very informative on how to avoid the matting for my cat. I recommend Trini for her love and patience with dealing with cats. Will be coming here again for a full grooming!

PERFECTION!!! My OVER ALL visit today with my Furr Baby was absolutely amazing. Trini’s Awesome work Not only made Whiskey looked great, but he also smells and feels wonderful. Her warmth, kind, loving and caring soul made both of our visit extremely comfortable. We’re Definitely coming back!

This post is late, but better late than never. I booked an appointment online for my dog to be groomed at this facility. Leading up to the appointment, I tried calling and I actually left a couple of messages and got no response. Being that this business is in my neighborhood and black-owned, I made the effort to book with them. For the record, my dog was groomed here once before and the groomer did an ok job. He didn’t need much to be done, so I opted to go with them. I would have visited more, but it’s difficult to get anyone to answer the phone. Anyway, when I saw I could book through an app online I jumped at the opportunity. I usually like early morning appointments, but unfortunately, the earliest appointment available was for 1:20 pm so I booked it and then made plans to run my errands in the morning. Around 8 am the day of my appointment , I received a call from a lady who said she was calling from the shop. I figured she was calling to confirm the appointment so I mentioned that I said, “oh yes, my dog has an appointment at 1:20 pm today. I’ll be there.” To which she responded she was calling to tell me that I would have to bring him in at 10 am because she didn’t have a babysitter. Now, it wasn’t so much about her gross neglect of MY PLANS or sounding as though she was doing me a favor, it was her tone. She sounded as though she was scolding me…as though she didn’t want to work but was being forced to. She was so rude and unprofessional. I asked her what was with her tone? That made her even more angry, and when she began to shout, I hung up on her and made up my mind that I wouldn’t be taking my dog to her. To add insult to injury, she had to send me a text stating she would net be grooming my dog. Now, I know we get excited about black-owned businesses and new businesses opening up in our areas, but when they’re rude and unprofessional, I do t see why we should have to continue to support their businesses. I’m posting this review to warn others about this place.

After being away in the military my baby LoLa was in bad shape. Last minute and desperate I found this shop and made an appointment she was well taken care of . Without a regret I would definitely be booking again. Thank you for being kind to LoLa. Amazing service!!!!

Very unprofessional. I was really excited to try this groomer as I recently bought a home in this neighborhood. I booked online for an appointment this morning at 10:00 am. I called at 10:03 am letting her know I was 2 minutes away. She said it’s Christmas Eve and typically allows a 10 minute grace period, yet she refused to take me because I am a new customer despite booking the correct appointment. If she did not want to work today the business should have closed for the day. Very unfair as I needed my dog groomed

I found this place after Milo was injured and received a horrible grooming from PetSmart. Trini is amazing and I continue to use the pointers she provided for my pampered fur baby. The prices are reasonable, the staff is always very welcoming and professional. Can't wait to schedule Milo's next appointment, he leaves there smelling amazing for days.

This was my Maltese’s second visit and both times, he and I were happy customers! I got an appointment in just two days after calling and it was during Thanksgiving week! My dog was groomed by Dominique, who is a very talented groomer. She pays special attention to your pets’ unique personality and grooming needs. She is friendly and kind to both pets and people. My dog is generally very nervous outside of our home but with Dominique, he is relaxed and happy. My dog also has sensitive skin and Dominique took special care with bathing him and even gave me advice on a new bathing routine to address his dry, itchy skin. I highly recommend taking your pet to Lavish Life Pet Spa and ask for Dominique!P.S. She grooms cats too!

Trini literally is an excellent groomer, you can tell she absolutely loves and cares for every single puppy that she grooms. After my first visit, I told my sister to come too and now we bring both of our mini golden doodle puppies to Trini.Her space is clean, and cute, she is unbelievably kind and friendly and this is a black, woman owned groomer, what more could you possibly ask for.So, just come through and bring your fur baby because they’re definitely going to be in excellent hands. FYI, make sure you do your part as the puppy parent and brush them daily or every other day. She definitely emphasizes how important it is for you to also brush and maintain your fur babies beautiful coat.

My experience was wonderful, they were very pleasant and very accommodating. My dogs desperately needed to be groomed ((desperately). They were groomed and looked phenomenal. The Groomer Dominique is phenomenal seriously, PHENOMENAL. They are all beautiful people and very pleasant and professional. . My pets weren't stressed. Just really a great experience dealing with everyone there. I recommend them, because they are really GOOD!!!!! So if you are looking for that special place to take your furbabies then this is the place. And trust me your dog will definitely come out looking GREAT.

