We give this 2 stars ONLY due toThe service which was outstanding. Would have given 1 star if not for her. Wait staff was friendly, professional and helpful. The food…well, let’s say we’ve had better meals at McDonald’s and that saying a lot because we do t really eat there unless we have to. The onion rings were advertised as “beer battered”, they came out breaded…I HATE breaded onion rings and would have never ordered them. I ate the onion out of my rings and we left one (there were only 5 to start with and hubby was hungry so choked two down). He ordered fish and chips…they were glorified grocery market fish sticks, I had the Reuben on rye (it didn’t taste like rye but looked it so they’re using super cheap rye bread). NotMuch flavor, I make a better one at home. We both asked forThe fries well done, they weren’t, so can’t follow simple directions. We explained to the waitress that we weren’t satisfied with the onion rings and asked that they be taken off the bill, she said she had already asked and the manager or whoever was in charge said no. We told her to please tell themWe won’t be back and that they would receive a poor review. Also told her that she’s awesome and needs to get a job where they serve good food.I’ve been wanting toTry this place for a couple of years now, huge disappointment, we won’t be back and I cannot recommend to anyone unless the only thing you care about is filling your stomach and drinking beer.Ps the coleslaw was good

Stopped by for a relatively late dinner (around 8:30 pm) and this was the only place open in the area. Sat on the deck with our golden retriever. Perfect spot for an all American menu. Food was yummy and service was great

We went there 4 of us. Sat out on the deck and each had a wonderful meal that we all raved about. I had ribs, they fell off the bone with a delicious tangy bbq sauce. Came with fries and coleslaw. The ribs were a half rack but were huge. My wife had pulled pork sandwich and loved it. I had a UFO White ale and my brother in law had the brewer's own IPA. Both were great with ribs. The waitress gave us popcorn which was really good! Service was excellent, staff was really pleasant. I know you will enjoy this tavern restaurant.

Delicious!!! We sat inside but the porch area is very nice also. I highly recommend the roast beef sandwich, brisket with onions and the pulled pork was so good too but it does have a kick. We did make a reservation for a party of 6 however they were not very busy. Huge bar selection.

Had a great meal there and would definitely go again. We had cannonballs and then the Corned Beef (fabulous). The service was great and it was a lovely meal and of course great beer. Thanks all.

Stopped in on a Saturday night and it was a great place to eat. The wings were crispy and good, all of the food was great bar food. Would for sure recommended visiting another great place to eat in town.

A 4 for the area. Haven’t been to the Distillery or to the pub across the street so not much to compare to in the area. Food here was very good. The Brisket was maybe the best I’ve ever had eating out. My wife however got a salmon burger that came out deep fried 🤷🏻‍♂️. Their Burger was very good according to our child. Service was very nice but super rushed we felt. Like so fast that it just seemed rushed, although not. It’s a “Brewery” so we just wanted to enjoy some local beers and take our time and we did all that but we had to keep putting the brakes on the service. Great service but please let us sit and enjoy and catch our breath. As far as beer and breweries , this is really a 2.5-3.00. They have only 2 beers?!?!? And all the other drafts were pumpkin pretty much. Loved the ambiance of the place. Great Halloween decorations. WeLoved that. Don’t pass on this, awesome food!

Very nice place with good food and nice drink selection. Went with the barbecue sandwich with fries and Brown Cow Porter on this trip(highly recommend both). Nice seating outside on the porch with view of the town. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Will definitely keep coming back.

We had a fairly late dinner (this place closes later than other restaurants in town, in case you need a bite a bit later at night). Everything we tried was really good, felt homemade and comforting. Local beers were good too! Good atmosphere with music playing on the jukebox. Staff was super friendly and attentive.

Fried pickles were niceeeee. Breading to pickle ratio was good. Wasn't too crispy or soggy. Ranch sauce was good.Tasty ribs (waitress told us about the smoker out back and we were sold!)..though I wish they were a bit meatier.Irish Burrito was a surprise star and the Irish fries on the side allow you to skip ordering Irish fries as a starter (unless you want late night irish fries like me).Pulled pork was good. Good amount piled onto the bun. Not dry at all. Bun was a tadddd soggy, but not bad (sister in law who had the pulled pork suggests the fried pickles get added to the sandwich in the future..and it sounds like a genius suggestion).Awestruck cider was incredible..no growlers tho, but which was a bummerMega Boss IPA has top notch alcohol percentage andddd tastes good! Nirvana IPA was also good, but the flavor was bit stronger than the Mega BossThe bartender/waitress Cait was a sweetheart and informed. Made our lives very easy while ordering food and drinks

Food was okay. Our server was very warm and funny. Disappointed only one the craft beer available. The purpose for our visit was to taste their brews. Opted for their Sangria Cider it was delicious.

