You might think this is your average local pizza shop, but it’s so much more. The guy running the register and taking orders was fast, friendly, and very helpful when asked for recommendations. We were thrilled that there were so many fresh and delicious vegan options. We especially liked the BBQ vegan wings, Thai peanut salad, and the lo mein noodle bowl (it is heavy on the sauce, so if that’s not your thing you might want to go with a different option).We went on New Year’s Day when it was particularly busy. In spite of that, the food was presented promptly and beautifully plated.Vegetarian options: Fresh and delicious vegan options

You can call ahead or order online, sit indoors or out and expect amazing food! Great food and super easy to order take out online. Lots of good stuff to choose from on the menu. The place is popular, so there was a line about five people deep - but the staff is so efficient, I barely had any wait. Look forward to trying something else on the menu.

Great little place we saw while driving upstate so we stopped in for lunch today. Staff was friendly and helped us out with every request. I can see them outgrowing this location and moving downtown 👍

About the fourth time I've been here now and finally got the chance to have the ramen. So amazing and delectable. Had the star wars pizza with some knots and an arugula salad.... All of which were outstanding. Thank you for yet another amazing meal!

Great food, garbage experience. Arrived and asked if our (online) order was ready; cashier barely listened to the name on the order and asked if it was online, and said it will be a bit without giving any indication of time. Apparently the online ordering system vastly underestimates the time it takes to make the order and doesn't account for how busy the place is. Understandable, and it was quite busy. After waiting for an additional 40 minutes from the estimated time given to us when placing the online order, we watched them take two minutes to make the salad in our order and then pull our two (boxed) pizzas out from underneath other pizzas...meaning the pizzas had been ready for a while and were just sitting there. The pizzas were lukewarm to the touch before leaving the store. Cashier refused to acknowledge that our pizzas had been ready long before they were given to us and that they probably forgot about the salad. Another employee (in white tshirt; owner?) told us we were free to leave them there if we didn't like it (we had already paid online). I asked about getting them reheated in the oven, and was told "maybe when there's space". Cashier should have given us a realistic wait time when we asked at the counter and staff should have made sure the salad was prepped as soon as the pizza was ready since we were waiting on site. Their rudeness didn't solve anything. Business was booming, so they probably won't care. Pizza was quite good though.

Ordered a large half cheese and half pepperoni and an order of mozzarella sticks. The pizza was definitely new York style. Nice big foldable slices. The mozzarella sticks were interesting. Not what I'm used to. The place smelled amazing. Would definitely order there again.

Always so delicious. Me and my boyfriend usually go here once a week, we always love the food and the service is great. Great for dine in or take out. We usually get take out and the food is usually ready within 15-20 minutes and is always hot when we arrive to pick up. When you dine in depending on what you order the food is ready within about 10-15 minutes. Genuinely everything we have tried so far has been yummy, we’ve gotten the tacos, ramen, pot stickers, mozzarella sticks, nachos, and pizza and it has all been fantastic.

Is this a hooters or local pizza? Girl that took my order was wearing boyshort underwear. Ladies do not let your man visit this place and girlcot it with me. I will never give this place another cent. Pizza was mediocre at best but maybe it would have been better if I wasn't so disgusted by the skanky help and kitchen full of Spanish guys. Maybe the tacos are what people go here for... but I won't be back.

I just moved out here from CT (I have family in Calicoon). I've driven past this place a bunch of times and decided to eat here the other day, because I was craving some wings. They were surprisingly good and so was the pizza. We had barbecue wings and Buffalo style and both were very good. The wings were meaty (not skimpy) and not over priced (which is common now, due to the price of raw chicken wings being more expensive for restaurants these days. The pizza was also surprisingly good (tasty sauce).The staff also seemed pretty cool. I will definitely be eating here again.

We have been eating at Local since they opened. And the food is good. However, in the near countless times we have eaten there, I have never once had my food received as ordered. Ramen ordered with no mushrooms, definitely mushrooms more than the broth. We ordered a pizza half with a topping, half cheese, and no topping. On multiple occasions the sauces for the apps have been missing. But tonight did me in. I ordered the Local Ramen with brisket, because I wanted Ramen. And when I put my fork in the bowl was highly disappointed to find pasta. Now. Maybe to some this isn't a big deal, but they are a different taste and texture.... also. No soy ginger sauce with my pot stickers. We will continue to enjoy the food here but will be checking our meal before we leave to take it home. Just thought it was something the owners should be aware of.

My son, daughter and I wanted pizza. A worker from Villa Roma told us about Local Pizza. We didn't know what to expect. So we ordered a pie and ate every slice. I would recommend Local Pizza to any one who loves pizza and is in Calicoon NY.Parking: Large parking lotWheelchair accessibility: No steps. Walk right in.

I love the local! My husband and I just moved to this side of the county less than a month ago and we've ordered food from the local at least 15 times if not more. We have never been disappointed. They've given us the wrong order a few times but it doesn't matter since we've enjoyed those too
