Fantastic nursery, one of the very best on Long Island. They have plants you just can't find anywhere else. Beautiful property, bring your lunch, or go to the Wine Country Deli and get some fantastic food, sit at the picnic tables, right by the Peconic river. Enjoy the beautiful views, then walk around look at all the plants, you wont see anywhere else. Fantastic selection of plants! It is most definitely worth the trip no matter where you live on LI.

Great place! Flower, shrub and herb farm right on the Peconic River. Lots of property to walk, they have places to sit and rest to enjoy the views. They also sell lots of eclectic and "antiquey" items. The associates are helpful and friends.

This truly is a magical place wirth so many flowers, shrubs, trees and outdoor items to choose from. The property is laid out perfectly and you can enjoy a nice picnic with beautiful scenery. While there they were bbqing free hot dogs. I highly recommend this local treasure.

Quiet and lovely harb farm next to peconic river. Not crowded at all, plenty of plants and flowers, and feeling of nature, if you are looking for a relaxing weekend afternoon, this is a perfect fit for you.The farm is not large, it takes less than half an hour to walk around.The price is another highlight. Entry is free. You can buy herbs and they are not expensive.It take approximately 10 mins away from Riverhead main street~

Just a secret slice of heaven on the East End of Long Island. We live out of state now, but travel back to LI often to visit family . No matter if its Spring, Summer, Winter, Fall, we stop by the farm. Fun location to just walk around, shop, and forget about your worries. An eclectic place, that has something for everyone. The entire staff is fun and engaging. Cris the owner, always makes us laugh and is eager to share her knowledge and creative ideas. Do yourself a favor and stop by the farm and then have dinner in Riverhead or head out to the North Fork, for some more fun. You will Thank me later.

This is a wonderful place. It a peaceful spot to enjoy the day, especially on weekdays. I really appreciate the hammocks.Their plant selection is also fantastic. I often find unique plants that I don’t see elsewhere.

This place is magical. I felt like the entire property was enchanted and I didn’t want to leave. They have beautiful plants and flowers and the property is beautiful. You feel like you’re in another time. I cannot wait to return to this lovely place and just hang out by the water and do some watercoloring of the landscape. Highly recommend this place if you seek nature and quiet, provided no events are going on there. I look forward to attending one of there many events in the summer.

Picturesque nursery, feels more like an arboretum that a plant farm. Good selection of outdoor plants, nice Italian potteries available.They should open a coffee shop and this place would be perfect.

Truly a great nursery and wedding venue. Beautiful plants, antiques, garden decor and a green house loaded with treasures. Acers of old trees, open spaces and it overlooks a pond filled with Lilly pads. Make the trip and just hang out, very unique place.

I have never come across a plant store I love so much. Peconic River Herb Farm is truly in a class by itself.The quality of the plants is incredible: perennials, annuals, shrubs, trees, herbs, garden art, etc. It's all presented in such a quaint, cute way. The place is really very sweet and very charmingly landscaped.They take such great care of their plants and I especially love the way they present plants in different sizes and different prices. Even when you buy plants in a smaller size, they're so well taken care of that they quickly thrive with proper planting and care.The staff is incredibly sweet, helpful, and knowledgeable. I drive about 45-minutes each way every month or two to visit this great place and it's always well worth it. What a gem of a place!

Love this place. Could spend the day there. People who work there are very knowledgeable. They have every plant ,tree, bushes,herbs you can think of.I buy my chocolate mint there every year. You can bring a nice lunch and eat by the water.

if you need super helpful service, this is the place to go. even with the COVID craziness, the lovely ladies of the herb farm go above and beyond to help the novice gardener learn the ropes and the seasoned gardener find their favorites. the place is beautiful, it's a magical fairyland and one of the few places, where if you go on a week day morning you can walk and feel like everything is okay in the world. and right now there's something to be said for that.

what a lovely place! Great plants, fabulous little shop and lots of nooks and crannies to stroll and explore at leisure. no one pressuring you as you walk the grounds. plenty of chairs or tables to sit and relax at too, and enjoy the views.

Spent the day there celebrating my birthday with friends and the entire staff was very accomodating as I am in a wheelchair. Christine espescially made sure I was comfortable and safe and in a shady spot. It is the most beautiful place to spend time enjoying nature and all the Herb Farm has to offer. I would highly recommend visiting this hidden gem on Long Island. Thanks again Christine and staff! See you soon!

Peaceful herb farm on the Peconic River. Well cared for plants, flowers, shrubs, vegetables and herbs for sale. It is nice to walk around the farm and by the river. Plenty of spots to sit and relax as well. Knowledgeable, friendly staff . Pets welcome .

A great place for all your outside plant needs. Helps that it's just down the road from me, just a handful of miles. If you live in the big city west of here. The big tall trees replace your dirt old tall building's. Come see what air should smell like.
