What a beautiful place!!!We were greeted warmly and promptly. The bar had a very friendly feel, like everyone knew each other. The build is beautifully renovated. Each room having it's own look and feeling. The main dining room has a fireplace focal point that is beautiful. Every window has its own scene that's nicely designed. The white diningroom is feminine and airy with a wall of windows. The pool room however, is like stepping back in time. So incredibly cool. I enjoyed my brief stay.

There were 5 of us for dinner on a Saturday night. The atmosphere of the place was very neat. The wait for our food was very slow. Don't know if, they were extra busy because the restaurant across the street was closed, due to an event, but it seemed the staff was overwhelmed (only two servers for the whole restaurant). This was a Saturday night around 5:45 pm. Two of our party members started with the French Onion soup which must've been sitting before it came out, because it was lukewarm at best. They would've sent it back, but the waitress was nowhere to be found. The burgers were very good. Tasty, fresh, and hot. The Buttermilk chicken sandwich was also good, but needed some seasonings and additional condiments, which we asked for, but never got. It was a cozy place, and we might give it another shot, as it could've been that they were short staffed. But there are a few other placed in the area we would probably try first.

Historically it’s beautiful. I would advise just taking a picture and moving on. The price was high so I didn’t expect to be kept awake by an intoxicated woman who shrieked every time she made a shot playing pool downstairs. Dinner was pricey and they added a credit card charge after give us the bill. Section 518 of the General Business Law, which, in no uncertain terms, makes it illegal for merchants to charge extra if a customer wants to use a credit card. The biggest let down was the beautiful, large claw foot tub. I was looking forward to soaking in it. When I attempted to fill it there was NO hot water. The whole experience was a disappointment.

This was a nice birthday weekend place to go. The room was clean and very nicely decorated. Just be prepared for stairs. Our room was on third floor and we had a four month old puppy. Let’s say friend got her leg workout. Bed was very comfortable and allowed for a comfortable nights rest except for the 1:30am train wake up call . Dinner was amazing, and Friday night band was fun. No band on Saturday although it was posted that there would be. Great place to have a cocktail. Location is perfect. Ended weekend with coffee and a muffin on porch in the rocking chairs.Food & drinks: Plenty of places to eat and drink in walking distances.

Can't rate the rooms, because I didn't stay there. I did, however, have dinner there.The food was good, the drinks were incredible, and the live music was truly amazing. It was an absolute treat.Food & drinks: Food was good. The drinks, however, are really incredible.If you go on a night when they have live music, it's fantastic. Stay a while, enjoy the fireplace, the great music and a few drinks. Have a few apps while you're there, too.

Fantastic, historic inn in the middle of the most charming village of Callicoon. Feels like being out west. And like going back in time. Overlooks the center, the railroad, depot, shops and restaurants. Park and walk everywhere. Great staff cares about hotel guests, cozy tap room and dining service. Excellent, diverse menu. Outdoor dining plentiful, and live music a plus on weekends! THIS is the place to be when in Callicoon! We will be back. Thank you!

Waited over an hour and a half for an extremely overpriced and extremely underwhelming breakfast. Only reason I gave an extra star is because I’ve always loved the building and antique decor. Was really looking forward to having breakfast here for once but $25 for a mediocre overcooked omelet (they charge 1.50 for each topping) and $18 for bland French toast that was missing the apple compote as described and not on challah bread, I’ll stay in next time. And the eggs Benedict come with no side so add another $8 salad and there you have a $26 bland eggs Benedict not salmon not lobster just plain old Benedict for $26 😂

Was lucky to be here two times last weekend. On Friday a great cocktail nightcap with Veronique at the bar. Really fresh and good house specials. So good we made reservations for brunch on Sunday. Really YUMMYand a good rounded selection to choose from. Since moving to the area I have been looking for a good Sunday brunch with a Bloody Mary and Eggs Benedict....look no further. Really nice staff and the big warm fireplace were a hit with my guests.

