My wife and I own a horse farm in Ridge. For several years now I've been making the run to Neptune every weekend to the point that the staff knows me by name. They carry grain brands like Triumph pellets that are hard to find elsewhere on Long Island.

I’ve been coming here since I was a little girl! From my first pair of breeches and boots to now, 16 years later, Neptune is always my first choice! The customer service is top notch and I always feel like a priority. Lyndsey has great knowledge and I always leave with exactly what I need. They carry quality items. I’m still riding in a pair of boots I got 10 years ago! If you’re looking to be treated like family, go to Neptune!

Exceptional service! They offer suggestions and recommendations on anything from fly spray to girths. Down to earth humble horse people who truly care. Wish all feed stores were able to offer such specific help on practically anything. Returns and exchanges are seem less and simple. They also provide enough inventory to assist both western and English riders. Professional and very attentive! Way to go, ladies!!!

Have always had a wonderful experience with Neptune having my horses hay, feed and shavings delivered weekly. They are always on time, respond quickly, and their delivery men are very affectionate and safe with my horses when putting the products away at the barn. They’re the best!

Support the small businesses on Long Island!! Been using Neptune for over a year for my hay/hay cubes and other needs for my horses!!! Owner is an absolute sweetheart who busts her butt like any small business owner to keep things going. I never have to worry about not being home when the hay is delivered, the staff is just amazing! The hay quality is also top notch my horses absolutely LOVE their hay and they are picky eaters !

Only place i go for my hay and grain,always have a great selection for different levels of horses,and were able to advise me for my mare who has laminates and has been doing great for the last 2 years. Lindsey,Meagan and Jennifer are always helpful and the guys in the warehouse are quick to load you up.,i remember Lindsey's dad Will asked me why i just dont get my stuff delivered and its because i would miss going in to see the girl's.Thanks for the laughs over the last 13 years guys

I have been getting Primal Freeze Dried Nuggets for my dog from Neptune for over a year. Everyone was so helpful guiding me to the right product for my pup. Couldn’t be nicer! Worth the trip from Nassau County! Highly reccomend!

costumer service is awful. i went there to get an idea of what they wanted for breeches and boots because i was expecting a check with in the week and i found the place accidentally and i had been curious. i walked inside and the employees not only ignored me but wouldn't even help me get an idea of what size i needed for show boots, which was the main reason i even went there. then i needed a helmet cover for a show and they ordered it for me and swore up and down that it would be in on time but on the day of the show i had to drive all the way out to riders choice to get their last cover because they couldn't keep their shelves stocked nor could they return or answer customer calls. we had to go down there to find out that the shipment had been delayed for an extra week. ridiculous! never going again!

I want to start off by saying how much i love neptune feed and saddlery. Lyndsey and her staff are absolutely amazing and wonderful to deal with. They all have such great attitudes when you talk to them you can tell they love what they do. Not only is the staff amazing but their customer service is amazing as well. It is deff one of the best i have delt with. I ordered a 6ft gate from them and i was told it would arrive with my hay delivery but the gate never arrived, lyndsey handled the problem and was beyond apologetic even though it had nothing to do with her and actually had to do with the gate company not shipping it on time. Lyndsey went above and beyond for me to make sure i got the gate right away. I really appreciated everything she did!!! I also purchase 2nd cut hay from neptune, i have never had a problem with my horses not eating it and wasting it. My horses devour every last drop of hay. I would recommend any one that is looking for hay, feed, or any products to contact neptune feed and saddlery!!! They are abaolutely the best. Thank you to lyndsey and all of her staff
