Worst pharmacy. Scripts always on back order. Very slow to fill meds needed, never pick up the phone. Help behind the counter have attitudes, abrupt and hung up on me.. Ill go back to Walgreens in Greenville where the pharmacists go out of their way to help you.

I’ve never been to a worse CVS. They mess up picture orders, they’ve closed the door in my face before they’re supposed to close for the day, and the pharmacy constantly messes up prescriptions. I would never recommend this place to anybody. It needs new management and employees, or to be shut down and replaced with a Walgreens.

I lived in Hyde Park and the CVS Pharmacy there was great. I moved to the Catskill area and the Cairo CVS Pharmacy needs an overhaul . They had my script for 3 days and never filled it. Called 4 times and on hold more than 40 minutes each time and hung up each time, never being helped. Unbelievable! Went there 2 more times. The first time they were closed. Said someone had an emergency and also they were 2 weeks behind filling scripts. NEVER heard anything like that. Finally after 1 week and 1 day, got my script filled. UPDATE: I needed more scripts filled and they said I could wait. Waited sitting for about 20 minutes. The pharmacist, I think Brain, called me over. He explained all my scripts and was very nice. A better visit there. Hope that kind of service becomes a regular situation.

Staff are kind and do there best. Pharmacy is severely understaffed. You can not count on the hours that they even say their open, Drive through window is hit or miss depending on the day. Can not call there isn't anyone to answer the phone. If you need a script filled that day I would recommend using a different pharmacy. I can take usually 2 days to fill a script and don't count on getting all your scripts at once. I love CVS I wish the corporation would recognize the issues happening at this store and do more to fix it.

I tried to hang in there as a customer, trying to overlook the extremely long waits to get through on the phone, and the almost always present sign at the drive-through window that reads window closed-register broken. Not repairing the register raises a huge red flag. Sadly, for the Cairo community , this store seems to be on its way out. It was time to transfer my scripts to another pharmacy.

My doctor sent my prescription here. She attempted to call the pharmacy for over an hour to no one answering phone calls. I drove 30 minutes to discover that the pharmacy is closed. It’s ridiculous to assume that posting a sheet of paper on your store is a sufficient way of telling your customers that you would be closed. Please consider modernizing how this store is ran. An automated voice message would’ve been suffice

This is not a pharmacy! This is a store that sells sundries and occasionally has a pharmacy. Not one you can count on as they pharmacist must go to other stores as they seem to have a severe problem keeping good pharmacists. Even when the pharmacy is open, no one will answer your call. The store manager will lie to you and assure you your call will be answered. Doreen who will be rude for some reason can't answer the phone. Very poor customer service. Done with CVS.

CVS pharmacy in Cairo should just close its doors. Don’t waste your time trying to assist people. Just had THE most unpleasant experience with pharmacy staff named Jeremy. Won’t even go over the whole conversation because it’s not worth the time, but that man has absolutely no business interacting with the public. A simple task of attempting to pick up a script, which I was informed was ready yesterday (it wasn’t, so went back today), led to Mr. Jeremy being rude beyond belief. Respectfully, you deserve to get the boot. Will be switching my pharmacy strictly based on my experience today.There is another staff member there, a woman with short hair, she’s good people. Sorry you have to work with someone as miserable as Jeremy!

It is so disappointing that a local pharmacy is so poorly managed especially the pharmacy section. CVS has been serving this community for many years. In the last few years the pharmacy section has deteriorated. Numerous pharmacists have come and gone. We all can understand the staffing shortages many businesses are enduring, but this CVS pharmacy has been completely abandoned by the larger CVS corporation. The staff’s frustrations are being taken out on the customers attempting to fill their prescriptions. I’m finally going to abandon having our prescriptions filled at the CVS in Cairo, NY. We are considering either Hannaford or Walmart. This is such a shame!

My husband tried picking up his prescription for 2 days and the pharmacy was closed both days. The website says the pharmacy is open. You try to call and the recording just keeps playing and playing and playing. . . . You can't just leave a patient without access to their meds.