Bentley's groomer, Alicia, is amazing!! Bentley and I followed her from her Brooklyn location to Lavish Life. Alicia has been grooming my baby for many years. I trust that she'll be kind and gentle with him each and every visit. Bentley literally comes out smelling delicious. His coat looks and feels luxurious. Alicia, you know, you're the only one for Bentley (you took care of him after he'd been mistreated by another groomer). Forever grateful!!

This place deserves minus zero stars. I was a patient customer for two years. During the initial visits there was a dynamic grooming team who did an excellent job with grooming and returned my dog within a timely manner. Please note that this business is owned by Mr. Lavish who operates the business remotely. Trini is the current groomer who has a criticism each time I bring my dog. I am meticulous with caring for my dog as he is bathed weekly! On one occasion I made a 10 am appointment for which Trini was a no show. I texted Mr. Lavish who apologized. On several occasions I would bring my dog at 10 am and would wait in excess of 4 hours for my pet to be ready. Mind you my dog is well maintained without any knots. The final straw occurred when again I dropped my dog off at 10 am sharp. He was the first to arrive. I asked that he be ready in a timely manner. After 5 hours I texted to inform the groomers that I was on my way as I was now late for work. The groomer cracked the door and stated that they were just beginning and cut his fur. What were they doing for 5 hours??? I am wondering if they were trying to mate my baby. Suspicious Suspicious. I was told that he would be finished in another 15 minutes. I therefore paid the $175.00 in order to accelerate the check out process as I was extremely late for work. Trini appeared with my dog whose cut was unfinished and nails uncut. She stated “too bad; you will have to bring him back another day”. She added don’t tell Mr. Lavish. Upon exiting I immediately contacted Mr. Lavish and attempted to resolve the concern. He agreed that an unfinished dog after 5 hours was not acceptable. I shared that I was doing my best to support businesses in my old neighborhood. I sent a text requesting another appointment to which there was never a response. This Black business is disorganized and unprofessional. I will stick with my groomers in the suburbs who are on time and completely groom my dog within two hours. No wonder the previous groomers left and started their own business. Don’t refute this I have the texts to support my claim. DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE!!!!!

Booked appointment. Didn’t receive any policies or notifications. Wasted my time went there and was told she doesn’t groom any dogs older than 10. She asked no questions about my dogs previous experience or health. Also somehow mentioned my dog being blind in 1 eye was a problem. Some sort of communication other than my appointment confirmation would’ve been nice. I wouldn’t have wasted my time and take my dog.

We took our pup to Lavish Life Pet Shop and was pleasantly surprised. Conrad was helpful in scheduling our trip and helpful in choosing the appropriate services for us. Our assigned groomer Dominique was friendly and expressed joy with working with our Clover. Our pup was cut with great precision, cuddly soft and smelling “all good”. We’re happy we tried you guys and glad I supported a local business in my community. I’ll definitely be returning back.

My two dogs were groomed after quarantine and their hair was long and matted. I’m so happy I took them to Lavish Life because of the service that I received. The staff was so nice, friendly, and helpful. My dogs came back smelling amazing and fresh and knot free!! We definitely will be regulars here !!!

From the moment I walked in, the customer service was amazing. My dog was knotted and she worked a miracle and had her smelling so good. When I picked her up she didn’t want to leave! She offered so many tips on how to train my dog. Me and my dog experience was great!

Used take my dog to Petsmart but was suggest Lavish by a family member. I'd rather support a local business when given the chance.Was pleasantly surprised by all they offered with a bath and haircut package. My little pup looked good, smelled good and seems happy.Will definitely make this my first grooming stop from now on.

The establishment is 100% Quality. Inside is spotless and it’s has great energy. I didn’t feel worried about leaving my dog, since stepping near the mini gate in front of the door were happy dogs. They also text so updates are always quick. When I returned for my dog I was smiling from ear to ear because he look super clean. Definitely worth trying out. Plus it’s right next to Brooklyn Wing House. You can pick up an order while you wait.

I was excited to try this place out. Finally a pet grooming spot in the neighborhood witthin walking distance. Black owned. Awesome!I should have know when they never responded to my email weeks ago and when they said they could squeeze me in w days later and i was not in a rush. I just wanted the next available date. My experience would take up too much time. I have a 12.5lb bischon frisé. Needless to say i will not be returning. My dog will contine to go to his regular groomer. I sure do hope i do not find his picture on the gram.Update: The owner of LLPS contacted me about the service i received. He was apologetic and invited me to come back to LLPS and see the true service and client engagement they are offering.