I had to make an unplanned visit to the Western Hotel last night. From the moment I walked in I received amazing care from Renee who booked me a room right away, it was a very easy process and it was handled with kindness, which I really needed in that moment. (She even went and got me a glass of wine from the bar while I was still checking in, WOW what service!) It was still going to be a little while until my room was ready which was no problem, there’s a very comfortable bar and porch and tables out back. It’s a lovely setting and really cute place. I had some wine and ordered dinner to go from Kim, who also provided excellent, and I mean EXCELLENT, far beyond your basic pleasant service. The room itself was very cute, clean, perfectly comfortable. I will definitely be back!!! Thank you!!

As a Callicoon resident I couldn’t be happier that The Western Supper Club and Inn is right here at my doorstep! Especially as they are one of the rare places open on a Monday !The food and beverages are very good, I’ve had most things on the menu and am partial to the fried buttermilk chicken sandwich! although everything they make is fresh, tasty and lovely to look at. They have an amazing bar program but their prices are still affordable. Also the staff are really sweet and friendly. They usually have live music at the weekend on a small stage outside but plenty of room for seating & eating. It’s just a super quaint and all around great restaurant experience. Oh and there is a really cool billiards room my friends and I like to play in!I also had need to stay at the Inn while some work was done on my home last minute and was accommodated which was a huge relief! I found the rooms to be really airy, clean and peaceful, there’s an awesome mix of romantic historic feel and modern at the western. It’s also very convenient to walk around town, literally across the street from shops, grocery, cafe, restaurants and has a view of the Catskill mountains from every window.Highly recommend to all types, upstate foodies, travelers and locals!

I went this summer for the first time. It was really fun especially with some friends. Drinks and Food were great. They also play live music which gives you one more reason to go. Staff was friendly and the building itself has cool history! It's right in the center of Calicoon so you can stop before or after other locations within the town.

We had the cheese cake only with coffee & chamomile tea. Great dessert with raspberry puree. On the last day, Sunday, we ate lunch there. Thai steak salad for me & burger with coffee flavor. Both were good. The Thai steak at L'Avenue is much better but their version is good for the region.

The food was absolutely amazing. The staff and owner are very friendly & professional. The building is unique, with beautiful dark wood and cute antique furniture. Low lighting is great for someone like me who gets headaches easily, but it isn't so dark that you can't appreciate the beauty of the place! It is definitely a cool experience, you feel like you're in a place set back in time. This is my favorite place in Callicoon!

My wife and I had the most wonderful experience here! The food was great! The atmosphere was quaint and cozy especially with the (real) open hearth fireplace. The service was top notch. Smiles all around! We stayed in a beautiful room that was very comfortable and charming. So much so, we extended our stay for two more days. Thank you Irene, Kim, Pat and Patty! Come, eat, stay and you won't be disappointed!

Just stopped here for a n early dinner on our way to our home in Walton. Beautiful old building dating back to 1852. The bar is beautiful, warm and inviting and the dining rooms calls to you especially with the beautiful stone fireplace. It’s historic and elegant. The flog is was fabulous. Highly recommend the Mac n cheese. We eat out A LOT!!!! And thus place absolutely impressed. We will be back!!!

The hotel is a charming old building and the rooms are nicely furnished. However, there was no place to hang clothes in our room (forget about a closet), The bathtub/shower set up was almost dangerous and the towels cheap and thin. The stairs to the 3rd floor rooms were a challenge. Although we enjoyed sitting on the porch and taking in the local color, the room was greatly lacking in amenities and overpriced.

I’ve stayed here several times, Clean rooms, some are pet friendly which is a plus. Hotel has a restaurant & bar on premises also located in the center of town & next door to Callicoon brewery & Catskill distillery. The town is small so everything is walkable.Also ideal location in Catskills for Rafting/Kayaking & Antique shopping!

Irene the owner is fantastic. She has updated the rooms but has kept the Callicoon charm with attention to every detail. We have stayed at the hotel three times and each room is unique and inviting. The staff is warm and welcoming and have that local knowledge if you want to explore. The restaurant is also delicious with a good beer selection. Burgers and schnitzel are a must. Cheers
