Granted the store had a complete renovation, but when there are transit containers all over the parking lot, and the you still have unprofessional staff working there, it is still a horrible store. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING THERE! If you absolutely need to go to a Family Dollar go to the one in Coxsackie or the tried and tried Saugerties. If you need to, use Dollar General in Athens, East Durham Palenville, or Greenville. Avoid going to this one. It's horrible. TBH, can't wait until DG reopens in Cairo.

This store is so cluttered and messy. Almost every aisle is blocked by boxes. Yet the refrigerators and shelves are empty. Its also weird to have the cashiers children hang out behind the register. But babysitters are hard to find. The cashier was super nice though. But the store is a disaster

Disaster! The aisle are blocked with merchandise ready to put up, stuff all over the floor, cooler shelves falling down, and a shambles. 4 children hanging out behind the register area with the mom waiting on customers and swearing at them, including the f word and telling one she’s going to beat her A—. I attempted to buy the card I needed but the kids decided to buy things using their moms state card… I can’t even! She was proud they knew her pin! I will never go back!

Dirty store, lazy staff, they absolutely despise awnsering the phone and have hung on me multiple times upon awnsering. I was attempting to get hired at this store and they did my interview and said they'd call me back about my background check and assured me multiple times they would and never did. They had trucks full of unscanned and unshelved goods. The employee drama is insane here. 1/10 don't reccomend this store at all for shopping or working at.

Store is unorganized. Absolute chaos in there. Hard to find things as well because of the awkward set up. Some employees aren't very friendly.

Omg. Bad news. Everything on their shelves are marked the wrong price. Ger up to the register it goes up an extra $3. Plus one lone woman working. I stood at that register for 15 minutes after calling for someone. The stores aisles are full of boxes, be careful you may fall. Bad news and sorry to leave a not so good review.

The place is filthy and staff never wander the phone. My husband has been trying to get work here for months had an interview and was told a handful of times they’d get back to him to no avail. They gossip to customers talking smack about other fellow employees and I have witnessed the manager standing outside chit chatting with locals rather than be in the store helping the other employees.

Had a pleasant shopping trip staff helpful and polite. Much better than a year ago. Store was rough going for a few years but seems to be getting better let's hope the upward trend will continue

Found everything I needed but feel that the employees are understaffed and have way too much on their plate for the pay they receive. They are always friendly but rushed because they are doing 2 and 3 jobs in one.

Tons of $1 clothes, especially sets. The cashier was working alone and I felt so bad for her, but she was on A game and very helpful and professional.