Im a pretty forgiving person but service was awful. The lady was very sweet but unreasonable to expect 1 waittress to cover the whole place. Beers were gkod so I give them an extra star, food was very unimpressive. Good for sullivan county but dont expect much if youre used to things you find in NYC.

Cute, out of the way location. Bright, open and clean decor. The food was very good. Freshly prepared with fresh ingredients. The cottage stew and chicken sandwiches were both very good with portions that were just right. The people I was with really enjoyed the local beers that were on tap.Friendly, attentive service. It was a nice, relaxing stop for a leisurely lunch.

More restaurant than brewery...didn't even receive a beer menu just a food menu.Food was ok. beer was fine. bathrooms were fair (sink needs attention as water doesn't go down quickly) we were the only ones there on a Thur at lunch. Definitely could feel the history of the town with all the photos on the walls. Overall decent place but could use a slight update.

The combination of atmosphere, beer selection, and food quality make this a stand out location. The family ordered a diverse selection of food and beverage and everything that came to the table was fantastic. Especially recommend the fish and chips and the Butternut squash ginger curry soup.

Wonderful place for an afternoon lunch on the porch. Our waitress was super fun and made a good place better. Good beer and cider on tap. Great burger. We will see you all again soon!

Went here for takeout during COVID-19. The food was so good. Highly recommend the Irish fries, which are similar to disco fries but with a tangy horseradish sauce and crumbled bacon. I also had the meatloaf and it was delicious (I normally can't stand meatloaf so this is a big compliment coming from me). The chili cheese burger tasted very fresh. I didn't ask but I suspect they are using local ingredients in many of their dishes. I look forward to coming back here to dine-in once the pandemic is over.

The food was good and served hot and liked the beer. But the doors were open with no screens and flies were all over my food pretty disgusting for being inside. Out seating you expect it. Get some screens on the Windows and doors if you don't want flies.

Sohhhhh Good! They were out of the prime rib so I had the cottage pie and he had the Seamus burger! Both were excellent! So were the IPAs. Large portions for a lunch. Casual atmosphere , warm reception. There are vegetarian options. I would go back in a heartbeat!

My party arrived Sunday evening to find that they did not have their liquor license renewed... Callicoon BREWING Company could not serve alcohol. We decide to stay. The waitress let's us know some of the specials are sold out. It's Sunday and Mother's Day, so, to me, this is a good sign; busy and in demand. I had the Cottage Pie; a riff on a Shepard's Pie. Not bad, meat and vegetables had a nice flavor, but the potatoes could have used a little toasted crust on top. Another one of my party ordered ribs; good flavor, but a little on the tougher side. Final member of our party had black bean quesadilla; filling had good flavor, but was very wet and made for a messy meal. Our waitress was friendly, knowledgeable, and really organized. The decor confused me; it was Fourth of July inside, but the outside had Christmas and St. Patrick's Day decorations up. Did I mention it was Mother's Day? Finally, their online presence is lacking. Website doesn't look like it's been updated since January and it's not mobile-friendly. Facebook page hasn't been updated recently. My $0.02, get an Instagram account (posts to Facebook too) and update daily. Ditch the website completely. Reroute the URL to the Facebook page. Save you money on webhosting and stay current. Anyway, decent food if you are in the area and looking for pub style eats. I wonder what the beer tastes like?

Food and drinks were very good. Service by Markus was exceptional. Would definitely go back. The place needs to be finished , they moved from the old firehouse to the Olympia Hotel which was a big undertaking. Hopefully they will put in all the finishing touches during the winter.

Went there on May 5th, my 11 year old son ordered Mac and Cheese, it was spoiled. The waitress appologized and explained that the refrigerator has been out of order for a while.That is disgusting!!!