The people at the pharmacy dept are horrible, they have had my prescriptions for 2 weeks, finally get a text that my prescriptions are ready to be picked up, and the angry little elf in the back gets all upset and starts yelling at me and telling me that they're not because they're short-handed. I understand being short-handed, but two weeks come on really? This place deserves less than one star

It's awful that you get a text that your script is ready and that you get there and they tell you it's not we just scan it out so it doesn't go redI was then proceed to be told I should've come sooner if I needed it. This is 3 days after I got the text!Just like everyone else I came the soonest I cuuld after work

If I could could give zero stars I would. The people that work in this pharmacy are so incompetent. They had me waiting for someone for 30 minutes then I hang up and call back they answer and hang up then on the third call back they turn off their phones. And even when you do speak to someone they dont seem to know what they are doing. I ended up changing my pharmacy to the one in saugerties because they seem to know what they are actually doing. I'd rather drive a half hour then deal with their incompetent staff.

pharmacy staff is useless. ask for help and they point you in a direction and tell you somewhere over there. no knowledge of how to do there own job. no respect for customers. one girl looks at you like you get three heads when you ask her a question; like she knows everything, then she looks at you like your stupied even though she doesnt know the answer. couldnt just take 5 steps out of your station to help me find it, what im looking for. bare minimum in the pharmacy department.

They’re fine most of the time just to go in and out to get prescriptions, but several of the pharmacy techs are not pleasant to deal with. They make you feel like you are a burden for being there. Recently one was very loudly talking and even yelling across the room about what medication I was picking up, which is a violation of privacy. She was also doing this to every other customer that came in, and anyone in the near vicinity could hear what medications everyone was picking up. That isn’t how private information should be handled.

there's a reason this place is under staffed. the manager has no idea what efficiency is and makes you do the same job at least twice. condescending as heck and just plane rude. she thinks she can push you around with the threat of being fired. I was only there for better insurance. didn't do more than 3 weeks but it's my local store so I know it well. so many people warned me before and while I was there.DON'T WORK HERE.she'll also force you to work as physically much as you can take.bonus that every time they're out of covid tests, they're hiding about a dozen because the manager can't be bothered to have them go to a urgent care like they're supposed to and get the pcr ones.I fully plan on making a complaint to corporate as I'm concerned about the current and future people there. she has a woman with stage 4 cancer (she breaks hipa and tells everyone) over worked.she lied to me about a promotion to get me in the door, then reconsidered because of my ", schedule". which she knew beforehand. so unless you don't have any dependents and make your life about that place, you'll never be more than a cashier.

Pharmacy disorganized. Dr. ordered prescriptions twice in 2 weeks. Both times the scripts weren't ready despite over 2 hours between submission of scripts and pick up. This was not the first time this has happened at this location. Totally not recommended for speed of service.

Prescriptions are literally never ready when promised. Every time I try to pick up my monthly medications they “can’t find the script,” when I’ve had the same ones for about 2 years. Then, when they finally do find them, it still won’t be ready for another couple days. I understand things are crazy right now, but every month I go days without important medications because they never have their stuff together.

Don’t bother trying to get same day photos from online. Been a week and no one has a clue about my order as if it didn’t exist even tho I got a phone call saying order is complete. Had to call help like 2x to try and get it situated. Had to be re-routed to another store that can so now to get my item I have to travel almost an hour to another store to get my item because this store can’t do it apparently. Ridiculous that no employee could help me besides “call the help center”

It's kind of hit or miss with the services at this pharmacy. A couple of the pharmacists are very nice and helpful but sometimes you get a grumpy rude technician! CVS need to train these people better on customers services!

I have had trouble refilling prescriptions on numerous occasions. Last week was my last time. Going to change to a different pharmacy on Monday. Didn't have my medication twice, had to wait several days for the medication to arrive at the pharmacy now they claim my doctor had no record of me 2 minutes after I got off the phone with my doctor. Too stressful.

Great place to pickup your prescriptions. I love the app CVS has. I show them the barcode and it helps expedite the process. If I need a few other items, the friendly staff has always been willing to assist.
